My granddaughter will use it for travel this summer and school in fall. She loves it.

I use this daily for school. Holds everything with room to spare. Headed off to college soon - bought this in anticipation of heavy use. Love the color, weight, fabric.everything!

I asked my grandniece what she wanted for her high school graduation and this is what she requested. I'm quite sure that it will last throughout college. Looks to be a quality piece, as usual with all things North Face! Like that it came in a women's addition, so it will be a more comfortable backpack for her. Very happy with everything I buy from North Face.

Bought it for a trip and was the perfect carryon. Held my laptop nicely and the section with all the pockets was great for tech accessories and cleaning products. The main pocket holds all of my other needs nicely as well and the compression on the water bottle pockets is a nice touch. Another great North Face purchase!

The bag is sturdy and of good quality. The colors are vibrant as shown in the picture. When filled partially, the items bunch up at the top however and the weight distribution can be uneven. No complaints otherwise. I was able to fit two 13' laptops in the back compartment.

If you don't have items that are close to the bottom of the bag, the bag will not stand and might tip over even if it is resting against something.I was able to fit 2 13 inch laptops in the laptop compartment. I can also fit a whole puffer jacket in the outer bands of the bag.

Wish it had enough space to hold multiple textbooks and a laptop.

The violet is purple not pinkish like the picture. It's pretty just not accurate. belly strap in not needed since i use it as a work bag so the ends just dangle.

I really like the variety of pockets on the bag. There's a separate laptop sleeve that's zippered and two side pockets to hold drinks/bottles. One thing I don't love about it is that if you use the smaller front half pocket then it limits you're ability to access things that are in the full size pocket right behind it. Not impossible but definitely feels clumsy.

Overall the backpack is good. The laptop sleeve being a separate zippered compartment is nice. And I like the side pockets to hold my water bottles. However, the main pockets are a little odd. If you use the small half pocket in the front then it limits how easily you can access things stored in the full size pocket right behind it. It's not impossible but makes things a little clumsy. Otherwise, I love the pack.

I use this product for work. It fits my 16" MacBook and my work iPad. I love that it has several different compartments which helps me keep things organized.

I use this for work. It's a terrible backpack. It doesn't stay on the shoulder if you carry on one shoulder. It never stands up if you set it down. Always tips over. I definitely would t buy.

Big and roomy for a large amount of items needed for todays student. Lightweight enough to keep it manageable.

Great Christmas gift for my niece. She asked for the backpack and when she unwrapped it she could not wait to load her nursing school stuff into it and get back to school.

I bought this to replace an older version of the borealis that had finally worn out. The backpack itself seems nice like it would hold up well, but it's just too different from the old one that I have and love that I wanted to replace. I don't like that there's just one giant pocket with no smaller pockets within it, and the pocket that does have more organization isn't a full pocket size. The "smallest" pocket at the front of the bag is way too large like everything inside would fall out when you open it. It's a nice bag, but the new version just isn't functional for what I need/want :(

Absolute garbage backpack and the customer service to help us replace / repair this was horrendous also. Do not buy and steer clear of north face. They clearly do not care about their customers or the quality of their products.
