I needed shoes that are STURDY for all the movements involved in classes like tabata, kick box cardio, step, boot camp etc. This one fits the bill! No sliding side/side and no sliding forward/backward during multiple quick movements (like skaters). Perfect arch. I also love, love that the toe box is wider and shaped like a real foot! My real size is a 9W. I usually have to get a 9.5 wide for sneakers with a more pointed toe - even in Rkya - for my "duck" feet but then they are a little big so .. slipping. The 9W fits PERFECT!!! I'm getting a second pair :) If you are a normal M width you might want to try 1/2 size smaller since there is more room for the bottom of your foot to spread out. I really hope Ryka makes more styles with this foot bed print!

These shoes have a super stable footbed and are perfectly flat. Great lifting shoe! If you're looking at for walking, buy something else. These are solely for strength training!

These shoes feel sooooo good on... very supportive and they are definitely cute.

Does what it's intended - great support for my high arch and instep. Love the narrower heel! Needs a little more support on the side, or maybe more of a high top. Otherwise I would have given it a five star.

I got these shoes because I stand for 6-10 and thought maybe they would be like Brooks, but they're incredibly painful. Super adorable, I'll give them that, but they're meant more for looks than for purpose. They're not that great to work out either.

So comfy. I always return to Ryka if I've worn another athletic shoe.

Love these shoes. Comfortable with lots of support. I Jazzercise five days a week and switch my shoes around. Ryka shoes are great workout shoes.

This is my second pair of these the Focus XTs. I love the way the fit my foot - I've never put on a better athletic shoe that fit from the moment I tried it on. Fits like a glove on my foot and zero break-in time needed. I do a lot of HITT style training and entry-level lifting. Typically I start with a 5-min run to warm up and then do things like walking lunges with a weighted bar or deadlifts with an olympic bar + 20-30 lbs. These shoes are great for traction and balance for all these activities. I love the color choices on these shoes too. My first pair still has life in them, I bought a second pair because I wanted a second color. I bought the first pair 10 months ago and used them 3-5 times a week at an indoor gym. I have narrow feet and heels and dont have any problem with heel slippage. I always rub the heels out of the back lining of any shoe, but I can get patches on Amazon to prolong the life of the shoe. 10/10 recommend. @Ryka team - never take this shoes out of the line up.

I have just started back doing step aerobics after an abdominoplasty in March. These shoes are awesome and I LOVE the pivot points as I have balance issues. They help me keep my footing when moving and help keep me from tripping and falling.

I bought these for wieghtlifting. They are light wieght and get better range of motion for lifts. I want to buy more for walking around.

Love these shoes, arch support, soft insole and oh so comfortable and perfect for resistance training or cardio dancing. Ryka never disappoints.

I was surprised at the amount of support in the shoe. The wider toe box added to the comfort of the shoe without sacrificing support. Best of the Ryka shoes I have purchased.

I really like this shoe! True to size, comfy, and lightweight. I only wish they had a little more padding around the balls of the feet/front of the shoe because apparently I run/bike on my toes lol.

Have worn them twice for aerobics so far. They're comfortable and I appreciate that the laces are not way to long. The arch and heel support seems good but I think there could be a touch more padding in the ball of foot and toes. Hopefully they will last more than a few months.
