I purchased these slippers in 2018, but did not begin to wear them right away, until my other slippers wore out. In time, the fleece lining wore down mostly on the left foot, and I purchased liners to put inside the slippers. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem and it is now 2023, and I am ready to throw these slippers out, that look nearly new on the outside, but not the inside. I won't be buying these again. I guess I should be happy with five years, but I would have expected an LLBean product to last much longer. I am ready to try a different brand.

Excellent construction and quality but the size was huge. I wear a 7.5M and the recommendation was to size up for half sizes, but I might need a 6, or a narrow. My feet were swimming in these.

Quality control is lacking-uneven seam on one shoe. Otherwise, it would appear to be up to what I'd expect from LL Bean.

I ordered these slippers in a size 7, my regular size. My foot immediately slipped forward into the slippers where my toes touched the end of the toe box. There must have been at least an inch and a half of the slipper's heel flapping around behind me. I measured the slippers on the sole from heel to toe and the measurement was 11 3/4 inches. My old size 7 Uggs measured 10 3/4. These slippers are way to long although the width felt true to size. Also the squared off bottom of the rubber sole would catch on the carpet when walking and I almost tripped a couple of times. OK for hardwood and tile floors. So returned them.
I'd also recommend:

Wonderfully warm just way big. I'm 8.5, bought 8-when fleece settled to my foot, it seemed like a 10. Now I know, not a fan of that flat sole. Bought traditional slipper after.

Too big. I am half-size (but quite narrow feet) so followed instructions and ordered up. But way too big. Also, overall style fairly "clunky" and not to my liking. Sheepskin, however, was good, thick and soft. Returned.

Nice but not sure worth the $ - I have worn them for about a month - the bottoms have not really held up. Would probably not buy them again.

Thought they were nice. But after wearing them I looked at the label. They are made in Myanmar. I am totally disappointed in ll bean for manufacturing anything in this suppressed country. Shame on you.

I bought my first pair of these 2-3 years ago and have worn them constantly since. Therefore was in need of a new pair. Well I got the new pair but am sticking with the old. The upgrade is very large, not as comfy. Very thick hard sole which doesn't bend with foot and sounds like a clod hopper and my foot wants to walk out of them. Has seam down middle of top that I don't like. Just not thrilled with remodel. Probably going back.

Normally I wear a 9.5. I ordered these in a size 9, but they seemed almost a full size too big. Seems odd when it says to order up if you are a half size.

I purchased these in the plum color - it is a beautiful color, and I actually bought a second pair when they went on sale. Now that I've been wearing them on a daily basis (had to wait for Winter), I'm rather disappointed in these slippers. There is NO arch support. I don't recall this being the case with other styles of the same brand slippers.

I ordered these slippers on the advice of a co worker and I am disappointed in the wear and tear. The pros are they are warm, fluffy, and comfortable. The con is the lambswool is already wearing off and tearing away in spots and they are only a month old. I do wear them every day after a long day of work but just thought with LL Bean's quality, they would wear much better. I had a pair exactly like these from Macy's that lasted longer and were way cheaper. For 80 bucks, I expected better.

These slippers came in my size (5/5.5) --a rare find at the company--and they fit my feet perfectly. They appeared well-made, easy to put on and take off, AND I knew that the sole would allow me to wear them (judiciously) out-of-doors. BUT, when I walked in them, I discovered that they have no give. I was simply unable to walk normally. Instead I would have to shuffle about, and I didn't plan to do that no matter how tempted I was by the warm slippers.

I bought these to replace my wicked good slippers that wear way too easily. I figured the thick sole and backless would be great, considering I usually step on the back of the wicked good slippers anyway. Unfortunately this sole is way too hard, it's heavy and hard to walk in. I wear slippers 100% of the time at home during the winter so it's a deal breaker. Also seem to run big. I'm a 9 - 9 1/2 and I ordered a 9, there's at least 2 inches of space at my heel. They do seem well made, and warm, though!

I got these slippers two months ago and the heel portion of the slipper is already bald and the shearling is completely gone there. Not what I expected for the price I paid. I do like the warmth of the slipper but a wear down like this make me apprehensive to get them again.

I bought these pretty slippers after wearing similar Uggs for 3 years. They looked similar and the price was better than Uggs. Unfortunately, they were so narrow I could barely get my feet in them. I tried wearing them for a month hoping they would stretch out a bit but they did not. I'm a size 8 medium in shoes and slippers. The length was perfect, but the width was too narrow. I've gone back to Uggs. I will donate my L.L. Bean slippers.

The shearling slippers seemed to be a good deal. I like the color (purple), but found the length too long. My size is 7/12 and I ordered up as suggested to an 8. Also, the shearling is somewhat yellow and I was expecting whiter. Still a good deal, feels comfortable, but not perfect.

Initially loved the slippers, very warm but after a week or so and the lining flattened the slippers are way too long. Ordered my usual size 6 but as I wore them and my foot started moving forward there is now at least 1 inch behind my heel. Will have my daughter try them on (she is a size 8 shoe) to see if they fit her. So sad. Wanted these to replace Ugg slippers I had for several years. Would recommend to a friend but order down and not up.

The color is beautiful and the upper materials are of great quality, but the sole is very HARD. Clunky when walking, not flexible for slipper comfort. Please revise your design with a flexible sole like the Men's Wicked Good slipper. Not sure if I will be returning these or not.

The first issue was the sizing. I am an 8 1/2 purchased 9, sent it back for 8. The second issue was the insole and platform of shoe just wasn't very comfortable. I wore it around the house for a few hours and just wasn't happy. I do have problem feet though. The slippers are very attractive and its too bad but I really need an EVA insole which of course costs a lot more!

I saw these slippers in the LL Bean retail store in December before they hit online. The blue and fuchsia colors are so bright and vivid that you almost have to buy them... until you try them on. Personally, they were uncomfortable because the foot bed is flat like a board, with no give whatsoever, and offers no support. Even with the fleece lining, it was like walking on a board. I am surprised that LL Bean is able to even manufacture any kind of uncomfortable slipper. Just use the base of any wicked good slipper, apply the new colors, and you would have another wicked good winner. :)

I live in Southern California so I only wear slippers for a month or two in the winter as it doesn't get too cold. These slippers didn't last two winter seasons with mild indoor use. For the price, they aren't worth it. The rest of the slipper is quality but I wanted the shearling to last.

I do have to say that these slippers are warm but they are the most uncomfortable slippers I have ever worn. Very disappointed with them. I definitely would not buy them again.

The soles were too hard with very little support inside. As I walked they did not bend and it caused pain in my feet. I'm disappointed with the fit because they looked so nice
