It was gift for my daughter who is in college. It was everything she wanted and more! Very well made and really durable. Nice looking backpack!

This was a wonderful purchase. I was initially hesitant to order for my 16 yr. old daughter because of the high cost, but completely worth it. She has to bring her laptop to school each day and it is well protected in the compartment, specially designed for mobile devices. Will continue to buy North Face products in the future for the quality and reliability!

My Freshman daughter LOOOVED this backpack. She holds a lot of stuff for school and her other good quality bags eventually start ripping at the seams or start hurting her back due to the weight. This Backpack is EVERYTHING and sooo pretty! She loooved it.

I purchased the backpack as a gift. The backpack seems durable and it will be used by a high school student to carry books. Actual durability can't be assessed until it has "miles" on it. The backpack was chosen for the design/pattern.

I use this for college-my laptop and books and ever I need for classes. It is very sturdy, lightweight and I love the colors.

Great backpack! Comfortable to wear, nice color, and durable material. I love the accordion feature where the bag can be smaller (condensed size) and then expand with the straps for when you are carrying a larger load. I intend to use the bag for travel with occasional hiking use, so having the iPad and computer compartments will be helpful as well.

This is our fourth Borealis. Each of my kids have one for school and I have 1 for recreation and 1 I use for work. They are great bags that hold up and have plenty of space and pockets to organize everything.
