I was very excited to get these slippers as my mom has a pair that she has worn for probably 10 years and hers are still in fantastic condition. I got these for Christmas and they are already falling apart after wearing them for less than two months. There is a hole where the laces attach in the front, the fluff on the inside has worn down and rubbed off in areas, the suede on the outside looks worn down, and the stitching around the toes is coming apart in a few spots. I only wear these indoors and I just feel like they are falling apart after very limited wear. They definitely changed how they made these slippers and they are no where near as good quality as they used to make them. Now I will probably have to pay return shipping in order to get any sort of refund. These are not worth the high cost if you want long lasting slippers.

I have bought LL Bean's Wicked Good Moccasins for the past 25 years. I buy a new pair every 4 years or so because the wool on the inside wears down after use (they are still fully functional). In the past they have lasted for years and years. I keep my old pairs after buying replacement ones. I currently have a pink pair (8 years or so old) and a red pair (5 years or so old) which I still wear. I bought a brown pair in October 2020. In January 2022 I noticed that the leather on the left foot was tearing along the seam where it is attached to the sole. I called customer service and described the issue and they said to return them as it sounded like a fault in that slipper. I returned them and today had a call from customer service. They said it is natural wear and tear. I disagree. This has NEVER happened with my previous pairs and I think that either the quality of the leather is different or that this particular slipper was defective. Disappointed.

They changed the toe box of these moccasins.
They don't fit my feet anymore. Have bought 3 pairs previously and they fit perfectly.
Now they don't. Very disappointed with them now.

I bought my first pair of these slippers when I was a sophomore in high school and had them for over 10 years. After working from home for almost a year, I decided to replace them in December 2020. My first pair looked pretty rough at that point and there was a TINY hole poking through on one of the big toes but these slippers were rugged. The first few years I owned them I would even wear them outside. Fast forward to a little over one year from the purchase of my second pair and one is completely falling apart. The sole is almost completely detached around the toe area. The other one seems to be hanging in there better but still not as good as before. Sad because I absolutely loved these slippers for years but Im not paying this much every year for a new pair of slippers.

I have been buying Wicked Good Moccasins for years. This is the first time I have been disappointed. One shoe was bigger than the other, though they were labeled as being the same. I returned them and reordered. The new pair are also going back. The workmanship was poor and the leather had flaws due to mis-sewing I think. I won't be trying a third pair. I am very disappointed as I have always been so happy with these house shoes. Apparently, the overseas manufacturer has dumbed down the quality. I hope LL Bean will look into this and get it remedied.

Shearling is already gone after just a few weeks of wearing these slippers. I am so fed up wih the bad quality polluting LLBean products in the past few years.

No arch support whatsoever. I know everyone loves these and i SO wanted to; just the thing to slip into after my boots in a Maine winter. But I have fallen arches and narrow feet and these offered a complete lack of support and even the inability to wear them with orthotics. I had to send them back and after a long discussion with your very kind and patient representative we determined that LL Bean had nothing else that would help me.

The round toe slipper didn't fit. I have seen other review noting the one round toe and one square toe. These should have been pulled from stock and not sold.

LL Bean used to make quality and support quality and have quality support. Not so much anymore.

within a couple of months the inner lining was worn out. The slippers were replaced and one of the replacements is already worn. Not worth the money

I don't know whats happened to LL Bean over the past years but the quality of products has really declined. I bought these slippers for my daughter years ago and they are sill looking great despite years of use. The shearling is thick and the leather is strong. I bought them for myself 2 years ago and just threw them out because they were so thin that a hole appeared in the toe section. My daughter just bought me another pair for the holidays and same poor quality. When compared to this slipper from years ago, leather and shearling lining is SO thin and cheap. Very disappointed!!

Very disappointed in the quality of these slippers. My husband bought them to replace a pair I had from 4 years ago (these are still in half decent shape) and within 3 weeks the shelling on the outside became matted and when tying them the eye holes ripped. Sad that the quality has gone downhill over the past few years.

I've purchased the wicked good moccasins twice in the preceding years. The quality was excellent.
I returned my recent purchase because of the poor quality. One shoe was wider than the other, and the lining was compressed.
Needless to say, I'm disappointed. I'd come to rely on LL Bean for quality, but times have changed.

I received these just over a year ago and have only worn them around the house. The fabric in the toe area has torn close to the soles. Frustrating that slippers that cost this much have only lasted a year

I did not like the way these fit, the back of the slipper slides off your heals and will not stay on. I will be returning these and getting a different style

there was a label inside the shoe which irritated ones foot and certainly removed the snuggy comfort of such a slipper. Also no half sizes so was too large

Having never purchased from you I was unsure of sizing. I wear a 7 1/2 but an 8 was too large. The 7 fit but the right shoe has a funky fit. The inner side of the shoe is considerably wider causing the shoe to roll. I've ordered another pair in hopes it will fit properly.
