I buy a new pair of slippers every year, this year I splurged for myself, daughter and husband. I love them, comfortable, fit great, and warm .. but the darn sthings keep coming untied. I keep stepping on them and tripping. :/

Nice looking slippers, too large, ordered a 9 for an 8 1/2 size, way too big unfortunately, Now there is a charge to exchange for a smaller size. Probably would of not ordered if I knew it was not free exchange.I hope the smaller size will fit

I usually wear a 6 1/2-7 shoe. These slippers in a 7 really were crowded. No half sizes. An 8 floated on my feet.
I am a big slipper wearer. While these were pretty and looked cozy, I prefer a sole with more support (not unlike a shoe) and one with great comfort. I returned both the 7 and the 8 and found my preferred slippers elsewhere. (And I love L.L. Bean.)

Love the slipper, but usually buy yearly as either it does not retain it's appearance or they wear out.

This is my 3rd pair of these slippers. Alas, after 10 days of wearing them around the house, they are still uncomfortably tight at the toes. So I will be donating them to charity.

This seems like a very warm slipper for those cold winter nights. However I thought they would have more of an arch support like the men's wicked good slippers do, but I was surprised when I found no arch support and not much cushion in the foot bed.
I called customer support and they very graciously explained that the women's actually don't have the arch support and would refund the purchase plus shipping.
LLBean is a great retailer and stands behind their cloths to make everyone happy. My family and friends always shop here for quality items,it just happened that these slippers were not for me.

I want to love these slippers, but they keep getting a hole in same place. I am now on my second pair of slippers and both times in short period of time with limited wear they've developed a hole by my right big toe where sole and leather stitched together. I'm frustrated because many years ago I had these same slippers and they lasted - seems like quality has slipped. Otherwise they are comfortable, warm slippers. So sad to see llbean quality not living up to former standards.

I bought a new pair of the Wicked Good Moccasin slippers that I've been wearing for over a decade and I'm disappointed to report that the quality has significantly diminished . They were not soft at all and the materials are discernibly lower quality. It's a marked change from previous versions -- I'll be searching for quality shearling slippers elsewhere.

My new LL Bean moccasin slippers are just ok, nowhere near as nice as they used to be even though just as expensive. There's just less slipper there. It's thinner all around, & I can literally feel the floor through the sole of the moccasin. These slippers are no longer worth the high price.

I had a pair of these purchased in 2020 & wore them around my house (& out on quick trips with no snow/rain) for years all seasons except a few summer months. Absolutely amazing quality & worth the price hands down. I should've then gotten more colors or something. Thennnn I left them somewhere while traveling in late 2025 so immediately ordered another pair. Opening the box I immediately knew they were different. Lighter, the sole is much thinner & overly flexible much thinner softer sole, the suede is very thin, VERY soft in a bad way & the fleece, very thin. The quality control was terrible as well as one shoe the tongue or top area comes up about a whole inch higher than the other, it looks & feels weird. Nonetheless after a week of saying I was going to send them back, I decided to just wear them since it was getting cold. It's just slippers right? Well even walking in them they are flimsy, the sole doesn't stay flat, even from the inside they very thin like my toes will poke through at some point. It's been the whole winter now wearing them in the evenings & mornings (for maybe 3-5 hours a day max) & I am not even confident I'll get another season out of them. The fleece is worn to the bare sole inside on some spots, they've stretched out so much I can't even tighten them with the lace much more because that is stretching out too, so now they don't stay on & the fleece is very ragged looking, like everything has caught in it because it was so sparse vs packed & thick like the old ones. The fleece down the back is embarrassing thin like I have something stuck to the slipper.
I used to swear by these & recommend them to everyone but now I hope no one has purchased recently as I have because they're truly awful. I actually went onto a resell fashion app & found an OLD preowned pair. For a fraction of this price obv ' they're from when quality was better. At least ill have those next year.
I understand things have gotten expensive, I understand quality has gone down literally everywhere I know these are already very expensive slippers, but when you compare the fact that fast fashion & box store slippers are even 20-30 dollars I'd happily pay for these at appropriate price hike IF the quality was there. Please fix these - this is just so disappointing.

This is the 4th pair of these slippers over some years. I returned them as the quality has drastically decreased. The lambskin lining used to hug the foot and now it's slippery and not dense like before. I'm very disappointed as LL Bean was always known for high quality.

Unfortunately these ladies slippers were to tight for my mothers feet . We purchased a 9 wide and she had a very difficult time feeling comfortable in them . She said it was very tight in the toe box .

While the slippers themselves are warm and comfortable, the laces cause an issue. They do not stay tied and, when loose, can cause a tripping hazard. Had I realized, I would not have bought these slippers.

ordered 2 pairs; first pair was sewn crooked on right shoe but wearable; second pair (on backorder due to color) was 2 different sizes of shoe - very obvious and could not wear. sent back for refund. really wanted the second pair color - very disappointed in quality of LL Bean after many years of great products.

Really comfortable... but one of the feet is bigger than the other. Was a sent a replacement and those were even bigger. Clearly no uniform cut.

I have been a long time Wicked good moccasin wearer. I love to wear these even in the summer. Excited to receive a new pair of the same size that I've worn over the last three plus decades, they were too short. I double checked the size that I ordered - same as always.

I have always loved Bean's slippers but the quality on sizing and structure has gone down hill. These are beautiful slippers so if they work for you, you will love them. For me they were tight across the toe area ( which I know stretch) but the heel end wouldn't stay on my foot as I walked which makes for a tripping hazard for me. Unfortunately they were returned and I went with a different brand. I have to pick a length and width without being able to comment so they are not true remarks.

As a long time, L.L. Bean customer, it pains me to write this review. I have purchased several pairs of the wicked good moccasins throughout the years, with the last pair being within the past two years. The shearling does wear out, and I thought I would treat myself to a new pair for Christmas. I always wear a size 7 in L.L. Bean moccasins, so I started by ordering a new pair of these. I wanted to try the wicked good Venetian slippers as well because the laces that don't stay tied on the moccasins kind of drive me a bit bonkers lol. The sizing on both new pairs of slippers are the same, however, they are considerably and noticeably shorter than the pair I purchased within the past two years. I understand that the body of the slipper loosens up over time, but there's nothing that can be done over the length of the sole. It's just so odd because the new sizing is consistent, but not consistent with the old sizing. Please see photo for referenceit's visibly a lot shorter than the pair I currently have. I will be returning both pairs, and L.L. Bean. Customer service was great about waiving the cost of the returns, but I felt as though both chat agents I communicated with didn't really understand what I was explaining. The issue is that if I go up a size, the slippers will end up way too wide and loose in short time if they follow the same pattern of breaking in as my pairs in the past. Be careful with the sizing, and if there is a store nearby, I would recommend you go in store to try on instead of trusting that the sizing is in line with what you may have ordered in the past.!

Ordered after extensive research on the strength of these being the top-rated slippers by NYT Wirecutter. They are q
Uite attractive and obviously well made. However, I found them to be oppressively warm to wear.

After reading about how these were recommended, I find these very disappointing. LL Bean is obv. known for its quality but these are a bit better than something you'd get from Target. The leather is not great quality. Pieces of the shearling came off in my hands the first time I put them on. I thought I might add a star because other high quality brands put foam in the sole which equals toxic forever chemicals but I'm pretty sure these also have some foam at least in the heal. I'm keeping only because I needed something right away and was using an old gift card I had but will probably not order again. Sizing is accurate.

Poor SupportGreat Support
There was no support, but then they are moccasins. The fur inside was exactly what I needed as my feet are frequently cold. Problem is that my foot has had a lot of trauma to it and apparently I have to have more support in the slippers that I wear.

They fit great. They are soft and comfy - and have to return them because of tags that are sewn in and not removable easily that irritate the arch when the shoes are on. Why? Why put there where they will annoy? Why make them so sewn in that they cannot be removed without cutting - which doesn't insure you'll get it all and still be a problem that you now cannot return. Not attempting to cut them - returning.

I bought a pair of these slippers today. They were so comfortable and warm at the store. Got them home and walked on my hardwood floors. Squeak Squeak Squeak. Every step. The same squeak as sneakers on a gym floor. I am so disappointed. Sadly, I'm returning them.
