I had to get these for my job. After one month of work, my feet were already hurting me. I had problems finding the right insoles to fit these shoes. They were too narrow for my feet. I ended up with rubbing my toes on the steel. Not comfortable at all.

These were the 2nd pair of safety work boots and these are a pleasant surprise as I didn't expect to find comfort in a safety after I returned the first pair (which felt like I was walking on bricks after about 3 hrs and left my feet, legs and back screaming). The style is just OK as it looks a little masculine eventhough it's a unisex boot. I've found that most of them run wide and about a half size bigger than my normal shoes. Ordered a half size smaller and put extra Insoles in for a perfect fit and comfort for 10 hrs walking on concrete warehouse floors. I only wish that I could find a Merrell in a cute safety shoe.

The size was a little large but it's ok

Taking them out of the box, I liked the style and quality of the shoes but was sure I'd have to send them back for an exchange because they looked massive! They wound up fitting perfectly with just the right amount of wiggle room for my toes. They do make my feet look a bit overly large, but I don't really mind. I've only worn them around the house so far because I can tell I'm going to have to get some socks with a higher and thicker cuff to prevent chafing around my ankles, especially from the shoe tongue. This shoe is otherwise comfortable and probably won't require much breaking in or the addition of insoles. As other reviewers have mentioned, the laces are far too short and I will probably end up replacing them.

These boots are excellent in every way,no need to break in, about a half size large, they are light,but when you tie the top, the shaft takes getting used to. If they were leather I would give 5 stars all the way. Wore them to work, comfort was a 1000% however the cloth like outer is not going to last long. There was freying on the edges of the fabric when I got home.

Love them so far

I like a tight shoe, these stride well on a flat surface as well. I suppose all composite shoes are going to be bulky. These shoe/boot help me feel light footed too. I hope they break in more enough to really tighten my shoes

Fit well

Love the workboots. Some of the most comfortabel I have ever worn.

I normally use size 9 however when working ten hours a day I don’t want my toes to keep hitting the tip of the shoes cause it’ll start to hurt. With that said I do like the style but they really need insouls or else they hurt!

its good for work

These shoes are cute but a little heavy and they run big.

It feels a full 1/2 size larger. The width is good.

Good shoes but too heavy to be worn standing and working for hours.

Fit was good, material was good, style was great. The only problem was they have no bend as I walked, making a very uncomfortable experience.

This shoe not comfortable at all even with the insoles , worn out so fast now am like I have to wait for almost 6 months to get another shoe.

i saw cracks on this shoe 3 months after i have worn it not a comfortable shoe overall.

As many of the other reviews stated. The laces are very short, so there is the much to work with when you try to tie your shoes. The tung of the shoe rubs really bad if against the front of the ankle. I really wanted to love these, but after 1 10hr shift my ankle was raw from the rubbing.

It was wrong size

I don't like the boot at all they are not comfortable for my feet it maybe different for other feet

This is my 3rd purchase that I'm returning .. dosnt fit your size a bit larger ,in addition it's not comfortable, wore it for like 1 hour around to see how it does , it was not comfortable at all. I really did like these, but the higher ankle was very stiff, they were much too large for me .. clown like. I generally wear a size 8/8.5 in merrels regularly and ordered up because of the toe. But my ultimate decision to return these for another style of Merrill work shoes is because it hit a very uncomfortable part on my ankle and was stiff-like. Might be better for men, I’m not sure. I really wanted to like and keep these, but they just didn’t work out. I went with a gym shoe style instead and I’m super happy with those.

Nice boot but fits super tight. Ordered an 8 but needed 8 1/2.
