I started wearing them in June of 2025 and when I tripped on the level floor today (November 2025) I see that the soul is pealing off.

Only complaint I have about these boots is that they make my feet sweat and cause blisters. But a good pair of Darn Tough socks removes any such issues I had. Comfort of the boots sweat/blisters aside, these are very comfortable on smooth concrete and never had any foot pain. I did replace the insoles immediately upon receiving these boots because I felt concern on how thin insoles looked, so take what I say with a grain of salt. The toolbox is actually wide enough for my feet which I was surprised at and I greatly enjoyed how they felt. My only complaint about the boots is durability, the midsole and outsole of the boots still feel great, midsole is a bit chewed up, while the outsole looks brand new. And the upper mesh part of the boot is all ripped up with a hole between the sole and mesh all the way through and large enough to poke my thumb through. This odd hole is on both boots in the same spot so I don't think this damage was caused my general wear and tear but maybe a partial failure in the boot where the seam is. Not entirely sure. The boots still fit well and are comfy, definitely no chance at being waterproof now with the holes, but they did last me about a year and I can still use them as is. I am considering going for a leather model from the Keen brand as my hope is the toe box and comfort will be the same, just that the leather will hold up better than mesh.

These are very comfortable all day wearing shoes. This is my 3rd or 4th pair over the years. They wear well and have more room in the toe area than other safety toe shoes I have worn. Good buy.

I work in EMS and have 12 hour shifts, these boots help keep my feet comfortable all day. They look like a boot but feel like a sneaker. I do wish they made a version without a protective toe but it's not a big deal. I'll be buying these again.

The entire shoe itself, not terrible, maybe 3/5. The problem is the heel support, the seam where the shoe transitions from a low top shoe to a high top shoe, is very present and protruding inside the shoe, it rubs up against your achilles during the slightest bit of movement, I wore it for 2 days and have never had such a bad experience with shoes before, and for over $100, its unbelievable this even passed the testing phase.

Fits great, comfortable, breathable which is especially nice in Arizona summer, but the mesh tore wear the toe box bends and the sole is peeling off at the heel.

My feet were constantly sweaty and stinky after working 12hrs shifts. These boots are heavy. The mesh on top of the toe had tore with in the first week. Walking on them may have caused me back pain. Not worth it.

The only shoes more uncomfortable than these are old school vans, yet they both share the same problem. The majority of the shoe is actually great, it's well insulated and keeps my toes warm, but the part behind your achilles tendon almost seems like its designed to insure you. Almost every step or adjustment I make while standing up, it digs into the back of my foot unbearably. Worn these shoes for one day and I'm absolutely returning them, I don't know how anyone can wear these shoes.

I thought getting keen work boots would be a good choice as i love my hiking boots from keen and they are very comfortable. These work boots I purchased however, I have blisters so bad from them it continues to hurt even with applying mole skin padding to my heels.

Ok super comfortable and light. I am a residential remodeling contractor so I am not super easy on footwear but after 3 months the toe cap has separated on one and starting to on the other. I have also owned 2 pairs of Red Hooks,Cincinnatis so I am a fan of the brand but a little disappointed

Works like a boot but fits like a shoe! Carbon fiber toe is great for work and its breathable for those hot summer days! Love this shoe! Would recommend ordering a half size larger if you decide to go with the hard toe.

So much to love about this boot. Old guys who remember the Nike Lavadome will concur. Here's what's great: Breathability - five stars; Ankle support - 5 stars for a light weight boot; Sole - great traction and not made of a slippery compound. Here's what Keen needs to improve to make them 5 stars all a round: 1) Improve midsole cushioning. Que Saucony Exodus series for reference here . Go ahead and add two or four ounces per pair, it'll make this boot unbelievable, and retain cushioning when the sole's half worn. 2) The meshy fabric, although key, is the failure point just below the lacing system, at the flex point of the boot. No surprise there, and I think not much of the breathable mesh would be sacrificed if covered with a lasting material there, and possibly over the carbon toe since that doesn't breathe anyway. So close to perfection in a light weight summer boot!
