I ordered a new pair of Men's size 8W to replace an old pair of the same size I have had for over 10 years. The Wide is a men's EE. This pair feels tight on the broadest part of my foot (I wear an women's 8-1/2 W shoe) and I don't see how it could possibly fit a man's wide foot. Hopefully it will stretch a bit with wearing.

These are well-made, but having only whole sizes and little inside taper on the heel means that if you have a "half-size" foot, the heel slips off when you try to walk in them. I have partially solved the problem by tightening the laces, but that makes them far from "wicked" comfortable. Overall, they feel clunky compared to other moccasins I've worn. I expected better.

I've had these for a little over a month and the inside bottoms of the moccasins are already worn out so that I can see and feel a black sticky substance.

My previous purchase of the same slippers proved to be excellent, so when they wore out I bought another pair. They were poorly made. The right one was perfect but the left was short on one side (the one facing the right foot). Placing them sole to sole the difference was obvious, more than 1/4 inch shorter sidewall. I couldn't slip them on. I'm most disappointed that the Bean inspectors did not catch this obvious manufacturing flaw. I returned them and asked for a new pair. We'll see what happens.

Not a complaint but these are quite warm and with my feet that means sweat. Just know that if you are going to buy these.
They are comfortable and look nice. However, the laces are pretty much ornamental but untie easily. Not fun have to retie them when they don't really need to be there. Also, after about two years the shearling on the inside is almost non existent at parts so no padding or support left. I would have hoped to get more than two years out of them but alas that is not the case.
Overall, these are good but not as long a lifespan as I had expected.

The two moccasins have a totally different feel. On one the tongue is fully padded while the other is not, which causes the leather tie to rub the top of my foot.

Product is well made and comfortable however it is too much like walking in ones socks.
It really needs a heel.

I've been wearing these for years. The fleece use to be twice as thick. I could get several years out of them before the inside wore out. Now it's 1 - 2 years tops. The old version was 5 stars. The new one, 3 at best.

These slippers appear to be fairly well-made. However, I ordered them in wide, as I have had foot surgery that requires me to wear wide shoes. These slippers aren't very wide AT ALL. In fact, they're pretty snug so far as width goes. If I have them on for more than 30 minutes, they really start to hurt my foot. If you want wide, comfortable, and well-made, I'd recommend you get a pair of Acorns. You'll be much happier, and you'll save quite a bit of coin, too.

I have been wearing these for over 40 years as slippers. Recently something must have changed because the laces just will not stay tied. And the repeated pulling them to re-tie them have caused three pairs to rip where the laces come through the holes. Thankfully, LL Bean has replaced each pair, and the last time someone called me to alert me to the video about tying a different knot, supposedly more secure. But guess what? They still come untied about as often and easily as with a regular bow. I'm sad because otherwise I love these but it's just so frustrating.

I have always purchased you cocoa brown slippers. However they don't come in a wide width. So this time I tried the buckskin slippery. I don't like the color, or the height of the slipper. The cocoa brown ones were higher.

This is my 3rd pair of wicked good moccasins. They are extremely comfortable and warm. My normal shoe size is 11 1/2 to 12. I ordered and returned a size 12 the last time I ordered. A 13 was just right. This pair seems to be mildly defective as the lacing on one of the moccasins is too close to the top causing the side to collapse a bit. Its a minor fault and not worth returning over. Generally, they work well.

This would have been my husband's 4th pair of "wicked good slippers". Ordered usual size knowing that they would stretch over time in width . However they were way too narrow and uncomfortable. Sadly had to return .

Love all my LL Bean items, but the slippers I purchased the left foot was noticeably larger than the right. I would say 1/2 to a full size different. Right foot was perfect. I had to return the pair and will try again this fall.

I bought these January 2020. They are comfortable and still in good condition except for the insoles, which are not replaceable. As the pictures show one is worn down to the backing at the heel, ball of the foot, and toes. The other is not so noticeably worn but is bunched up in front of the ball of the foot making it uncomfortable. I wear these a lot. If a year is all you can expect I might be able to accept that. But fact that the slippers are otherwise in good condition makes me really question why the insoles aren't replaceable. They're fairly expensive so I'm going try something different that has a replaceable insole. I would recommend these to someone who doesn't mind buying fairly expensive slippers just because the insoles have gone bad.

My first pair failed at 12 months when the stitching cut through the leather on the toe. The second pair failed at 14 months when the stitching on the sole wore through. Though VERY comfortable, I was hoping for a longer lasting slip-on shoe for inside the house. I don't think I'll reorder....

I've bought these before several years ago. Very comfortable, but the pair I just bought (IN LIGHT GRAY) i received today. They fit true to size, but there just isn't that much support in the heel, plus what I received today was far from LIGHT GRAY. These were a DARK GRAY. I really wanted to buy the GREEN ones when they came back in stock, but not now. I can't depend on what's shown in a photo, so I'll buy all my shoes now in person, that way I know for sure what I'm getting. So don't give up on your malls folks, we still need them.

The soles of this shoe is the only uncomfortable issue I found. They are ribbed type which at my age (79), makes them want to grip the floor too much. That having said, I find them very comfortable, easy to put on, take off and otherwise worth the purchase.

I purchased these slippers in a EE width. The toe area doesn't seem to be any wider then the regular slippers I just replaced because they were too narrow.

The Wicked Good Moccasins are quite comfortable, without socks; with lightweight socks they are too snug. The size 9 would be too loose without socks; so an 8 1/2 would probably be ideal, but LLBean doesn't have half-sizes. The lining is beginning to bunch at the toes; by summer, that should pose a problem with fit. The biggest issue is that the laces do not stay tied. I live in a townhouse and almost tripped down the stairs from the second floor. FYI, the video showing how to tie a sailor's knot is useless; the fingers of the man demonstrating the method block the critical steps. Since the sailor's knot is too hard to tie, the laces should be longer so they could be double-knotted.

Comfort, fit and warmth were great. However, these slippers left horrible scuff marks on our wooden floors. Prior slippers from LL Bean (of the same style) did not do this. I am assuming that there is some type of coating on the soles that is causing this.

I purchased these for my husband in the fall and he loved them! They were very comfortable and cozy. However, he has worn them pretty much everyday for 6 months and they look like they're about 6 years old... honestly a great slipper but they did not last.

To make these truly wicked good: Please make the trim around the edges more plush. Looks cheap. Also the lining at the heel is skimpy and almost non existent.
The trim on edges is long but not thick enough.
