I was really hopeful that these were going to be good. I've been on a seemingly endless search for good slippers with decent support in them. While these have a lot of support, they were disappointing. The shoe runs small for starters. I usually wear a 39 in most clogs/brands of clogs and slides and I needed a 40 in these for the arch to be in the right spot. There was also something off with the arch of these that caused shooting pain in my feet with every step. Also, the wool part, while soft, was too tight around the foot causing them to feel extremely small. Back to the search...

Great house slipper. The insole is thicker than average so the shoe felt tight. The shoes feel true to size, but unless you have narrow feet and don't wear socks with slippers, then I recommend going a size up. I have a lightly worn pair of SuperFeet Carbon insoles so I swapped them out and now I love the shoes. If I didn't have the SuperFeet insoles I would have returned them for a size up. I have flat feet and back issues, so far I don't feel pain with these slippers after two days of working from home with them on. I use a fatigue matt when I stand. The wool is very warm so I don't see myself wearing these in summer months.

I compare these to Birkenstocks that also mold to your foot over time. When I first purchased them, they felt snug against my foot like a nice warm hug. After a month the soles have molded to my feet and the upper has stretched. The warm hug from that wooly upper is gone. It's more like a marriage now. The love is strong but the distance is real.

These slippers are unbelievable! They look great, they're very cozy, I can wear them outdoors too, even on wet surfaces, and mainly, they're the only shoes I've found that are actually supportive enough for my chronic Achilles tendon issues. I love them so much. Worthy every penny!

Size up!!! The 40s are just right. I normally take a 39 (one of my feet is more of an 8, the other close to an 8.5). I wouldn’t be able to wear thick socks with them, but thin socks or barefoot is perfect. They seem well made and worth the price, knock on wood.

I had originally really loved this slide. It is very comfortable, has great arch support, fits true to size, and keeps my feet at a good temperature inside the house even in the winter. I have worn it around/inside the house only (never outside) for almost 4 months. I noticed after about 2 months that the wool was shedding. Yesterday, I discovered a large hole in the wool of the right slide about where one of my foot bones is. I assume the bone rubbing against the wool created the hole. I can feel another spot further up that has worn quite thin as well and will likely develop a hole soon. For the price of the slide, I would not have expected a hole to develop after 4 months of wear. I have worn Sanita clogs since the early 2000s and their clogs hold up for years even with frequent wear. I am disappointed in these slides.

My husband said I spent a little more then he would have on house slippers but says it’s soooooo worth the extra few bucks! These are breathable, his feet don’t sweat inside these comfy slippers which is what he’s been looking to get for years. The bed feels very natural and doesn’t have fuzzy faux lining inside the bed which makes feet sweat, very happy with the purchase!

really great slipper- very frustrated that it ran a full size to small. I wear a women's 12/12.5 so I ordered a size 43 like I normally would in European sizing. It didn't fit. I've never had to order a size 44. now that I've got the right size, I love them! no more Haflinger slippers for me!

I'm 5' and weigh about 105 lbs, and my foot measures 5 1/2 D so I usually have to order a size 6. I tried the EU size 36 and they are super cute and fit perfectly - only I couldn't walk well in them. The heel on these, even once I straightened up the little lip, slipped off with every step. The slipper is just stiff enough that it went 'flap flap flap' when I walked. They are super when I stand still, actually perfect looking and just the look I wanted, but the flapping bothered me, and I want a slipper I can truly slip into fast without fixing anything. If you most of the time want a slipper to sit around the house in they would probably work. I tend to walk thousands of steps just around the house (and our house isn't big) and between the garage and house nearly every day. So sadly they are going back.

I ordered my regular size but is seemed wide and would not stay on my foot.

I love these woolen slippers. I took them out of the box and wore them and needed no breaking in. Great color -great arch support-Low enough to the ground that I don’t twist my ankles like I do in clogs. This is funny: Amazon sells them for $100 more. $244.!?!?!?

After TWELVE pairs of various clogs, mules, and slides I finally landed on these as my "house" shoes. They run small - I'm a true size 11 in most shoes, but had to get these in a 43. The footbed is very firm, but the arch support is great, though it will take some breaking in. The light grey felt is very pretty. After all my searching, I'm super happy to have found these!

Ordered one size larger than my foot size based on reviews. It was the right decision. Very happy.

AFTER I ordered the next size UP: the arch was In the right spot AND I the sole felt thicker (I guess that my foot is NOW lining up better). The next size up is JUST a tad too big, but with very thin Summer weight mesh socks they seem fine (or I might use those oval shape felt pads that shoe stores stick under top of shoe so you don't slip forward). YEAH, I finally found my 2nd pair of house slippers. Even though the arch support is great - I probably won't wear them ALL day. I'll problaby switch into my Stegman's which have a firmer sole. My foot: Narrow Heel, Wide toes - but "bony" feet, and High arch and High Instep. P.S.

I have now had these slides for 6 months. I bought them to accommodate me after a hip replacement.( easy to slip on and off) These are well made shoes, loved the denim color they are warm and I trust the Sanita brand. The problem is like most of their shoes they run a bit wide. By the first month of wearing they had stretched out so much that they became dangerous to wear, socks made them worse. So now I have a rather expensive pair of house shoes that I will have to donate. If you have wide feet these will probably work for you.

Love everything about them - the impeccable arch support, vibrant fuchsia color, quality materials and construction. I wear size 9 and the 9/EU40 fits like a glove without socks. If I wanted to wear bulky socks, I’d size up.

I bought the 45 (11) and thought they were too big so I ordered a 44. (10) and they were too small so I kept the 11 size these are some fine shoes well made and the support is awesome I have tried a few different brands and these are the top ones in my opinion.Zappos Customer Service can’t be beat Awesome Comapny that stands behind the products they sell

I bought these shoes because of ankle issues arising from flat feet. They prevent my feet from over pronating which has been helpful. I'm wearing these as "inside shoes" but they are also worn while going to the mailbox and household chores. surprisingly comfortable!

I wore these as house slippers all winter. I loved them so much I bought a second pair to keep at our second home! I usually wear a women's 11.5 to 12, and the 44 fit me perfectly. The upper was a little snug when I first started wearing them, but they stretched just a tad and now fit like a glove. And they have excellent arch support. As I said, I wore them all winter, including while working from home, and I never missed my orthotics. I only walked in and around the house, so I can't say I wouldn't miss the orthotics if I walked miles in these shoes, but they're super comfortable for all day wear at home or in the office.

I ordered a full size up and they are perfect. Super comfortable with great arch support.

Super comfy house slipper. Although they are wool, they are airy and my feet don't sweat in them. The insole is cork and quite thick, it needs a little breaking in as it has solid arch support. Looks like the insole can be removed if you need a slimmer one for a larger foot. I've seen some reviews claiming that the Sanita Lodge Slide felt narrow, this was not the case for me. The fit is neither narrow nor wide, just a standard medium width. While the sole looks outdoors-friendly, I'll be using these exclusively as my comfy inside slippers. I like the rubber soles as I often wear my slippers into the garage. Very happy with this purchase.

For house shoes these are truly great if you are looking for arch support. They are not cheap but if you have problematic feet like me these are worth the money. Have not ever seen any house slippers that offer arch support so really had to try them. Actually ordered another pair to have for later. I'm shoe size 10 and have wide feet and they fit well. My feet are slender so for more 'compact' feet may be a little tighter in the shoe box. Wear them with carbon inserts so they won't get smelly when worn barefoot.....

Super comfortable with just enough arch support. Wool is not itchy like the Taos Wool-Do. I love these!
