I bought this bag for business travel and it has been amazing! Great size and storage with tons of pockets to sort your gear. Feels well build and the zippers are heavy duty. Great upgrade and I look forward to many years of use.

Love this backpack! Can fit so much in it and is easy to carry

Urban Backpack. I use this pack to commute to work. I'm an architect so I carry a 16" Apple Laptop, an 11" Ipad, drawing supplies, an accessorry bag (cords/chargers) along with a measuring tape, a few rulers and some sketch books. I have to say, this is a great pack. What makes it nice is that it holds everything I need plus I have plenty of extra room. I could probably pack an night's clothes & toiletries on top of my daily stuff. I like that it remains compact when it's not fully loaded. A lot of bags that are big, stay big when they are not loaded. The waterbottle pockets (2) are deep and hold your bottle secure. I think my only complaint is that the shoulder straps aren't very cushioned. I have a Recon from 2008 and it has much thicker shoulder straps that are good for cushioning your shoulders. Overall, it's a great pack and even with the thinner shoulder straps, I'm not dissatisfied. Keep up the good work NorthFace! I'll buy another in about 15 years when I get tired of this one.. :-)

Loved the laptop compartment as it fits the M1/M2 Macbook Pro 16 inch prfectly. The pocket is suspended, the laptop won't come in contact with the bottom of the backpack. You won't have to worry about your laptop touching when you put the backpack in concrete/hard surface.

best backpack in the game. ive been using surges for over 8 years now. im on my second. the first one kept trucking. amazing product. honestly could have kept going w it but decided to get a new one. the new one is awesome.

Not too big not to small. Great pockers for storing big and small things. I can fit my laptop and still have plenty of room for large items, plus small pockets for easy access. Solid handle for when I travel and am hauling the pack on airplanes. Fits nicely under the seat even when stuffed full. Great color too!

Great product

I recently bought this bag as my daily driver to college, camping, gym and what not! It's been an amazing companion to me wherever I go! The zippers are high quality and the number of pouches in the bag are insane, I am able to organize all my stuff so easily! And the best part is, that it has an inbuilt whistle in its buckle on the strap(which I myself wasn't aware about) but it's just fun to use it sometimes! I would surely recommend this product to everyone
