The boots were initially tight,until i wore them for about two hours, then they loosened up. You can feel the composite toe material towards the front of the boot,however they are flexible and not as rigid as a steel toe boot.

The boots rubbed my ankles with blisters. I wore higher socks and tied the boots tighter, but they still rubbed my right ankle.

With the in soles from Zappos these are great.

So far good with fit and wear.

Fit and width were fine, little to no arch support. Really starts to hurt your feet after a few hours. Arrived with a few nicks in the leather, one deep enough to see the composite toe poking through. Otherwise quality and fit are solid.

Heavy and uncomfortable but protective

I’ve purchased two pairs of this shoe in the past. My first pair split at the medial arch (the curved area behind the big toe): the leather detached from the outer sole. This was after over a year of wear and I was generally satisfied with the quality of the boot. The boot fit well. Isn’t overly hot during the summer. Relatively water resistant after some time of use. The outer sole hadn’t worn much. The inner sole is rather thin and began to erode from sand particles depositing in the ventilation holes. Seemed somewhat normal. Biggest gripe with any work boot is when the fabric at the heel, inside wears. I was impressed that the inside of the boot heals up so well and relatively little wear to the outer sole. I purchased a second pair and four months in both outer soles split deeply width wise. I wasn’t too pleased with this. I contacted Timberland and didn’t receive a fair response. I contacted a rep with Zappos and shared some photos of the defects. They were very helpful and promptly honored a warranty even though the boots were a month out from the purchase time. I rated these based on comparisons of the first pair of Timberlands, the second pair and experience of how Timberland responded to my issue/warranty they claim to have. I inspect the new pair daily. I hope they will last as long as the first pair. If not I’ll look to purchase from a different boot company. But as far as Zappos is concerned I can say I’m very satisfied with how they covered me as a customer and highly recommend them to friends and associates. I’ll be looking to purchase from them more often, on a regular basis.

These are the cutest timberlands I've owned but it needed a bigger size just a half size, since I worn the shoes I couldn't return but I wear them if necessary but they are painful. More of 4h wear and thats it

They look nice and the soles are super comfy just need to order half a size larger. (I'm a 9.5w ordering a 10w)

Other than the previous selected review, the boots felt durable. Wished it came double wide.

10m Run narrower & smaller than nicer/slightly pricier Ariats. Look nice & might have gone Wide &/or +.5 up in size but I think I’ll pivot to something else. Had selected for wicking + composite toe in hiking workbook.

Loved these but I have a high instep and the composite toe dug into my instep.
