It said they ran big to size down. Regret doing that. My toes touch the end. Yes they were hard to get on my feet. Very hard so I added some lard and my foot slipped in. Just kidding about the lard. A lot of wiggling of my feet and my feet were in. They are very comfy and great in mud and rain. I always wanted a pair of these and the sale made it possible. Just need to cut my big toes off so they don't touch.

A Must Have Staple in your wardrobe. I couldn't but buy them. They go with everything I wear

My neighbor taught me that you can avoid the dreaded bend of the laces hurting your ankles, by when you lace up your boots in the traditional manner, but at the second eyelet hole, pull your lace straight up to the third eyelet then cross your laces as usual. At the Second eyelet is where your ankle bends when you walk in your boots. My neighbor was in the Army and they laced their boots that way to not to have sore ankles while walking. I take a 6 1/2 , the 6 was plenty of room with socks. Love the price.

Used the sizing information and these fit exactly. I haven't been able to test them out yet but I expect the quality will be top notch

I bought these boots 3 years ago but at the time did nit wear them much because they hurt my feet. The leather tongue bent and was stiff digging into my feet and the leather on the ankles creased digging into my legs. Over time they broke in, flattened out and got more soft and supple. It took a long time but it was worth it. They have been my best boots and really comfortable for the past few years. I leave them by my front door and just slip them on barefoot whenever I take the dog out.

I own a booth that made in Maine yipeee!. Nice booth, u think thats hard to wear but its not(comfortable) . I shld order the insulated one for winter days

Great boot one of the few boots that come in a narrow width. I have other styles as well all because LL Bean is the only ducker style that comes in a narrow width

I have purchased many products from L.L.Bean. This is my wife's 1st pair of Bean boots. She loves the comfort & fit. This item was on sale and was an excellent buy for the price & quality.

I'm only leaving this review since I'm investigating how to resole my 30 year old duck boots that are still perfect in the rain or snow! I've had these boots since college in MA and they still keep my feet warm and dry, and are in GREAT shape. Take it from me that these boots really do last a lifetime. Mahalo LLBean!

I don't know why I decided to get these lol when I have over 15 pr of LLB boots! The price was great so I decided to go for it... but....they only had a N width in my size and color that I wanted. I took a chance, and got a size 10N, and Wow! They fit great w/light sox! My norm size is 11M or 10 1/2W. It's always hit and miss w/Bean boots as to the size tho I've found a 10M fits me the best w/room in the boot to have heavier sox on. Or to put 2 pr of sox on.The N fits great w/light sox, which I will wear this summer. They were a tad hard to get on but I know the leather will stretch over time. I also found using a piece of wax paper over the bottom of your sox, to slide your foot in, helps if you have a hard time doing so. The leather gives more in time and I know they will be fine shortly. I'm wearing them in the house now to break them in for summer. I've had my 1st pr of LLB boots now for over 25 yr. These are made very well, and the workmanship is still there on their LLB Boots. They're the only boots in my closet!

I wish all my shoes were this comfortable. 10/10!!

I got these boots for walks in the woods. I also wore them for touring around London in the rainy winter. I've never had a pair of shoes that my feet were still comfortable in after a long day of walking until these! My feet stay comfy and dry all day long.

Love these boots so much. I buy the beautiful special ones that are different from the every day ones like the red hearts one a few years ago and blue ones this year because they are all quality and I like being a bit different than every pair I see around. These are the best boots ever

Loved the iconic look of these. 8 inch is very supportive on the ankle when laced and tied appropriately. After the 3 feet of snow that feels over the past 5 days, these boots are exactly what I needed to keep moving. They are VERY stiff when they first arrive. Take a towel and repeatedly work in some boot protection to soften them up.

Always a winner in this house, my previous pair were over 30 years old, a hand me down from a cousin. This pair was like slipping on a pair of old slippers. Still exceptionally made, light weight yet sturdy, my go to for dog walks, fencing checks, fall fishing excursions and just running errands in a wet or snowy day.

Best boots all around! Perfect fit, roomy enough for thick wool socks. Great for PA weather!

After reading a review that a lady with foot isdues like mine found them delightfully comfortable. I thought i would finally try a pair. Oh, they are heavenly! I bought a full size down. Very good with a wide variety of my socks.
