I love these. I needed to go down a full size and the width is a little big (but my feet are a little narrow). I wish they had a slipper with the same insole because they are so comfortable that I forget to take them off and track dirt in :-).

These gum shoes came in narrow which are hard to find. You just slip in & go in any weather. They have removable insoles so you can use orthotic inserts. I do. The heel fits like a clog which is as described. The ornamental ties are a bit too long but that's easily fixed. I liked them so much I bought another pair in an other color.

Let me say, right off, that the 1/2 size too large is for the heavy socks! These boots/mocassins are great! They are comfortable enough to be worn all day long. I do recommend them.

I have one of every color (almost) in this woman's bean boot, and I LOVE them! I wear them to work and get so many compliments on them every time I wear them! They are good for not only rainy days, but cold days worn with heavy socks, or in warm weather with light socks. These boots will last for decades, but I recommend the Bean Boot water-proofing cream at least twice a year, and cleaning the bottoms of the boot with mild soap and water after every time worn.

Good looking shoe. I had to return because they ran so big. My foot is small and wide. The width was great. Color I wanted was not in size 5.

This is my second pair. The first pair is still going strong after more than ten years of wet weather wear. I just bought another pair mostly for a fresh color.

The women's rubber boots I purchased are absolutely perfect for yard work, whether it is dry or muddy and wet after a rain. They keep my feet clean and dry. I passed my old 10 year old pair along and they are still being used. Thank you for the great attention to detail.

Hey, L.L. Bean-- PLEASE carry the black/black color combo in Wide Widths! I really need some "fancier" rain-worthy shoes, and these are perfect-- but the "fun" color combos are never made in Wide. Please reconsider! I LOVE my rain mocs-- they've withstood years and years of use, and recommend them to EVERYONE-- but limiting the color options to regular-width only does the rest of us wrong!

Love these! I slip them on and off throughout the day when coming and going through our melting snow, ice, and muddy spring here in Alaska. I wear size 8 but ordered a 7 and they fit well. At first I was worried about the loose heal box but it's been fine - I tend to wear athletic socks or medium thickness socks with them. I wear them around town but likely won't wear them for longer walks (more than 2 miles) due to my high arches and need for more support. The orange and blue color combo makes me happy!

I love these boots! it is accurate to say that whatever size you take, you should go down 1 size smaller; I take a size 8 in a shoe, but ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly! They are very comfortable, and the fit is perfect

I really like these boots/shoes. I usually wear a size 71/2 so I ordered a size 6 in wide. I was afraid they would be too wide after reading the reviews, but they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and seem to be durable for working around the barn in any type of weather. There is plenty of room to wear thicker socks if needed in the cold. They are just what I wanted!

I purchased these to take my new Irish Wolfhound puppy out during the night. My slippers were not waterproof! These work perfectly! I can slip them on easily and they keep my feet dry. I heeded the reviews and bought a full size smaller than I usually buy. The are still plenty big and I have to wear heavier socks if I want them snug. However, they are very comfortable and they suited my needs perfectly!

I have terrible feet with bunions, flat feet and a hammertoe on my right foot. I always wear 11 reg or wide. Got these in wide and these shoes are so roomy and comfortable. The stitching alone makes me see that these Mocs will last long. They have been helpful anytime there is rain. Absolutely dry feet with this product.

I wrote true to size LL Bean style. We all know the fit is old fashioned. Find the right fit, find your dream shoe. The chocolate brown and green is a perfect spring, summer, fall combination. Matches everything. Mine were made by Krissy at the shoe factory. She did a great job! All the stitches and pieces of leather to rubber are put together perfectly. In Dansko shoes, I wear a 40 or 41 wide. In winter snow boots, I take a 10 or 11 wide. (all with socks) I take an 8 medium in these shoes and they are it for me!

I was somewhat confused on what size to order and thought that it was a risky decision based on reviews. I have somewhat narrow feet but bumps and lumps that need space. I ordered my normal size in the narrow and they are perfect! Actually they were still a tad wide but by tightening accordingly by pulling on the leather ties, I got my perfect fit. I love them and they are fantastic as I spend a lot of tiime outdoors with dog walking and gardening.. Thank you LLBean for these wonderful USA made shoes!,

I ordered the shoe twice and was unable to get the size right. Loved the quality and style of the shoe and would love to see half sizes.

This is my second pair so since I bought a pair before I knew what size to order. And just like the first pair they fit perfectly. The older pair I keep at the backdoor to wear outside. I bought this pair to wear during the summer instead of wearing sneakers all the time when I leave the house on errands etc. I was torn as to what color to purchase and decided the navy would go quite well with jeans.

I have LOVED this shoe for decades; LLB has maintained their high quality for that entire time. This is my third pair in 40 years. Spring gets "swampy" here in Coastal NC, and with dogs, kids & chickens I am out early before the sun comes completely up. I do not worry; these are my go to early morning shoes!!!!

The Bean Boot is perfect for the Pacific Northwest! I love my boots. Easy to put on and extremely comfortable. I always get compliments when I wear them!

Absolutely love these. I wear them all the time for running errands in sloppy weather and slushy parking lots. Great for muddy roads too! They are very comfortable with both heavy and lightweight socks. (A little stiff right out of the box) I wear an orthotic and did not think I would get it in my shoe but fit ok. One major caution is that they run very large. The salesman was very upfront about this fact asking what size I was. I said 8 or 8 1/2 and he said go with a 7. I did and it fit perfectly. You will not be disappointed with these.

Be sure to downsize a size, I didn't the first time but Bean's made it right and shipped me the right size! Very comfortable and walks through wet snow, and water! Can wear them all day!

The quality of the boots is great. I used them this Winter, and they kept my feet warm and dry in the snow. It is best to go by the guidelines as far as what size to order. I normally wear an 8 1/2, but ordered down just 1/2 size since they said the fit is big; plus, I wear a heavier sock, as opposed to a light-weight sock. The fit turned out to be good. I also like the variety of nice colors.

I love these Bean Boots!! They are extremely well crafted, sturdy and made with quality materials. They are also very comfortable and attractive. I am thinking of ordering another pair in a different color. Awesome boots!!

I usually wear an 8.5 and had ordered them according to what they advised and got a 7 but they were way too small and had to send them back. Replaced them with an 8 and they are perfect!!! I was worried that they would bother my bunions but there is enough room that these don't and I can even wear a sock with them. Very happy! Returning the 7 and getting an 8 was a painless event and service was very fast. ( this is an update from my first review from a couple of weeks ago. )
