This is my second pair and disappointed to see they are wider and shorter than my original pair. My left foot steps out of the slipper when I walk and my toes are now touching the tip. I ordered the exact same style and size as before, not sure what changed. Sadly they have to go back. might try mens

I had my last pair of Wicked Good Moccasins for almost ten years. They were wonderful! I just received my new pair in the mail and I am extremely disappointed with the new construction. I can't tell which slipper is the left/right without turning them over and, most alarming, is the fact that there is a tag in the middle of the footbed on both slippers. The tag is not flat, but sticks up making the slippers extremely uncomfortable. The tag tells me that the slippers are no longer made in Maine, but are now outsourced to China. For the price, and from a company that I have loyally trusted in the past, I expect much better.

Not good for wide feet. I ordered these in a 7, 8, and 9 in the Steward plaid and the suede. Essentially, the toe box was exclusively too small or too large. With a lack of half sizes, and the wide option only being offered in one color, these were a letdown, but maybe the rounded toe slippers would be a better fit for the shape of my feet.

I bought these because they were so highly rated on Wirecutter. I wouldn't recommend them. Over priced and not particularly comfortable.

i have been buying these slippers for years. this time the leather was thinner as well as the rubber sole. i can feel the cross pattern on the bottom of the sole and feel like I am walking on the floor. what happened to the quality? i am so surprised at LL Bean.

i was So excited to find that you had a slipper in a wide. Unfortunately when I got them they did not fit and seemed to be made incorrectly. It was hard to tell the right from the left slipper and they seemed to be sewn on at an odd angle. the slippers bent off to the side. They were nearly impossible to walk in. I therefore have returned them.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing because I ordered them assuming they would be like the last pair I bought. The quality feels so cheap and it's half of what it was. Sad times.

These are the most frustrating pair of slippers I've ever owned. I love LL bean and their products but I've had these slippers for 8 months now and every single time I try to wear them they come untied every time I walk and it's the most frustrating thing. No matter how tight I tie them or how I tie them they do not stay tied. Love the looks of these but absolutely hate wearing them. Huge bummer

Quality has worsened, sole is thinner and less supportive, which is the whole reason l used to spend so much money on this very expensive product

I've purchased this moccasin in the past and have loved them.
THIS pair, however is very poor quality. The leather is cut differently across the top of my foot, I.e. one side is about 3/4 inch shorter than the other.
The material inside the shipper is not soft but scratchy and lumpy. I'm so disappointed.
I'm keeping them because returning them is a hassle, but, sadly this is my last pair. Boo hoo.

I received this slippers for Xmas. I was sooo happy to receive them. But I'm heart broken that they fell apart! I only wore them in doors not outside. The leather just pulled out .

The sheepskin lining was practically nonexistent. Poor quality-not at all what I am used to from your company.

I loved these and then they developed a tiny hole in the seam that continued to rip along the bottom. I reached out to customer service and they said I could mail them in for examination to determine if they were defective. Since the rip was extended for about two inches I didnt mail them in because I figured they were too damaged to assess. I thought I was buying the best option but unfortunately I dont think Ill ever trust LL Bean for slippers again.

Don't get me wrong they were great slipper, they're just not made like they used to be. They used to have so much fluff inside of the moccasin, every time I purchase or get as a gift they just keep
Thinning out and not the same quality. This is officially my last $80 moccasin slipper. Sorry L.L. Bean, not sorry.

I agree with the issue of the ties coming undone and becoming a tripping hazard. I tried wetting them before tying in the hopes that would work. I finally ended up putting gorilla glue on them which solved the problem.
My second issue with these slippers is that they eat my sox which is another major annoyance. I have worn them with ankle sox and crew sox and and within a few steps my sox were sliding down and the heel portion twisting on top of my foot. I finally ended up placing rubber bands around the tops of my sox to keep them pulled up.
They are great for comfort and warmth but not worth the money
or hassle.

I had been eyeing these house shoes for a couple of years but hesitated to purchase them because of the price. On the other hand, I have wide feet and it is difficult to find wide women's house shoes anywhere. The truth is that I don't find these to be attractive. It was cold and I was in a bind so decided to take the financial hit. Within the first week or two the fuzzy lining had clumped up in places making the shoes uncomfortable to walk in. I figured that since I was in for $80 I would go on and purchase some good shoe liners. By now my house shoes cost me over $100. Yikes! The laces keep coming loose but I hesitate to affix them permanently because the shoes keep stretching so I need to keep pulling the laces tighter. I have not even confessed to my husband that I regret this purchase because, well, it was a lot of money. Besides, they were a gift to me from me and they do keep my feet warm.

In the past ten years the quality of these slippers has gone down hill. The last pair even tore on the right tip of both slippers.

The quality has changed. I have had 3 pairs, with the first pair lasting about 6 years. They were loved to the end. The second and third pairs lasted a fraction of that time, with the fluff inside going away, matting down to nothing, making my feet sweat so they smell. Unfortunately I do not see a fourth pair in my future.

Right shoe not the mirror image of the left- right very uncomfortable . From view from above, not possible to guess which foot right shoe should go on..

I received these wicked good moccasins as a gift. When received, I noted that the left slipper was much pointier at the toe than the right, but I did not want to offend the gift giver by complaining. After less than a winter season of wear, the left toe has torn at the top and torn away from the sole at the bottom. The right moccasin remains in good condition. See photos. These were worn only inside the house as slippers.

These slippers are wonderful but I wear size 9 and they are too loose on me. I have kept them and will try to find an inner sole to make them hug my foot better.

They don't really fit your size and they are not made true to having a right foot or the left foot they feel like You have your feet in them wrong. I wish I didn't buy them. For $79 you would think by their Name and Who Sell it. You would think they would do there Bet's to have Quality Work. I will never buy slippers from LLBean again. It's like I have 2 left foots or 2 right foots. If I could return them I would do it right away,
