Customer Reviews New Balance Kids 680v6 (Little Kid/Big Kid)

We were very disappointed in these shoes. After approximately 2 months of average use they totally fell apart (huge holes) in the front mesh to the point were they are absolutely not usable. We have bought many new balance kids and adults shoes before and always liked them but with this experience will not be buying New Balance again. Contacted their customer support a few weeks ago and had no reply.

He wore them daily for almost 2 months however the Velcro strap came apart, the material is lifting and it has holes. The left foot is much worse than the right. My son also toe walks. So I think it could've been worse since they probably would've been too small by Christmas. I ordered these in an extra wide, he's normally a wide. Please offer wider widths especially with hook and loop closures.

My kids have wide, flat, overpronating feet. We have used NB for years. The quality of this shoe does not last very long. Please redesign the 680 with better materials!

The 680v6 are my son's favorite shoe, but they only ever last a few months of regular wear. He is not rough on his shoes, but the mesh in the front of the shoes get big holes. We have bought 3 pair each time his feet grew, and each time they fell apart within 4-5 months.

I bought these sneakers for my 7 year old daughter. The mesh tore at several points on both shoes, especially around the laces. I'm a huge NB fan and this was very disappointing.

Zero stars for the product. Zero stars for New Balance customer service. My 6 year old picked these out primarily because he loved the colors. I should have listened to the other reviewers saying they wouldn't last. After 3 months of light wear (i.e. 2-3 times per week) the mesh is already torn on both shoes. Super disappointing and a total waste of money.

My son wore these shoes for a few weeks. WEEKS. They literally fell apart. He's hard on his sneakers but I expect better from New Balance.

And shame on myself for buying these with the reviews as they are. In my defense, they have another shoe with the exact same name 680v6 with great reviews. But if you look closeat the pictures it is different materials. I noticed it only a month after he had them and he said they had been like that. I might not have noticed then if he didn't get them wet so I went to set them outside. Why do you continue to sell a shoe that does not last longer than a month before getting completely torn up?? You see these reviews but yet you keep selling them. Some ppl at 2 weeks, which was probably my sons too since he said they had been that way. SHAME ON YOU KNOWINGLY SELLING A DEFECTIVE SHOE. YOU NEED TO REFUND PEOPLE. I just now have the extra money saved to get a new pair so he's been having to wear this to school
