My favorite LLBean Kiltie mocs from a few years ago are worn out and I replaced them with this moccasin since the Kiltie style is not available. Unfortunately I returned these because they are so unattractive and unfeminine. I understand that moccasins are for comfort more than style but the Kiltie's were so cute and definitely got the job done well. Hopefully LLBean will bring this style back.

I am a usually a 7.5 - 8. I ordered a size 8, it was very tight. No real arch support and despite the fuzzy inside, didn't feel very cozy.

They are too big. I ordered a size 6 because my wife wears a 6. Unfortunately, she confidently took the tags out of them almost immediately because the tags are in a bad spot and were poking her on the bottom of the foot as soon as she put them on. She immediately took them off and cut the tags out before walking in them. Hindsight is 20/20. Now that the tags are cut out, we didn't try to return them. Too expensive of a slipper for them not to be a true 6. They look great and feel great without the tags, but won't stay on her feet when walking.

Not the typical LL Bean quality. Fleece skimpy around the tongue. The back of the slipper was very wide and the toe part was a bit narrow. I actually walked out of these slippers. I have returned them.

I live in the south and therefore only wear the slippers a few weeks out of the year. They have already fallen apart in that the interior is matted & uncomfortable. The ties rub against heel when tied tight enough to hold in place. The soles are in tack but honestly very disappointed, comfort, durability, cost. I've been more comfortable in way less expensive slippers which have proven to last as long as these llbean slippers. Sorry! Really wanted to love these slippers, just NOT worth the money!

Wide at heels so feet slip out when walking. These are cute and have potential. Just need to think about re-labeling the sizes.

Very odd slippers, since LLBean usually makes great ones. The ones I got seemed flimsy, not a sturdy sole at all, and the left one's front portion turned out to the left. It was almost as if the right side top was sewn on the left bottom. The sheepskin warmth felt very cosy, but overall not worth the price.

I bought these moccasins, I waited one month for them to come in. When I received them, I walked right out of them. I spoke to a women about what size I should get, I wear a 61/2 she told me to get a 7. Too large & too wide! Yes, I am ordering another pair for my self but this was a disappointment for me. If you wear a 61/2, you should buy a 6, my opinion.

Although I need slippers with arch support, I ordered these because I had worn them for years. I'm having difficulty with fit and older feet but after reading reviews thought I would be okay ordering my size. The slippers were tight but I kept them thinking I'd loosen them up. Within weeks, the lining started wadding up under the ball of my feet. I contacted LL Bean and they graciously told me to return them . I asked for a size 9 in exchange. When I finally received them, the left shoe had no support on the side of the shoe, as if the leather was very thin, and the left shoe was 1/2" longer in the vamp than the right. I returned it and have been credited for the purchase price. I will no longer order these slippers. The company had a wonderful reputation for hand-made moccasins and for their Maine built products. Since relinquishing their products to overseas manufacturing, their products have suffered from lack of oversight. Please come back to "Made in America".

Bought for Xmas for my wife. Will not stay tied, even following Bean tie instructions. Also, top stitching is now pulling loose. Will return

I purchased a pair to replace a pair I have had for 15 years. I replaced the liners 2x, but this year, it was time for a new pair. Wow was I disappointed. They looked great, but, I agree with others who say they are flimsy. The leather, and the fur lining were thin. Not snug when I put them on, instead there was too much lateral movement. I could feel how thin they were. My old ones are sturdier than the new ones. So disappointing. I returned them and am on the search for a new pair of "wicked good slippers"

A pair of mail order slippers should be made with parts that match. Although both are tagged the same size, the "vamp" (part above toes) on one slipper is an inch longer and an inch wider than the other. Looks like the factory used pieces for two different sizes. Very obvious mistake. Been buying mail order from Beans for 40 years and this is the first poor quality item received.

I SO wanted these to be my new slippers. But, the sizing and construction are all wrong. I am normally a 7.5 so I followed other reviews and ordered a size 8. They were huge so I tried the 7. The length would have been good especially as the inside packed in a bit. But, the heel is so, so, so wide that I think my foot would slip out of any size. It's just the nature of the construction. Way too much suede back there to ever dream of if fitting a heel. It's just too wide and boxy. Only bright side is that Zappos makes returns easy.

I purchased my pair a year ago and was really excited about them at the time. Though it's a steep price tag for a pair of slippers, I've always known LL Bean to stand for quality products that last for a really long time. So I thought it'd be worth it. Well, here we are 12 months later and the toe of the right slipper has already started to detach from the sole. The slippers do run big (I've been tying & retying them for a year) so my toes have had plenty of room. And these slippers are only worn indoors and I live in an 800 sq ft apartment, so we're talking about minimal wear and tear. I'd recommend shopping around for a better quality slipper at this price.

I ordered these on March 30th, 2020-they are already falling apart! I had no qualms dropping $80 on a pair of slippers because they were LL Bean-usually very good quality. Would not recommend these. Very disappointed.

When I got them one was really round at the toe and one was more pointed. It bothered me but the fit was ok. I had these slippers less then a year when the front seem came out. I should have sent them back. But who needs the hassle? I think by now it's to late. I would say I'm a bit rough on slippers, but isn't that why we buy Bean?

I have bought these slippers every 2-3 years now for over 10 years. I love them and they were always my splurge! They must have changed suppliers, because I bought them in July 2020 and within 90 days, the shearling has been worn flat inside. They are flat and. I longer fluffy or toasty. They look like they are 2-3 years old already. I'm shocked. I'm going to look into the return policy..

I was disappointed with these mocasins. I've bought them from LL Bean in the past and was very happy and satisfied with them. This time the interior lambs wool is rough and there seems to be raw seams inside around the toes. They are not nearly as comfortable as the ones I have purchased from you in the past. It seems like they were made in a hurry. I am hoping I can break them in, even tho I have never had to do that before.

I wanted to love these so much... but, the left and the right were completely different. The left slipper was super fluffy and the tongue stayed down. The right slipper looked matted and the tongue always flipped up. AND THEY BOTH NEVER EVER EVER stayed tied. I got such a good discount at Xmas time- with holiday discount and opening a Bean card it was hard to say no. I returned them and am now slipper-less. BOO. I wanted to love them!

I ordered these and was super excited for my first pair of moccasin slippers. I first ordered them in 7M and they slipped right off my heel. I then ordered them in 6M. Same exact problem. I have a feeling a 5M would not work out. They came in a pretty blue and I am sad that wicked good mocassins just don't work for me. I will have to find a different brand to use.

It was so disappointing to get my size and have my foot swimming in them. Usually, shoes are too tight on me. I ordered a different slipper in a 7, hoping without the wide, it might fit.

I bought these to replace my old ones but I am so frustrated about the heel, its too low and my heel slips out when I walk in them. They fit in every other way. I will return them when the stores reopen.

I've been wearing wicked good slippers for at least 20 years. My last pair wore out and rather than get the traditional brown leather color, I opted for the navy slippers. They are beautiful but these slippers are TOO STIFF! I know it takes time to wear them in, but these aren't the comfy slippers I've had in the past. And the fur inside is not as soft as previous pairs, it is stiff and a little scratchy. I'm very disappointed.

I bought this item exactly one year ago. I wore them only during the winter months. The stitching is now coming undone around the top. My second complaint is that I have to re-tie the leather bow a dozen times a day! I would not recommend.
