Here's my experience with these slippers after 13 months of use. Overall they are good slippers; however there are several things you need to know up front. When these slippers are new they are tight... like really snug tight. Then, as the plush furry stuff wears down they become loose... like almost floppy loose. So, expect them to change fit over the long haul. The furry stuff sort of magically disappears over time until there are some hairless areas under foot. The slipper is comfortable for quite a spell. The sides and back of the slipper start getting somewhat worn out of their original position and this makes your foot less stable and leads to more episodes of walking or standing slightly off the sole: which is a bit of a bother. The construction of the various parts of the slipper is top notch. I've really put mine through the paces and all the stitching has held up. The sole has also held up very well. I will state that I NEVER wear mine outside. So, overall I'd say fit, on a scale of 1- 10. I give it a 4-10. It goes from too tight to just right to too loose.
Durability I'd give 7. Mine are very much intact but they become "wobbly" over time due to stress on the fabric in the back half of the shoe. Comfort, I still give it 8 because even when worn well past their prime, they are still pretty comfortable. I will state, in closing, I just bought new slippers: I bought a different style this time.

Best slippers I have had in years. No sweaty feet, slip on, and decent tread on the bottom for sneaking outside.
5 stars, except the slippers don't match. Were they were made in two different factories, or by two different shifts, or by different workers? No big deal, as I won't be wearing them in public.

I love these slippers. They are so comfortable and the natural wool keeps my feet comfortable and doesn't get stinky. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that I wish there was a replaceable insole. This is my second pair and the only reason I bought a new pair is that the insole is worn, The rest of the slipper is as good as new.

Soft and comfortable.
True to size.
Sole is a great benifit for the quick dash to get the mail or put the garbage pail to the curb.

Size is teeny bit big. My husband wears a size 10.5 shoe and we were advised to get 11 and they are just a bit "sloppy." But overall love them. He hasn't taken them off since Christmas morning!

Slippers be are comfortable. The fit is good but I feel like I'm going to walk out of them. I wish they were a little snugger.

Bought these last year for my son and he loves them. Ordered a size 11 last year and they were too big so had to exchange them for a size 10. This year I ordered a size 10 year and they were too small so had to exchange them for a size 11. My Son is 20 and not growing any more. So, both years I had to exchange for different sizes. Need to keep sizing consistent.

Scuff slippers are well made, comfy, and look like they will last. We plan to use them at our ME camp (UT Carrying Place) as LL has been quoted, "cabin floors are cold in the am" particularly for those of us with poor blood circulation. We take a 10 1/2 but since 1/2 sizes were not offered, we ordered up to 11. Alas, alack, when they arrived, a note in the box said to order down re: 1/2 sizes. So, we returned them at once and now have 10's which we are 'breaking in'.

The scuffs are made of very high quality materials. The workmanship is also of great quality. I wear size 11. Unfortunately, the scuffs are loose on my feet. Slightly wide and slightly long. I can still wear them, but I wish that I could have tried them on first and found the perfect size. They tend to slip when walking. Even so, they are a wonderful shoe for around the house. Especially during the recent freeze storm. They arrived just in time.

Nice fit. If cold feet are a problem around the house, this shoe is great.

Good quality materials, warm, cozy. However, these are Not for wide feet, (like mine). There is No Wide Size option. The LL Bean Operator told me that wearing them may stretch and widen the size. Nope. I like them, but may need to bring them to a shoe repair place for stretching.

Great but wish they came in half sizes. The 9 was a tad big the 8 a bit small. Otherwise very soft but sturdy and comfortable

As indicated above, the scuffs were well made and the materials were just as I expected. However they seemed to be too narrow or too small at the toes.

Ordered this from one state away, and they did not process or ship for FOUR days, making the gift late. I should have driven there. Customer service reply was not at all impressive. The slippers, however, are great! (just be warned, dogs love them too!)

Has a good sole and a good fit. The lining could be a bit more substantial, but it's adequate.

What's not to love about 'Wicked Good' slippers . I've bought them for years for family but my husband never puts his heels in and the string never stays tied . So I thought I'd get these scuffs for Fathers Day but not offered in wide width. Of course , they are too narrow so I am going to try a size up and see if that helps .

Very well made with good material. True fit. For the price it would have been five stars if it was made in USA.

I bought these for my husband and he likes them because they are very comfortable but next time I would order half a size larger because he says they feel too short on his feet. They tend to slide off his feet.

I was never really one to wear slippers but these are very comfortable and durable for outside use (on pavement). Slippers are warm, soft but allows the foot to breathe. My only complaint is that I was under the assumption that LL Bean made most- if not all of their products in the USA/North America. These slippers are made in China......I hope they last.

These slippers are beautiful and well made. They just did not fit me. Very warm and cozy. The problem for me was the rear low back kept folding down and I was walking on it. That's not comfortable. I reluctantly returned them. I should add that I bought a size larger than I normally wear, thinking to avoid that problem. Bean is great. You don't have to worry about trying items and returning them.

This is a quality slipper! However, it was a size too big. I wear a 9 and it was a size too big. Also, I did not notice in the pic that the heel design was more slipper than mocassin. I reordered an 8 with the different heel design. Look forward to many years of wear.
