The main pocket gets very tight once the laptop pocket is full. It is roomy at the bottom but hard to squeeze things through the top.It is a daily struggle to try and squeeze my lunch through. But besides that, Love it!!

I've only had the bag for a few weeks and have already got good feedback. Comfortable and feels just as durable as my old one. Would buy again.

Great study backpack. The second pocket could use a little more room. The compartment doesn't go all the way down like the large compartment does. Also the water bottle holders on the side are great because my water bottle will never fall out but also you can't retrieve your water-bottle without taking off the backpack.

It's a good looking backpack. I have 3 main issues that make it less than ideal.
1. The pocket they show an iPad is is very misleading. It does not fit the smaller iPad Pro or iPad Air making it pretty much useless for anything bigger than a small book.
2. The pocket above the stretch pocket is weirdly opened from the middle making it impossible to put something in it that is anything bigger than 2/3 the volume of the pocket.
3. Lastly, the layout of the bag makes it so that if you aren't bringing many big item, the central pocket gets crowded by front pockets and make anything at the bottom very inaccessible.

Use it for a few weekend trips and daily commute, carry's everything I need and can also hold a large backing cube for minimal travel

As a nursing student, this is perfect to carry all of my class necessities and also my nursing equipment for clinicals. It's super sturdy and doesn't feel heavy at all. The only downside is it doesn't do a good job at standing up on its own.

Overall, this is a cool backpack but not a practical one for me. I am a high school student who has to carry around many books, but this bag does not have nearly as much room as I had wished for.

I use the backpack for work and night school. I am able to use this bag for everything. The support of the back and the straps make a great deal of difference in the weight of the bag.

I bought this backpack for my 15 y/o who is in High School. She had too many books plus her 17" laptop to fit in her older backpack. After some research I found this backpack is roomie enough for books and a laptop of the size she owns. Most backpacks only hold 15" laptops, so this backpack was just what she needed. The backpack is also very comfortable, which is a plus. Great purchase!

This backpack is much smaller than expected. It's billing as a 30L pack is misleading compared to my previous 33L pack. It looks child-sized.

I needed a new daily bag and I am so happy to have found this one. I manage a climbing gym and this bag fits all my needs. The mesh pouch in the front is one of the biggest things I look for. It is the perfect place for my climbing shoes so they don't become too smelly and don't make my bag smell. The compartments are hugely useful and a big upgrade from my previous bag.

I bought this for my son who is in university. I watched several YouTube reviews and decided on this Recon backpack because of the features. It has compartments that make sense. It is very sturdy and the strap design make it easier on his back to carry. I know he will get years of use out of it. We also do a lot of traveling and this is a perfect carryon size for his laptop and at least 2 days of clothing.

Overall a strongly built backpack, but stiff (a bit hard to pack) and the fact that it doesn't sit upright on its own (it falls over) keep this at 4 stars instead of 5.

I use this as an everyday backpack for work, day trips, etc. The quality is terrific. The laptop space is large - plenty of space for my 16" screen.
