Stylish!

My son loves his new backpack. Fits his computer and all his school gear- and is super comfortable.

This really is a great backpack. The pockets and compartments are so useful and the large compartment is perfect for a laptop. There is a front mesh pouch that seems a little looser than it might but this is otherwise a great backpack.

Great backpack for college, as it can carry everything from my laptop to my texts books and pens and pencils. Not to mention how comfortable it is. I walk almost 2 miles daily for classes and I sometimes forget I have my backpack on. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a lasting college backpack.

I bought it for my grandson for when he was returning to college. He said it was perfect.

Bought this for my high school son. He loves it. It is designed so well. The padding for the laptop storage is perfect. It has plenty of pockets and other areas for storage for all the things needed. The straps are very padded and comfortable. It is large and spacious. It is a very high quality and worth the money.

I love everything about this backpack. Perfect amount of compartments, the handle is in the optimal place to balance everything, very comfortable to wear, and it looks nice too.

Great bag

I got this for my son who is a senior in HS with the hopes that it would be good next year too for college. It is really nice! Lots of compartments. Love the grey/black color combination. I'm pretty sure it will be perfect for next year too.

Great backpack! Using it for an upcoming trip to Glacier National Park.

This is the 3rd North Face backpack I have bought for my school children and this one is by far the best. They enhanced the side pockets (which holds a thermos) with a super strong material that is durable and prevents tearing. The backpack has a ton of compartments, is sturdy, comfortable and perfect for school! I will probably upgrade the other two backpacks at some point and buy this one.

I've only had it for a couple weeks but so far it is working well for school.

No lockers at school this year. Recon allows me to be comfortable wearing my full backpack all day. Holds a ton and looks good too!

A little small but good for small trips

I use it for dragging my study gadgets/books to and from school. It seems fairly durable. It's slim even when I have it fairly stuffed. The only thing I found odd was that instead of one large compartment with a divider inside to protect tablets/laptops, it has two separate compartments. One is padded for the devices. The other is decently sized but not as big as in my old backpack. It also sometimes falls forward randomly when I lean it against a wall, but that's no big issue.

I got this backpack for college. I love it. The color is exactly what I wanted and it's well made. It's still stiff and I am unsure how much it'll loosen. It's great to carry a laptop in and holds everything I need. The only flaw is it is stiff still after a couple months, but overall I love my backpack!

Lots of storage and good quality.

I bought this backpack for school. Compared to other backpacks I have tried, this one is much better because it is not clunky and has a simple design that is visually appealing. The backpack is light and has lots of space for storage. The only thing I didn't like was having to choose between the black and navy color because I liked them both.

Things that Great, confortable and durable backpack. The best option in backpack to travel. They are incredibly spacius and have an approprieate place for everything.

Amazing and really sturdy bag..can be used for college or hiking .Has a lot of space in it & I love the fact that it doesn't look bulky like most backpacks ! This is the 2nd one I've gotten coz it's great value for money

This replaced my last recon which is 20 years old! Best designed backpack.
