I ordered a size down and they are still to big. I went down a size in the regular bean boots and they fit perfect. With these Mocs, I tightened the laces as tight as I could and put on my thickest bean wool socks and they still are too big. The right moc is noticeably bigger in the toe box on my foot than the left. There is a thumb width between my toe and end of shoe, which is good for me, but they flop off the back of my heel. Not sure what to think about that. They are cute and I wanted something to slip on and off easily, so I'll try them and hope they work.

I wear an 8 in normal shoes. I ordered an 8 M in the Mocs. I will need to send them back. They are too big and too wide.

Love these shoes so much I have bought 2 pair! My only issue is the laces. They will not stay tied which is annoying

I originally ordered a size 9, I am usually a 9.5. The 9 was too big so I got a size 8 and they fit great with thick socks. I walk dogs so I bought them for my rainy day walks, I am so glad I bought them.

I ordered a 9 but was to big so got the eight but decided they were to heavy of a boot and still a little to big. I really liked the boot but just wasn't sure they would work for me.

love this moc. very well made in Maine USA!!!!! They do run large. Perhaps a heavy sock would solve this. I wear a 10 and ordered a 10. Runs about a 1/2 size larger. Heel area is wide. Had a pair of these that lasted YEARS!!! The quality of these suggests that these will also.

I have purchased other brand rain shoes and they were not really waterproof. These are totally waterproof. I wear a 10 shoe and purchased a 9 based on the sizing recommendations. I have a narrow foot and was so excited to find a rain show that came in narrow. The length of the 9 is perfect but heel was slipping out even with socks. I did buy some heel inserts and that helps, still a little slippage I will look for better inserts. Decided to keep since they are waterproof and probably the best fit given my very narrow foot.

I wish they came in half sizes. I usually wear a 6.5 and after reading the reviews I ordered both a 5M and a 6M. The 6 is a little long and the 5 just fits, to the point that wearing thin socks would be my only option. A 5.5 would be perfect, I think. I was thinking of trying the 5 wide but was disappointed to see that option is not available. I will just keep the size 6 pair and do with thicker socks. Other than the difficult sizing, I do love the style and they are super comfy. Just what I need during this RAINY spring so I can give my dog a proper walk in the woods without putting on my taller Bean boots!

These boots seemed to be good quality, but were MUCH too wide for my narrow foot. Definitely not a narrow width. Had to return them.

I was so disappointed that these were so big. I ordered a size 8 as I usually wear a size 9, they were huge on me. When I called for assistance in an exchange I was told it would be best to go by the reviews posted on your website. I did not exchange, just returned for refund. Disappointed as it took me a long time to decide to spend that much on cute rain boots. I rated 4 stars because they are a great quality.

I like the idea of a narrow boot as they are so hard to find. The only issue I have is that I don't think it is truly narrow. I need to wear thick socks so they don't slide off my foot. They are waterproof and worked good in slushy snow.

Love them. They are a bit big, but slip on clogs are supposed to be a bit big to let you foot stretch out. I did order both a 6 and a 7 but choose to keep the bigger size. You can tighten the laces to make them a little tighter on your foot. Perfect for slipping on quick and running around in wet weather. My Maine hunting boots are still my favorite though :)

Love the boots.Only problem is I ordered my usual 7 wide. Too Big. Returned for the 7 medium. Now width okay, but actual boot wayyy to big. I don't know what to do? Send back? Or return for a 6.5? 6? Other than that great product. Wish I could figure out what to do :(

I really liked the Boots. They just didn't fit. I ordered a whole size down to a sz 7. (Normally I take a sz 8). tThe sz seven was too big. You don't make sz 6.5, Which is what I needed. I ordered the sz 6, but too small. So, i sent them back.

I'd been wanting some of these shoes for a long time and when I saw the wide sizes advertised, I went ahead and ordered a size down as directed. My shoes fit in the width, but my heel kept sliding out when I walked. I inserted a couple of additional inserts which helped with the fit. I don't think I could wear them all day, but to run to the store, etc. they should be good. I love that I can slip them on and off and keep my feet warm and dry.

My second pair (due to the new puppy using one of my old boots for a chew toy!) Best boots for any outdoor activity (aside from lots of snow). When I bought my first pair, there was an option for a fleece lined pair; wished I'd have gotten those as they no longer are an option :(

It would be nice if you had half sizes. 8 is too big...even with thick socks. 7 is too small with thick socks. Half size would have been perfect!

I like the rain shoes, but regret not buying the 6 inch boots instead. The shoes are still big despite wearing thick socks and buying a size down. They are hard to tie because of the single rawhide lace that goes all the way around the shoe. I think the difficulties I am experiencing would be eliminated if I had the boots. I wish I could exchange them now, but I had to wear them a couple of times already.

Extremely pleased with the service experience at LLBean. Product availability was superb and shipping was what I expected. The con is that size that was ordered and the next size up were both to big or better said left space in the heel which created a slippery affect. Maybe it was just batch of shoe perhaps something would be available down the road. Thanks for the great service!!!

As recommended I ordered one full size down and can still wear these shoes with heavy socks. I agree with others that the heel is very wide. I added a heel strip to the shoes and that seems to be working. They do what I wanted in the shoe (slip on and off easily so they can live in the garage with all the mud they bring in, and waterproof).

The fit was good -I noted that they ran big, and ordered a size down from what I usually wear. Not enough arch support, but with an insert, these will be great for winter and spring.

Very nice boots and well made. Although I rated these true to size, which they were, the heel area runs to loose. My heel would slip even withh a heavier sock. I read the reviews but figured I mite be able to work with it. Sadly even if I tightened the lace from the sides there was to much movement. I loved them but somehow they need to be made narrower in the heel area. Had to return.

Bought size 8D as I normally wear size 8.5D. WAY too large, had to return pair for size 7D, as suggested by customer service rep. It should be clearly and repeatedly stated online that customer needs to buy 1.5 sizes smaller than usual. I question why isn't this product sized appropriately to actual sizes. I like the boots, particularly in wet weather.

I had read that they run large so I bought a full size down (I wear an 8, bought a 7) and I am very glad I did. The length is good but the heel was very wide. After playing around with the laces my heel fits better. They are easy to slip on and off, just what I was looking for!

I have been wanting a pair of these Mocs...finally ordered. I should have read the information more carefully. They run waaaaay big! I wear a 10 and ended up with an 8. But so worth it. Quality made and long lasting!!!
