Purchased this for my middle school son and he loves it! It's not too big for him and still can handle all his books and laptop.

Very good backpack. Sturdy, seems durable, looks nice, and a good amount of space with lots of compartments. Good backpack for school! The water bottle pockets could be a little more flexible, but they are durable. Very grateful for this backpack

Good look and quality

This RECON pack is used for tours by a person of advanced years. Works great to store all the items, including two cameras and all associated accessories, cold and/or rain gear, collapsible cane, extra meds, first aid kit, snacks, water and all the other items that 79 years of experience considers necessary for wandering about both new and familiar places in the world. Not only does it have ample room for all those things, it's also comfortable to carry. Can't think of anything I would change in the design or execution of the RECON.

It is just amazing a must buy for everyone.

The backpack has tons of storage. The back padding is comfortable and has good ventilation. I recommend this backpack.

We bought the same backpack two years ago for my daughter to use as a book bag in high school. It's perfect because it fits everything, including her lunch and gym clothes. It even has a compartment for a wet bathing suit after swim in gym . The old one is still usable, but we bought this new one in a different color for her last two years of high school.

This is my travel bag! I can toss my clothes in, IPad and easily carry it on my back.it fits great, not to small, not to big and is easy on my back. It sits comfortably enough not to interfere with walking. I am disabled and not just any pack will do. This one does!

Love this backpack. It has a suprisingly large capacity yet doesn't look bulky.

I use the pack to carry a computer and change of clothes when I ride my bike into work. The nylon canvas is tough and the zippers are solid. I wish was a little bigger ~ 35l. The pack is very comfortable to wear when fully loaded.

I was looking for an everyday bag for work and personal life and went online to do research and saw a bunch of videos. I narrowed it down to Northface and then the Recon. Most of the bags interior for all Northface bags are similar. I really like the exterior though and the minimalist look, but still have enough pockets for storage. It's also pretty comfortable with the padding on my back. You don't feel it as much, as you would with other bags, especially the material and the heat it brings when carrying heavy items. Overall, I am enjoying the bag and it's exactly what I need.

Great construction and layout, works great for traveling, hiking, or just as an everyday backpack, would recommend for sure Straps are just a bit too stiff not much of a setback though

I use it daily for my classes as well as the large capacity helps me to travel and fit clothes in it as well.

I liked the new design.

I recently received this item and I'm loving it so far! I bought it to replace a Surge I've had since 2013, and it's been a great replacement. It is slightly smaller than my Surge was, which is perfect for my current needs.

Not only does this thing have a ton of space but the fit and finish on this second to none. I wish I would've bought but the reason I didn't as I know that this one will probably last me six or seven years, and I use it every single day North-face better watch out if they keep making products this good nobody's gonna need to buy another one

Fits all my needs. Zippers feel great. Lots of room and pockets. The exterior canvas feel super high quality.

Bought this pack for my grandson for 21st birthday. He is loving it.

I'm about to find out heading out to Arizona for two weeks of hiking. I believe it'll hold up just well.

I use this as a carry on bag for trips. I love all of the compartments including one for my computer. It's a great bag to help you stay organized. Plus bottom carriers on the side.

I bought this bag in pink and I love it! I've been using it for university and also took it on a school tripit was the perfect size for the airport and fits a lot of things. My laptop fits perfectly, along with some clothes, a water bottle, and there are even small pockets for my Kindle. It's super nice. I did a huge haul and reviewed a lot of different brands and sizes, and this one really stood out. I love it so much I even want to buy another one for my boyfriend!

this is a very good product. I got this backpack when I was in 5th grade all the way until 8th grade it held up pretty nice.
