I've worn out several pairs of these over the last 25 years. Alas, when I replaced the most recent pair this fall, I found that the design of the slipper had changed, with a different fit, and worst of all, the label was sewn into the seam between the sole and the side of the moc, right where it would rub and scratch the arch of my foot! I had to rip the labels out to be able to wear them. Terrible design change for the label alone. Come on!

The shearling in the foot bed bunches up and makes the shoe uncomfortable. I purchased the wide shoe size but they still feel narrow.

I received these as a gift. Wore out in less than a year. Hole around toe in about 6 months and I do not wear them in summer. Also would not stay tied. Got tired of tying double knots, but would still come undone eventually. Wish they lasted longer and did not have laces on them, as laces are pretty much useless. Comfortable and warm when worn. I would think LL Bean would have better quality.

After purchasing and then exchanging this shoe a few times due to manufacturer defects, I finally received a very comfortable pair. (L.L.Bean provided great service.) Unfortunately, after the first few days, the shoes would NOT stay tied. Had to re-tie them multiple times a day, even after a double knot. Finally had to cut the laces off! In the meantime, the inside soles started falling apart.
For the price, I had much higher expectations of this moccasin.

The tag is on the inside on the bottom, so it hits the arch of your foot. Why? This is really, really uncomfortable. Sure I can probably cut it, but then I'll have a raw edge hitting the arch of my foot. I'm sending them back. This is not what Bean quality should be. Why would you put a tag there?
Too bad as they are otherwise comfortable, though they are narrow. I wear a normal width. If you wear a wider shoe, these aren't for you. But then again, with the tag right under your arch, I can't recommend them for anyone.

Ok I bought these slippers in January because it was cold. They fit great and have felt amazing. Other than winter I wear maybe once or twice a month. They are starting to tear-up inside. I only weigh 160Lbs so it cant be my weight. Just saying...

I just returned mine that i had for 6 months the lining on the inside wore out all the way down to the rubber sole for $69 i would think they would last a little more than half a year. Granted I wear them everyday when I'm in the residence hall at school, but that's what slippers are for to be worn around inside. Other than that they are warm and comfortable hopefully this pair will last me longer.

I have an old pair and wanted to replace them but dear lord these are ugly. The soles are much thicker and make them appear and feel bulkier than the handsome classic from some just a short time ago. Sadly, the quality is still good but this "improved" model shall be returned to you ASAP.
Bring back what was never broken.

I have purchased the older style for years, and they easily conformed to my feet.
This new style isn't as roomy and hasn't conformed to my feet after months of wear, and are uncomfortable. Also, the soles are too "grippy", making me fearful of falling on carpeted surfaces. I wish I had returned them right away. Please bring back the old style!

My wife gave these to me for my birthday on 9/29/11. They were comfortable and cozy, then. Last week 2/10/12, the sole came loose from the moc in the area of the right big toe! Also the liner has disappeard in the heal of both mocs. For $60 I expected more durablilty!

I bought a pair of the chocolate brown slippers as a holiday gift for my husband. What a disappointment! The stitching started to unravel within 2 weeks of his using them. My husband loves them, so we did an exchange instead of a refund. I am so glad that LL Bean has such an astounding customer service department! Excellent service and responsiveness to the problem we had with the slippers. The replacement slippers were on back order, but we received the new ones very quickly. We are both very much happier with the replacement slippers. I'm just sorry that the original slippers were so very poorly made as to fall apart so soon after he received them.

I bought these slippers as a gift for my husband last Christmas. He has worn them everyday since he got them. Sadly, they are falling apart just short of a year. Not the quality I expected for this price and from this company. I think I will try another brand this year.

The slippers are great. What is lacking is a proper "Fit Description" for the product. I ordered these slippers based on my size foot. What is not mentioned is that a card in the slipper box states that they should fit snuggly as the shearling liner compresses. That info comes a little late to be of any value when ordering on-line. LL Bean is usually pretty good with product descriptions, but they missed the boat on this one!
My star rating isn't for the slipper but, rather, for the lack of complete fit information for the product.

Paid $100 thinking these would be good quality and last a long time. I was wrong. The inside lining has disintegrated ..... I now see other reviews with the same problem. Very disappointing.

Awful. Runs small. I ordered a 9 wide. I brought it back to the store and tried a 10 wide. It was too big. Unfortunately, you don't make half sizes. A 9-1/2 wide would have been perfect. I got a refund.

I had an old pair of llbean moccasins. They have lasted 10 plus years. They were made better. The quality of these seems cheap for the money. They were not even made in us. They were made overseas. Poor ,poor, poor. Am sending back and done buying Fromm LL Beans. They should be ashamed of themselves using other countries to make there stuff.

I wear an 11 shoe, and ordered these the same size. These immediately pack down; should have ordered a smaller size, but your literature doesn't indicate the issue.

Bought a size larger but still too small. Was charged $6.50 in shipping to return, then, Instead of a refund was issued a store credit. This all may (or may not) be buried in the fine print, but buyer beware.

I'm returning them for a fuwll refund. They are not EE wide. Quarter inch narrower than a pair that I've had for over 10 years.

These came a size to big. I returned them the day after with instructions to swap them for a smaller size. I'm still waiting and it's going on 3 weeks. I spoke to a person a couple days ago. She said the package was received and is in the return section. She would get some one to call me with the status. I'm still waiting

LLBean should be selling these for $$29.00. Found 4 pairs in the local store that were previously returned.

I bought these for my dad for Christmas 2024 and another pair for Christmas 2025. He had a previous pair that he had for 7 or 8 years and it was time for an upgrade. The ones that are barely a year old are already worn in the back and do not stay tied. The ones I bought just two months ago do not stay tied either! If a pair of house shoes isn't going to make it beyond a year, then I'll stick with some cheap knock-off Isotoners. $200 for "cheap" houseshoes isn't satisfactory. At all.
