This is my 2nd pair of these same exact slippers from LL Bean. they are AWESOME when you first get them, and for quite a bit after. But right around the 1 yr mark, the seems go around big toes and then they just tear. :( Last time they replaced, now with new exchange policy, they would not replace. I get it - but its a bummer. These are expensive slippers. My UGGS lasted 2 yrs+ - I still have them as a back up. With the UGGs , they never tore or wore out, the fleece got squished after 2 yrs (to be expected). With these LL Bean Slippers, the fleece was still awesome & fluffy & the bottom was super (hardly worn down b/c only wear inside) - but they developed the 1 yr toe hole that spread. So in the trash they go :( And I will be buying UGGS as replacement. **see pics**. Would recommend these if you are OK spending this $ for slippers for 1 yr. I will spend a little more next time and get 2 yrs out of Uggs.

This is my fourth pair, same style, same size and it felt like a size 8 not 7. No support at all and first day my heel was slipping out of slipper while walking down stairs! Says it's a 7 ladies but way too long. Doesn't stay tied through the day. I'd return them if I could, but just had surgery. Not the same quality as past purchases.

Bought these for my wife for her birthday in March. She wore them a bit before it really warmed up for summer and then put them away for the season. When she did wear them it was often while sitting on the couch and light walking around the house, maybe a couple hours a day. she got them back on recently and noticed the inside is badly worn from her extremely limited use. The soles of them looked brand new - still with the nubs/traction on the soles, little to no creasing in the leather from walking. I see a trip to the store for return/exchange in my near future.

good product, but LL Bean ability to predict shipping dates has dramatically worsened, On 2 orders they have been totally incompetent and the chat room still can not predict a ship date on one order. This is a huge change from the once super customer service company

I have been buying Wicked Good slippers for at least 20 years and up until this recent pair, I have been totally satisfied. The slippers were well made with a thick, warm shearling lining and lasted for years. Unfortunately, this pair that I just purchased last week, are quite skimpy on the shearling lining. The shearling is thin and doesn't keep my feet warm, especially my toes. I still have my old pair and even after wearing them every day for the past 6+ years, the shearling is thicker than the new pair. I only bought the new pair because my old pair was looking well worn on the outside. The new pair looks good but just doesn't live up to the Wicked Good reputation.

I Purchased a size 9 It was too big. Returned it at a local store for a size 8 which was too small. The slippers are so cozy and warm inside, I just wish L.L. Bean made them in half sizes.

My beloved pair of wicked good slippers finally wore out and I got a replacement pair for my birthday. These are not nearly as comfy as the old ones. They are much stiffer and feel like a shoe rather than a slipper. Plus they are so stiff that they pull my socks down as I walk around. Ugh. Disappointing when great products change for the worse.

Very nice slipper but soles are not made well and it ran wide for me - had to keep tightening the lace. I got a season of wear and just took them back out for new cold season - the front end of the sole just broke from the seams and makes me trip on things... ugh

Got these slippers a few years ago. The suede was soft and the fleece cozy. And they were light on the feet. Decided to get a second pair this year. The suede was stiff--more like a shoe. The slipper itself is heavier than my older pair. The fleece wasn't quite as ample as earlier pair. Will have to buy a fleece inner sole to make them cozy. Runs true to size. Guess LLBean doesn't have good quality control.

I wear a size 11 shoe, womens. But my feet are narrow. Therein lies the glitch! My husband bought these for me for Christmas maybe about 10 years ago. I could barely get my foot in the size 10, but in time, they stretched. I have since given up the ship, ordered new ones, and NONE of them are narrow enough to stay on my feet. I had the original ones resoled by one of the last cobblers in New England! He asked me how important it was to me, as he quoted a $35 price. No problem. D-Day is coming again, but after trying all slippers for women, as I did last time...I went to Zappos. My friend told me that she had a pair of UGGS moccasins that were quite narrow. Don't know why, but UGGS takes care of people like me. Sadly, LL, you do not.

I bought these to replace the camp moccasins I purchased 4 years ago. The fit is sloppier and they feel less cushioned in the soles. The suede feels stiff and the shearling less soft. They are OK. I'm hoping they haven't decreased the quality on the regular camp moccasins because I plan to go back to that style when these wear out.

My review is averaged between 1 and 5 stars. The first pair I had lasted four years; the pair I have right now is falling apart at the seams, and I will be returning them. I put "Yes" for the recommendation question, because I'm optimistic that this was a one-off production error.

I purchase Wicked Good slippers every Christmas. One year for my son, the next year for my daughter-in-law. They would always last two years, so the $89. and $79. price tag was okay. If there were a problem, LLBean would make it right. Until recently. Women's Wicked Good slippers bought Christmas 2016 developed a hole along the seam early this year. NP, I took them back. I was informed they would not replace them as they were over the 1 year cutoff. New slippers were not 'DUE' until next Christmas. I had to buy a new pair. Next Christmas, shearling slippers will NOT be from LLBean.

These slippers were a replacement of my old ones. The rawhide laces come untied all the time which can cause me to trip! Also, I am a size 5 and my old ones were true to size whereas this pair is not. They are wider, not as snug and tend to make me shuffle to keep them on my feet. I see other people wearing them out, in the supermarket or coffee shop. I could never wear mine outside because of the fit.

I have had several pairs of wicked good slippers over the years. I just got this new pair and they are nowhere near as plush as the others I've had. Usual a new pair just envelopes your feet in thick fleece, especially the cushy insole. These are okay but not at all like what I've had before. I hope this is a fluke and not the new normal

I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new Wicked Good slippers, but I was very disappointed when I put them on and wore them a little while. The feel of the slippers is wonderful and the look is wonderful as well. The fit was to size, but it didn't take long before I realized that they didn't feel like the Wicked Good slippers I last bought from LL Bean. There was no support for my feet so I was completely uncomfortable in them. I would imagine that some people, if they didn't have problem feet, wouldn't have an issue with the slippers, but I had to send them back for a refund. I really am disappointed because it took a long time before I saved enough money to buy them.

I have purchased these slippers for my family and me for years. I always swore by them and recommended them to my friends. They are the only thing that keeps my feet warm. They are so comfortable. I am on my 3rd pair for myself in six years. I am so disappointed that the quality has gone down with each pair that I have purchased. I bought a pair for my daughter and me for Christmas this year. The fur is already gone on the bottom heal part of my slipper. I mentioned how the quality has been going down over the years to my daughter. She agreed with me and said she was disappointed as well. She said she doesn't want them anymore and that her next pair will be from Uggs. My husband and I wear LLBean winter coats and I purchased a down vest for myself at Christmas. I really hope that you improve your quality on the slippers, as I intended to always own these. However, I'm really afraid of buying another pair and them being the same downgraded quality.

My granddaughter specified these shoes. The quality is excellent, and is similar to the quality of some that I purchased from another retailer for less than 1/2 the price of these shoes. I would not purchase them again since the price is substantially more than the quality in the shoe.

I fell in love with these when I saw them and although I usually don't spend this much on myself for slippers I decided to purchase as a gift to myself. Sadly, I am giving them to my daughter. I purchased a size 10 even though I usually wear a 10 1/2 or 11. They are huge on me, I walk out of them even with socks on. I purchased slippers for my husband as well and we are exchanging those because his are huge too. Unfortunately, there is a $6.50 fee for exchange, I will definitely take that into consideration with my next shoe purchase. Most stores do free returns for size exchange.

Item is a Christmas gift. Unable to rate because it hasn't been opened yet. LL Bean should know this and wait until after the holidays before asking for a rating.

As so many others have noted, here in their reviews, these slippers are NOT made the same as they were 10 years ago; that was when I purchased my 1st pair, at $39.00 plus $6.95 for shipping! The price has risen dramatically, they are now made in CHINA and not by hand (in Maine)! That's very disheartening and I will check the tags, from all my L.L.Bean purchases, in the future. I have worn the signature winter Bean boots and *hope* those are not ever made in China! ----> These SLIPPERS have been on my feet for 3 days now and the Sherpa lining is already bunching up under my toes (probably why the top of my toes are hurting from being crunched up too high); that didn't take long and I see similar complaints (here). I have very high arches / arched feet and there is very little to NO support with the lining in these. I can feel the hard, rubber outer-soles through the lined bottom. My 10 year old pair were just the opposite of these! -----> I just loved the red color and sadly, I will have to return these for a refund; after looking at the entire selection of slippers, on here, anything with a similar design and same level of superior warmth (limited selection) has the same poor reviews of construction. -----> ATTENTION L.L.Bean the outside of these slippers are fine, but the inside need to be RE-DONE........

I ordered the recommended size & they are BIG. There is nothing to hold the back onto my heel. So disappointed. I wish LLBean would size their footwear correctly. I have wasted so much time every couple of years trying on boots & slippers. Return postage is expensive!

I have had three pairs of these and the quality was great. They have lasted for years and I have worn them inside the house and out. I just received my new order for two pair and the quality is straight out of Walmart or Target. The price went up and these are shoddy with very little fur lining, thin sole and thinner leather. I won't be ordering these again for this kind of money.

These did not even last a year. I am just not a fan of the made in China items. The soles are in great shape but the inside lining wore away. The heal has torn apart and the lining is completely gone. Laces always come untied. Are they warm though? Yes super warm.

I love the feel of these slippers, however when I walk, my heal slips totally out of the back. I am returning these.
