Great for walking in wet grass with my dog but not as good as the first pair I owned!

I ordered my usual size 6 but these run very large (made to be worn with the thickest winter socks I presume) so I returned them. If they'd been offered in a 5.5 or maybe even a 5 I would have reordered. Otherwise they are beautifully made and would have been fun to wear.

These are great- warm, waterproof etc but the sizing is completely crazy. I have to size down 2x whole sizes from my normal size.

The narrow is not a true narrow, but is better than nothing.

How many times and sizes do I have to get charged for shoes made more than a full size too big. I wear a 71/2 so I ordered size 8. They were so big! Now I received a size 7 and they feel a full size too big again. Do I take a chance and return the size 7 and go for a 6?

I'm not sure if I will like the way the boots tie above the "tongue" of the boots. The width seems loose that way but may be comfortable when I can start wearing them in the cooler weather.

I bought one size smaller that was recommended. But they were still to big. I recommend a size and half smaller if that's possible. I put an insole in to help. I think they have good traction and are nice rubber shoe. I use outside in the garden etc. I was slipping on the grass in a different rubber shoe and you don't slip with this one. That's what I wanted. Except for the size the only other complaint is my heel moves up and down in walking. Not sure if that is because its a bit big. But it is a good quality rubber shoe.

Bean boots are a great product except for the sizing. I'm normally an 8.5. I ordered an 8 as recommended and wear heavy socks under them. But even the 8 is too large and too wide. I'll have to return for a smaller size but they still may be too big. If they could come in widths that might help. The toe box is good but the heel is very wide.

I love these shoes so much. Not my first pair of bean boots. However, they are my first pair of moc's. They are a bit big. I normally wear them without socks and they slide off the back of my heel a bit. So when purchasing you may wanna go more narrow if you plan on wearing with only bare feet. I wish 1/2 sizes were available with these. But all in all they work and I like them.

I wear a 6.5 / 7 in a typical shoe, but the size 6 was too big and the 5 just that hair too small. Sadly both pair will be returned....

I bought these to wear on the beach in Maine in early April. They were perfect for that purpose. My feet stayed dry, even though I walked through multiple sections of pooled water at low tide. They do run large. I am normally 6-1/2 to 7 wide and ordered 6 wide. Even with heavy wool socks, they were still a bit long. All in all, they met the need. I had actually ordered a pair for my husband and daughter as well and we agreed they are the perfect shoe for a winter/early spring/fall beach walk.

I have a very narrow foot and have a hard time finding any boots in a narrow width. These come close, still a little loose for my foot, but they will be ok with heavier socks. I usually wear a size 10 shoe, but you said to order a size smaller, and they fit like a usual 10. Nice looking boots, seem to be well made. I haven't worn them very much yet, but the rainy season is here now.

I normally wear a 7 in running shoes and a 6.5 in regular shoes. I purchased the 6 and it was too large. I would of tried a 5 but it is unavailable in this color. Sadly I had to return.

Bought to replace my previous well used pair. Liked the color and fit but the leather shoe laces keep breaking on them, in a difficult place to repair. This keeps me from submitting 5 stars and I really would have put 3.5 if possible. As I write they are on the way back to LL Bean for repair or replacement after only wearing about 5 times. I could use them now so please hurry up and make this right. Good luck with yours

I buy LL Bean products often because of the quality, and the Rubber Moc is another example of fine quality. I usually wear a 6 or 6 1/2 in shoes, but the size 6 was way too large. In the size 5 in a mid-weight sock, my toe touches the end of the toe box which would become uncomfortable while working or walking before long. Even tied as tightly as I can make it, the heel slips pretty badly. I wish someone would make a rubber moc with a more narrow heel. I have had no success anywhere. Sketchers shoes fit me pretty well, and work pretty well with my neuropathy, but they don't make rubber mocs. I would LOVE it if LL Bean would address my shoe sizing issue!

The shoes are pretty colors and comfortable. They make me feel ready for spring rain and my feet stay dry.

Nice shoe for rainy weather, but I found them too large and also a bit heavy. Send mine back. I'm sure they'd be right for someone, though. Love the look of them. :)

Ordered these for my Wife. she has two other LLBean rubber-foot boots in same size which fit well. She also has shoes in various sizes 6 to 8, which fit. In these, the 6 was way too small & the 7 was way too big. We wonder if the size 7's were mismarked? Been wearing LLBean "duck boots" & shoes for decades.

I really like these mocs. I have had the boots for years and really like them. Yes, my heels come up in those, but because they're boots it's not a big deal. It's just a bit clunky. not so easy with these mocs though. My heel comes all the way out and unfortunately due to having a very high arch, I can't wear one size smaller as it presses on the top of my foot where the edge and tongue meet. I've decided to keep them though and will be trying insole inserts to avoid having to wear thicker socks all the time

this winter/fowl weather moc was for my wife. It was true to the LL Bean style and durability. the only issue for her was it was a little too loose in the heel which might not be an issue for another customer. Other than that the workman ship and quality were top notch.

I really wish they would make their mocs true to size. I am a 7 1/2, close to 8 in some brands, so I got the 7 and was swimming in them with triple, yes triple socks. So I thought the 6 would fit. Nope. My toe hit the top, so once again I have to return them. It's a shame. They are so well made and I really need a good mud shoe but there's not a size here to fit me.

I use Women's Bean Boot, Rubber Moc to walk my dog. So far they have kept my feet dry even though we traipse through grasses wet with dew. They are comfortable but they require heavy woolen socks in order to keep my heels in these shoes. I also plan to use them as gardening shoes--but since it's winter I have no idea how they will do. All in all, I am satisfied with using them for dog walking, gardening will be an extra bonus.

Although I love these I am going to have to return and hopefully exchange for a smaller size

It's a great boot No surprise there, but the nine was just a little bit too big, and 8 was too small. I opted to keep the size 9 and I just wear it with thick socks. I cannot wear it with short socks, or athletic socks, as the socks just get pulled down completely. The seam on the heel is not super comfortable, so I'm not upset that the shoe slides off my heel the way it does if I wear it barefoot.

Attractive and well made, I wear a 10M(B) shoe, ordered a 9M(B) which was perfect in length but too wide in the heel. Reordered a 9 Narrow(AA)- better but I was still walking out of the shoe. Sorry had to return.
