I bought this jacket for my son and he loves it! It's lightweight and perfect for the ever changing weather the Pacific Northwest has to offer. It's rain proof, wind proof /and keeps my little one warm without having him become too sweaty like other jackets. I highly recommend it as this brand was my favorite when we used to live in the Midwest.

Bought this jacket again after 2 years in the larger size for the oldest kid. The old one being passed to the younger one this year. This is such a great coat. It's so soft like silk I never have to convince my kids to wear them. They love them. They are ver light weight and well made. Very happy with my purchases over the years.

This jacket isn't heavy or bulky at all. However my 10 year old says it still keeps him warm. He also likes the bright red color.

This was the second purchase of this jacket. I purchased this jacket two years ago for each of my three grandchildren. The youngest wore his until it was too small. It's great for traveling, yet warm enough for playing and wearing to school. These jackets wash well and are a great investment! One that had been his sisters was just passed down to a friend. It still looked like new. I would, however, recommend a heavier, warmer jacket for playing out in the snow. I just purchased another LL Bean jacket for just this reason as well.

Love these for the grandkids. Have 5 grandsons ages 1-5 and each of them have one of these jackets. They are so lightweight but keeps them warm. They are thin enough to feel like their safety in a car seat isn't compromised by wearing the jacket. The hood covers their big heads well without hindering their vision. We bought them one size up so they can wear them for a couple of years. Definitely recommend these!

I bought this for my granddaughter. It's the only jacket that she really likes and wears without complaining. It's very light and soft and yet warm. It's a great product.
