I ended up getting this bag while on a trip to Hawaii for which I had woefully underprepared. I got the Base Camp - M after shopping and it has fast become my go-to medium-to-large sized travel bag.

I am currently in Thailand using it as a carry on bag. I love the backpack style straps, and how tough the product is. I would have no problem checking this bag in at the airport if needed. It's tough enough to take the extra pounding from baggage handlers at the airport.

The bag can become very compact when not in use. I have used it once and it carries a lot and seems sturdy.

I'm a teacher at a homeschool co-op, and I purchased this fab bag to carry all my teaching materials to and from school and into and out of the classrooms to which I travel. It's super duper tough and has plenty of room for all my stuff (textbooks, notebooks, binders, pens, lunchbox, etc.). The extra zippered pocket at the one end along with the small mesh pocket inside the larger compartment are awesome features for a bit more organization! While gone one evening (after having gotten home from school and forgetting my empty salad container was still in there), my goldendoodle helped himself into the bag (he's good with zippers ) and spilled leftover bits of salad and dressing all over the place while attempting to eat whatever remains he was able to scrounge up. Good news is the bag was 100% still in tact (super tough up against a goldendoodle's giant teeth!) and it was a cinch to clean!! I just took it outside, sprayed it down inside and out with our garden hose and some cleaner, let it dry outside for a bit, and it was as good as new. I'll also add that I have a 2nd larger-sized North Face duffel that I purchased years ago, and when our tent got rained-out & water-logged following a surprise shower while camping down in FL recently, the ONLY stuff that remained 100% dry was what was in that North Face bag!!! (That's actually what prompted me to purchase the smaller version for my school stuff.) These bags are the real deal!

Holds my stuff

Travelled with this to Canada and it was perfect as a carry-on and fit a week's worth of clothing in this. Loved the backpack conversion ability and made it super easy to travel with. Love how compact it gets when stored away

Great quality. Sturdy with great design

The bag is very durable and has lots of space for a weeks worth of clothing if you are vacationing. The backpack straps are very comfortable when carrying everything. I recommend this if you you like traveling and it fits on the overhead bins on airplanes.

Attending grandkids sporting events. I carry ground covers sports drinks, towels, binoculars etc.

My husband received this as a gift. He loves it. Durable, spacious and convenient to use.

Love! Carry's so much but not enough I can carry

We went on an adventure trip and needed a bag this exact size. It was perfect and surprisingly packed a lot for it's size. Multiple people on the trip had this same bag.
