I loved them but they were too wide for my somewhat narrow feet so I had to return them.

I have ordered 3 pair of slippers and had to return all of them.
I have a worn out pair I love, that were perfect size10 and perfect width. What do I have to do to get another pair that I can actually keep on my feet? All shoe size 10 gals do not have wide feet!

Great looking slippers but way too wide and big. I went up the suggested half size and hoped I would get used to the roominess but I haven't. I got a pair for my daughter-in-law, too, with the same results...way too large!

I received the polar bear scuffs for Christmas. I loved the look. I normally wear a 9 or 10 and received the 9. I could barely get them on. Too short and too tight across the top. Hubby reordered and got me a 10. Still too small! I could wear them barefoot but didn't fit with socks. Sent those back. I had ordered the moose motif in a 10 because we thought we couldn't get the polar bears. Those fit with thick socks with room to spare. They are cute and comfy, but if not a gift way too expensive for slippers. Why is the fit so different?

Got these same slippers about four years ago from my husband at the holiday. I LOVED THEM! They were comfortable and had a great rubber bottom so i could go outside with my pups, walk in the yard - no problems. However, when i bought a new pair for Christmas in 2019, the upper part of the slipper is the same. That is good. But the bottoms are now a slippery cheaper material. Actually very slippery on hard wood floors. They do not have the grip the older ones had. Very disappointed that they were downgraded. Now, these slippers are much like any others off the shelves. Sorry LL Bean, this change was not for the better.

Expensive. Not the most comfortable slippers.

I desperately wanted to love these slippers but alas - The 7's were too big and the 6's too small. Returning twice is a major hassle, half sizes would have fixed the issue, especially since they are so shoe-like with the molded bottom.
And I hate that LL Bean, which used to have the best and most reasonable return policy, is now charging $6.50 for shipping unless you carry their credit card.

I wanted to like these slippers, but the fit was just off. I ordered my usual size 7, but my feet moved around too much in the slipper & I felt as though they would very easily pose a trip or slip hazard. Even with my toes curled slightly to try and strengthen the grip, the slippers remained loose & I'll fitting. I was also kind of disappointed with the look & quality. . . but I wouldn't describe them as "poor" quality, just not as good as anticipated.

Minus one star for the opening stretching out and the not so much non-slipping sole. Minus a second star because these slippers attrack every dog and cat hair and every speck of lint and dust. And they don't want to let go. Might be okay if your house is pristine.

I got the items quite a bit later than expected; however, I was more displeased with the color. I ordered the Red and the color isn't as vibrant as it looks in the picture. It is super comfortable, although a little too wide, but that's ok.

I want to love these slippers but they seem a bit too short in length and not quite as wide as I would like. I wish they came in half sizes. Also, they are very stiff and do not seem to be softening with use. They were pricey and I am disappointed.

My wife wears a size 6.5. The instructions for half sizes are to order up to the next size. I ordered a size 7 and they were way too big - at least a full size. Too bad, they looked nice enough. I had to send them back.

These slippers were warm and cute BUT anyone with hammertoes take heed!!! There is a hard, possibly cardboard lining over the toes. I have hammertoes and after wearing the slippers for a few days I was in pain because the hammertoes were so irritated. I though 'oh no I'm out $70 for a pair of slippers" but I called LL Bean & they let me return them for a refund which was truly awesome.

I love these slippers. They are a perfect fit,and are SO nice and warm. I bought the polar bear design..significant to me with a Coastie aboard the Polar Star! Unfortunately the sole came apart. BUT customer service immediately arranged to send me a new pair..so I am happy!

So sad to have to return, I'm a true 7 and these fit more like a size 8. I'm so bummed because now they are out of size 6.

Loved the show's design. Warm and stylish. Interior very comfy and cozy. BUT, the sole is flat as a pancake and hard. Why make a comfy show and then glue a hard unforgiving sole to it???

Couldn't keep on my feet because they were too wide. Had to return. There should be width choices.

I thought I would like them, they were to replace previous purchase of cat slippers, which were more flexible, but now pretty much worn out. I couldn't walk in these cute racoons. 3 stars because they are cute. But the soles were so stiff all I could do was shuffle, not walk.

I wear a 6.5, ordered a 7 that were too wide and a full size too large. I returned them for a size 6 that will hopefully fit better.

I am on my second pair of these scuffs. I received both pairs as gifts that I requested. The first pair was very sturdy and lasted several years. They would have been given 5 stars. They fit comfortably right out of the box and the fit is true to size. That has not changed. Unfortunately, as with other L.L. Bean products, when an item becomes popular the quality suffers and the price goes up. These slippers were originally very well constructed and the interior was very durable. I only wear these in the colder Midwest months-basically November through March, and they are worn only as slippers indoors. When the original ones wore out, my new Christmas present came and I was immediately disappointed. They weigh considerably less and feel flimsy. Halfway into the first "season" of wearing the second pair, the interior is worn to almost ripping just from regular use. The price for these scuffs is almost 1/3 more than when I originally got them. The product is a very cute concept and very comfortable but the price is now exorbitant. I would recommend them if they are on sale, and they are really not for extended outdoor use. They also cannot be machine washed.

Well, they are great slippers! I first found out about them because my sister let me borrow hers. I was in love. I bought a pair myself. I only ware them in the house, but the inside seems to need cleaning. When I looked up how to clean them, the recommendation was to spot clean? Wait, what? So there is no way to clean/disinfect the inside? Well, I won't be buying these again.

I have been an LLBean customer for over 40 years never one time having any complaint with the quality of product or service. Still do not, however I was greatly disappointed to learn that you no longer offer the dress loafers I have worn for so many years. Hopefully you will reconsider your decision and reinstate this line to your inventory.
Thank you for many years of great products and service.

They are holding up well, but the inside is not soft and cuddly like I would expect a slipper to be. The inside feels like it is all matted down and your walking on the soul of the slipper. I would not pay the price again.

I finally purchased these slippers after holding them on my wish list for some time. The quality is good, but they are a little wide and not very comfortable. I find them too bulky for indoor slippers.
