These are great for outdoor activities such as gardening (although I haven't tested them gardening, yet), and walking out to the mailbox in the slushy street etc. The new colors make it more exciting but I chose the more traditional blue and tan. It was a difficult decision! The only drawback about these is the large size of these which they are purposely made. I normally wear a size 6 1/2 and didn't see any size smaller than 6. I ordered the size 6 to wear with everyday socks and they are very big feeling but stay on my feet. I just hope they will not be slipping when I wear them without socks in the summer. It would be nice if these shoes could also be sized without socks for the purpose of gardening! Overall, these are very nice. And I was so glad to get them on sale! Thanks LLBean.

I have had hard to fit feet always and rarely buy shoes/boots that I haven't tried on first. However, I was pleased with the sizing advice that LL Bean provided and took a chance that these mocs would fit. They do, perfectly! The fit is ample to slip in and out of without being sloppy, and the support good enough that I don't use my orthodics in them. They are also lighter weight than other rubber mocs I have worn, and that was an unexpected bonus. I am very pleased with this product and anticipate using these mocs for a long time.

Ordered these in a size down, narrow width. The fit is perfect once I adjusted and tightened the laces. We got hit with our first big snow and ice storms in recent days and these were just the perfect shoes to wear. Warm with a thick wool sock and very very comfortable. Highly recommend.

I just went to the store yesterday to pick up these shoes. There were many different kinds I was looking at, but I was overall looking for something I could wear to school. These shoes are amazing and extremely comfortable. The lady at the store told me to order a size down then also told me they are meant to be worn with heavy socks. Best boots ever!

I ordered these for both my daughter and myself. And we both love them. They are excellent quality and value. However, since I am a 1/2 size, I ordered up a size ...and now have to exchange them. Recommend you add this caution to your information. Otherwise heartily recommend this product.

I have wanted a pair of these FOREVER!!! Finally, I broke down and got a pair. I have the 8" boots, but I wanted something that I could slip on and off and use in light rain and snow. The day after I received them, we got 2 inches of snow. I wore them ALL day long! They fit perfectly, which I had questioned buying an 8 when I wear a 9-1/2, and are SO comfortable!!! I'm looking forward to many years of wearing these!!!

It took me a few tries to get the right size because of how large these shoes run. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 and ended up keeping the size 6. The size 6 still offers a lot of extra room and width. I love my blue/tan shoes, and plan on ordering more when desired color becomes available.

This purchase was a repeat purchase ...I am replacing the boots that I bought years ago because the soles are worn smooth...and I need them for walking on slippery ground here on the farm. The old ones are fine, and I will wear them when I just need waterpproof shoes...They are in perfect condition except for the sole wear! I love them!

After watching the video, they are 100% correct in that you MUST ORDER AT LEAST1 SZ SMALLER I wear a 9, I ordered an 8 and they are still a little large. They feel better with thicker socks. They are very comfortable and look great.

I had a pair of these that lasted over 10 years - great for outside and at the barn - finally they died. And, after a while I got tired of every pair of shoes I had would pick up and track in dirt, mud and manure. I remembered when I had my first mocs - then I reordered a new pair and guess what? - I am not tracking that stuff in any more. Yes, Life is Good!!! I love the sole of these mocs. ---- Molly

these Mocs do the trick for keeping dry feet in rain and light snow. I wear them in California during rainy days and they help prevent slipping. And the best feature is that I can wear thick socks. And, my feet don't look huge in this shoe. Order a half size down at least because these shoes do run big. I wear a 9.5 and I fit well in a size 9 with a thick wool sock. great shoes for the price!

I got my first pair of these 10 years ago. I slip them on everytime I walk the dog and I wear them out if it is raining. They are great waterproof slipons. great for dog walking. I like separate dog walking shoes, so If I step in dog doo, no big deal. I just got a new pair and hope they last another 10 years.

As I say in my title, this shoe is really seems designed to fit like a closed back clog instead of a Bean boot. I usually wear a size 9 and I ordered the size 8. They are roomy and my heels do come out just a little bit, but this is the appropriate fit. I have tried on a 7 and while it fits like a traditional boot, but it is not comfortable to walk in because of the shoe's low profile. I would end up blistered. I will say that as a shoe primarily made of rubber, they can be a very cold if you are just sitting around outside, but there isn't any insulation in the shoe anyways. I got some shearling liners for them and now they are my go to shoe all winter and sometimes even in the summer.

I love these boots. I'd tried some identical looking knock-offs years ago, but they were stiff, uncomfortable and constantly made my feet sweat. These LL Beans are wonderful. They are absolutely comfortable, warm without making my feet too hot and are perfect for our very rainy northern California winters. Puddles in parking lots are no longer a problem. They do run large and wide, but following the sizing recommendations from the company will solve that. Don't hesitate to buy these; they are well worth it!

I love my rubber mocs. There were other possibles, but none of them came in a narrow. I did have to redo the lacing to make them work for me, but they are snug enough so that I won't trip on them, like my crocs, but loose enough that I can kick them off when I come in the house where carpet is.

Be sure to size down if you are a half size and don't expect them to be snug at the ankle. The tie is only decorative and you can't make them tighter. So wear thick socks like they advise and don't plan to wear them for a hike! Love that they come in navy. Look great with jeans.

I was so scared I ordered the wrong size......I wear 10 W in all shoes. But, I watched the video and read half the reviews and was convinced to order a 9 Medium. I am flabbergasted! They actually fit GREAT! They look sharp too! They are comfortable and I know my feet will stay dry! Trust them! They know what they are talking about!

This Bean Moc is awesome! I love them!! They are so warm and comfy and look great with my skinny/straight leg jeans. I wear a size 6 shoe and order a size 6, they are little big but fit great with thicker socks.

I bought my L.L. Bean rubber mocs for a couple bucks about half a dozen years ago at a thrift shop. Thus, they were already well broken in. I've worn them nearly every day since at our orchid farm. Don't doubt that when I pass on, some other lucky gal will find these seemingly immortal mocs in a thrift shop and carry on. Meantime, ordered fresh pair for husband, who resisted but is now a fully fledged fan.

Love this item.The moc fits great and is very comfortable.Shipped quickly. I love using them every day.NO SLIP bottom of moc which is one of many reasons I purchased this moc.I kept slipping and falling with other shoes and got hurt. Having worn these as a kid, I recently purchased a new pair. I'm so glad I did. They are extremely comfortable and perfect for wet, rainy days. As described, they run big so order according to the guidelines. They are cute and well made. A great purchase.

I love my new mocs. They do run big. I wear a 9W and they were swimming. brought them back to store and got an 8R and still lots of room for heavy sock. Bought some gatores and was able to walk in moderate amount of snow. my teenage son loves them too. color is good. Worth the money.

I ordered the "duck boots" just in time for the recent Hurricane Sandy. The fit is slightly large however it will accommodate heavier socks which was the intended plan. They keep my feet dry for my daily walks on campus during inclement weather. I will always want to have a pair of these ready to wear at all times!
