I received this as a gift from my mom for Christmas. My feet are always cold, so I was super excited about these. They do an excellent job at keeping my feet warm. I've only worn them around the house and that is my intent with them. Overall, I am not satisfied. Less than 48 hours after wearing them, the right slipper became untied. I tied it, and it would untie almost instantly. Super frustrating. I did a Google search of the issue and found an old video on how to do a certain knot that would hopefully keep the laces in place. It worked for about 2 days and then became untied again. Now the left one is untied. It's extremely frustrating. I feel like I am going to trip literally all of the time. Also, if you are a half size, I would suggest sizing down and not up.

These shoes are super cozy but run a size big and don't hold shape . After about a month, they are stretched out and sloppy looking.

The leather lace is threaded in and out of the moccasin, and try as I might, I could not arrange the lace in such a way as to stop irritating the top of my foot. The laces are leather and their edges are sharp enough to bother me. Regretfully returning.

I love the shoe but it was too long and too wide. I'm 71 and I've worn a 6 my whole life. So Quality Control isn't being precise or my feet are shrinking, and I don't know if that happens. But they were very lovely shoes.

Was disappointed that the shearling was not warm enough for my feet. Sheepskin is what I really want and this is different to shearling. Walked out to mailbox and back on concrete and my feet took over an hour to warm back up. They look good and I was ever hopeful that I'd found a slipper that worked for me, after looking at these for a couple of years, along with others and my choice is to pursue true sheepskin slippers.
My last pair of moccasins (made and bought down under) lasted me 10 years before they really fell apart. I put in sheepskin inserts every winter and they were fine.
I would pay more to buy slippers with rubber soles, rather than the plastic-y soles that are on slippers nowadays. Wearing my father's boot slippers that have rubber soles and they're over 35 years and the soles still have plenty of wear in them.
Really disappointed.

Even with socks on, my toes remain cold. One reason may be that, in the toe box, the fluffy lining is completely flat due to the stitching holding it down. This was true before I put them on the first time. The rest of my feet are warm in these slippers; but I bought them explicitly to warm my toes

I'm SUPER sad that I just received these as my Christmas present to myself to actually wear on Christmas morning and they are way too big. I am a normal shoe size 7 1/2 and took the advice in the description that said for half sizes to order a size up and they won't even stay on with thick socks! Now I have to send them back and they are back ordered until mid March! Guess I won't be wearing these at Christmas?

Personally, I don't think reviews should be written until months have elapsed. Most things seem wonderful when they're new, like the fabulous lining in these slippers. However, now, after a couple of months, it's matted and not terribly comfortable without socks. I would recommend wearing them with socks and maybe the lining would keep nice for a longer time, but that's not very convenient for slippers. They fit very nicely, and aside from the lining are comfortable. I like the soles, and they look as if they will last. The laces are leather, and like all leather ties, they come untied easily. They make the fit better so it's kind of annoying to have to keep retrying them, but not too bad. I wish I'd gotten the felt lined ones.

Lovely moccasin, but too wide for narrow feet. Wouldn't stay on heel. Buying online is a gamble, as some medium widths work. This one did not.

I have purchased these slippers for over 10 years. My most recent pair did not seem as "plush" and didn't fit well. Too big. The sherling interior was different than in the past, appeared to be different, not as nice. I am returning the size 7 and trying one more time with a size 6. In the past, the "hard sole" is great and long lasting.

I originally ordered 7 and then returned them. I got the 8 and I think I'm going to have to wear socks with these which kinda defeats the purpose of sherpa. It wasn't just a new, fuzzy interior that was a bit too bushy, the 7s were definitely too short.I could feel the leather seam pressed against my toenail.
I really wish LL Bean would carry half sizes and more wide widths especially in their slippers. If you are a full size these will be nice for you.

First I will say that I absolutely adore anything LL Bean! I asked for these as a gift because I knew I would not need to replace them for many years just like all of my LL Bean items. These however have worn under my heel quite a bit and have become very uncomfortable to wear. They've definitely been well loved since I got them last Christmas but I still would have hoped that they'd last longer. I contacted customer service regarding this and we were unable to find the order so now I am stuck. Not feeling very great about this purchase as a loyal LL Beaner.

I have loved these slippers for years and have ordered them ever 1-2 years. This pair feels lighter, thinner in material and flimsier than in years past. The sole feels durable, but very squeaky on hard floors, something I'd never had a problem with before.

These are too big and look cheap . I have a pair that I have had for years and wanted a new pair . Very disappointed I took them back for a refund .

With the name Wicked Good, and as an LL Bean classic product, the shearling used in these slippers is disappointingly wispy/sparse and not thick and plush as I had hoped, and not at all as nice as the shearling in a pair of calf-high street boots that I have (another brand).
The "Made in China" on the tag didn't help either....
However, they are warm and sturdy. They'll do.

I received these in a size 10 (my normal size) for Christmas and was so excited but they were WAY too big so they had to go right back. Since there are no half sizes I went down to a 9 and after waiting for them to arrive they ended up being too small. They are so cozy and if they fit I'm sure they would be my go to slipper but sadly they just don't fit!

I've owned at least one pair of these wicked good slippers every year for the past 20 or so years. This year I purchased a pair for myself in red and threw away 3 old pair I was hoarding. Very disappointed. Within a week the stitching around the top came loose. When I called to request a replacement I was told the red were not in stock and would not be available. I could get a replacement in another color but I really love the red. So, I'll keep what I have and try to repair them, but for almost $80 and LL Beans reputation I really think they should last longer than a week. I'm disappointed in the quality.

They are really too big, my feet slip out of them when I walk. I really think it's because off the fluffy stuff around them. My husband s seem to be made better

My favorite part about these slippers are the tough, sturdy, grippy soles. I don't worry about sliding around on hard wood floors or that I will wear holes through the bottoms. They are also really warm, which is a benefit because my feet are usually cold, no matter the time of year.
Two issues I hadn't anticipated but vex me every time I wear these slippers:
1) Something about the shearling "holds on" to my socks, pulling them down towards my toes with every step I take. This uncomfortable/distracting feeling requires me to reach down and pull my socks up every few minutes. Annoying.
2) The leather laces do not stay tied for very long. The ends are long enough that I walk on them when they become untied. Perhaps a spot of KrazyGlue on the knot would work.
For as much as I paid for these, I'm not sure if I want to continue to deal with those two (seemingly insignificant, but actually very distracting) issues much longer. I saved the box and am considering returning them. I'll give it another week or so, because they are the sturdiest-soled slippers I've found and I do generally love LL Bean's products.

I'm a womens 8 which I ordered and these are huge on me. I'll need to return for a 7. I would recommend a size down for anyone.

My daughter got these for Christmas. Two days later I noticed the suede between the laces had broken. I always love LLbean quality...not in this case. I am returning but have to get a new pair because she loves them. Super cozy but hoping the next pair fairs better. Three stars for the hassle of having to return after Christmas.

The only thing missing would be more support on the sole. There isn't any memory foam so the bottoms are hard and not good for extended wear around the house. The wool is very soft and the moccasins are very warm, but they offer little support when walking.

I have bought these slippers for years. They are still the most comfortable slippers I have found however I cannot help but notice the steady decline in quality. My first pair I had for 5 years and then bought a new pair. The second pair I had I had to return after a year because they looked like the pair I had for 5 years. Worn down, and just not the same quality. Now this pair I got I've worn for a little over 2 weeks just around the house and lining is already worn down in the heel. They are still warm and comfortable but I can't help but think I will have to return them before too long. I know many took advantage of lifetime returns, but if prices are going to stay the same, the quality really needs to match.

The fit around the heel was very floppy and my heel kept popping out. I returned because I was afraid of tripping.
