the bag is great! i would buy it if could! there's alot of space (more than expected) and the quality is really good and sturdy, i would be using this bag everywhere i would go like camping, snowboarding and traveling for a month away from my home. the bag is the only companion i need, thanks north face!

I used my base camp for travel to Florida and Jamaica it couldn't be better choice. I hold everything I was carrying

The best bag I've got. So easy to use and comfortable and good quality. I'm a casual hiker and I do a lot of road trips and this bag is the best m. The quality is just perfect and it's also very pretty ! I would probably get another one soon.

I've owned several duffels before - Nike, Dimebags, Polo - but nothing compares to this one. I'm astounded by the quality. The material is beyond durable so I expect it to last for years to come, and I mean years. The space is amazing, perfect for everyday use and normal trips, the compartments and zippers are all well designed and you can tell a lot of thought was put into making these bags. On top of that, the design / color scheme is amazing as well. I love this bag so much, I went and bought two of the duffel canisters, and I can see myself getting a L size one of these in the future as well to have for longer trips. The only con I have with this bag - I wish they made a single, diagonal over-the-shoulder strap which is standard for most duffels, but the straps that convert it into more of a backpack work too. That's it! Everything else is top quality.

We bought a medium and small for each of our kids for christmas. They love them. It's nice to have the choice of the 2 sizes. Both fit nicely in the overhead compartment of a plane and can be carried as a backpack making walking through the airport easy.

I travel around the world on my motorcycle and this bag is always strapped to the top upside down ( not water proof) I love this bag and it takes a lot of abuse. Last bag lasted me 15 years

Best travel bags ever, such a good quality and craftsmanship, though bag for years of travel, also its almost completely waterproof, I dropped off a boat together with my 22" carry on that I have and all my things were dry inside in both bags after I took them out about a minute or two later amazing bags, worth every $$$

Great size for week trips

I bought this for an upcoming round trip and future foreign trips. I can't wait to use this. This thing should last a lifetime the way it's put together. super rock sold. I also bought the XL duffel in matching red. Way easier than black to see on an airport carousel with everyone else's black luggage.

I love this bag that doubles as a backpack. Super Happy that I can bring it on the plane for the overhead compartment. Smallish, yet very roomy!

I got a job at an airline and needed a bag that was spacious enough to accommodate clothes and souvenirs from my trips, while also being small enough to use as a carry-on. That plus it needed durability for multiple trips, and it needed to be able to withstand the beating of the TSA bag systems. I've been working for the airline for two years now and this bag has been my trusty travel companion all over the world. It has held up very well, and I appreciate being able to treat it like a backpack, which helps navigating over long distances. It has been the best travel related investment I've made, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again!

Needed a bulletproof duffel for a Kilimanjaro hike. Have several larger (XL and XXL) base camps that have been hauled around the world and still going strong. No brainer to buy another smaller version. Backpack straps mean easy hauling and these things can take a beating.

Beside the color, which is fabulous, we love that it also is a backpack. Perfect for weekend getaways when you have a lot to carry. Generous size, too.

Exactly what I needed, just remember, it's a duffle with 2 shoulder straps like a back pack.

Pockets and sizing is great for travel
