These shoes are super cute and oh so very easy to get on and off. My son has quite wide feet though, so I had to order a size up. I really wish they would make these in extra wide so that they could be used with orthotics.

They ripped at the front zipper within less than 3 weeks.

I ordered the new WDR high tops for my daughter with ankle foot orthodics. The wider width made putting on her shoes with her AFOs so much easier. Love the color selection. Thank you Billy Shoes and Zappos for great customer service! LuAnn B.

These shoes were perfect, I finally found shoes that fit (wide enough) and he loves them because he can put them on himself. 3rd grade with down syndrome. The only thing I wish for is more styles. We are getting every color for boys!

My son uses AFOs and these fit well. We had normal width last time but going wider when he upsized was a good choice. They’re not too wide so they stay on. We love the zipper open/close, which means he gets them on and off independently.

Billy’s are the best! Super cute, come in tons of different patterns and colors, and are super comfortable. Amazing for kids just learning to tie their shoes, as they have shoelaces and zippers—how many times are we in a rush to get out the door and just don’t have time to wait for child to slowly tie their shoes… just zip and you’re out the door! I think we have (at least?!) 5 pairs of these between myself (mom) and my 2 kids. Love them!

Fits well for my daughter with wide thicker feet! The zipper kind of sticks. It could be better, but I am keeping them.

The shoe itself is great with my AFO’s…..but size wise, they feel a size larger than what was ordered….but I LOVE the zipper opening. It makes putting on my AFO’s so much easier!!! Thank you Billie Shoes!

Shoes fit over my daughter's AFOs. I could have went with the medium width but was worried that they would not have fit over her AFOs. The shoes may get loser as the fabric stretches more from wearing. Glad you have these type of shoes available and hope that you will have more of the low cut tennis shoes for spring and summertime.

These were purchased for my 3 year-old foster son who wears braces. I was having a very difficult time finding a fit that he was comfortable with. I ordered 4 pairs of shoes with no success and was going to try a different store. I called and talked in great lengths with a woman that was so helpful and patient and made me laugh. She helped me find these shoes and they have made all the difference to my little guy. Thank you

My daughter wears ankle high orthotics and Billy's make getting her shoes on her Soooo much easier! And, she loves red and these are a great color!

My handicapped child wears these because they are so easy to put on.

My son loves these because they are red! They did not come in a size 4 so I went for a 5 and it worked. I usually have to go up a few sizes with shoes I buy because he has a very wide foot (club foot). They are so easy to get on and off!!! Wish I had known about these years ago. We had custom shoes made, but they did not last, and looked terrible. The toe box could be higher for our needs, but seems to work ok. I would love to find a pair in leather so he can wear them when riding his horse.

My son has very wide and fat feet and this went on perfectly without any trouble. I have a very hard time finding shoes to fit his feet and they worked great!

Shoes were great quality, and design. I purchased them so my son could wear them over his AFO's and they were not wide enough for that. I didn't want to go a size up because then they would have been too long for him to walk in. I would love to see these in an EXTRA WIDE size. Fabric was great. Color was great. AFO's fit inside them with no problem. Zipper didn't go all the way around to close them properly. I tried to loosen the shoe strings, and that didn't help.

Shoes were too narrow for AFO'S. Needed to be about half a size wider.

Great looking alternative to high top sneakers, especially for teens who don't want to wear an uncomfortable dress shoe. My son didn't need the adaptive tech of the zipper but it added a little style and cool factor to them. Definitely run a bit on the large side.

I love these shoes, but I wish they were made better. We still struggle to get the zipper up over my son’s DAFOs. Our son’s last pair ended with holes in the soles within only a few weeks. I also wish there more styles in the WDR. Still, love the design and color.

I ordered these for my daughter. She wears foot braces and hasn't mastered tying shoes yet. I'm glad I got the wide width as I still have to have the laces loosened pretty much all the way to get them zipped. The size 2 seems like a good length for her tho. I would be afraid a 3 would give her duck feet to trip over. They look pretty cute, I like the mid rise style. I ordered the all black ones to kind of camouflage the zipper. It would be cute if they had options with stripes or some kind of little design on the side instead of just solids and full pattern prints. I did change the laces out with some hot pink ones to add a little pizazz. She hasn't had a chance to wear them much, but she can zip them on and off by herself and that is the most important thing!
