Fit well and are pretty easy to don and doff.. but noticeable lack of arch /sole support (great for lounging around, but not so hot for climbing stairs.

I bought these based on a review of slippers in the New York Times. They were to replace a pair of L.L.Bean Men's Handsewn, Flannel-Lined Slippers, that had the flannel lining worn out in many places. I am NOT impressed with my new slippers. The sole seems very thin and the upper seems very weak compared to my old ones. Too bad they cost far more than my old pair. I hope you still sell the Flannel-Lined Handsewn slippers when I decide to toss my new ones.

These wel made slippers have given me three problems: (1) the fleece gets dirty over time; (2) the leather thong bow keeps opening and needs to be retied; (3 I have periferal neuropathy and the soft sle left me feeling pain after a while

purchased based on wide width. received, wore about 45 min and had to remove. toe box was way narrower than I was expecting for a wide. other workmanship such as ; quality of leather, stitching and outer sole was good though.

Nice looking slipper but the fuzzy liner isn't as comfortable as you'd expect (different thickness from left to right foot) and it's impossible (yes, impossible) to keep the laces tied. I'd be better off with a fabric liner and no laces. These slippers are not worth the money and I wouldn't buy them again.

The quality has been steadily going down. The back is so thin. I doubt it last this winter!

These moccasins are the best. I bought them for my husband. His old ones finally gave out. They were easily ten plus years old. He loves them!

I've been buying these regularly for over ten years, but they have downgraded the quality in my last two purchases over the last year. Nonetheless, they are still better than all the competitors.

The shoes appear well made but the lack of 1/2 sizes combined with the rapid compacting of the shearing and material stretching makes them too loose to safely use.
They were very comfortable for the first week but suggest you consider something available in 1/2 sizes and a more rigid sole for better support.

returned this pair because they were so asymmetrical they did not look like they belong together. I feel like the quality has changed :(

These slippers replaced similar ones from another manufacturer that were a lot more comfortable. These look well made but are not very comfortable even after wearing them for several weeks. Also, the tags attached to the inner soles are stiff and scratchy, adding to the discomfort.

Purchased the dark green moccasins during the holidays. I find them comfortable once broken in. Just know that you'll be tying one or both laces on a near-daily basis. I would not recommend these for anyone unsteady on their feet because these laces are too thick and won't stay tied. And a few times it's felt dangerous, nearly tripping due to this flaw.

Not as good as they used to be. I've been buying these for our extended family for almost forty years. They are lasting a full couple of years less than they used to. Both the outer and inner soles show wear within the first year.

Got these as Christmas gift from my sister and brother-in-law and loved them the minute I put them on, unfortunately it was short lived as the right slipper literally fell apart where the soul attaches while rest of slipper is okay along with the left one. I emailed and got nowhere and my family has bought alot from you over the years so was upset and honestly shocked that for $80 didn't last a month while everyone says nothing but positive things about L.L Bean. I'll try and attach photos.

2.5 months old, hasn't worn much, and my husband mentioned last night the inside had lost shearling. I was surprised how bad when he showed me. Called this morning and LL Bean is sending replacement pair. The customer service rep mentioned her husband had bought her a pair for Christmas and she was noticing similar issue with hers.

This was my second pair of the LL Bean "Wicked Good" moccasins. The first pair lasted 7-8 years, after which the leather on the outside of the right moccasin began to tear apart. My main complaint with them was that the leather thongs would not stayed tied at all. The thong was too big and coarse to hold a bow. I even tried gluing the knot together, but it ultimately still came apart. Having the thong work properly was essential because, while, when the slippers were new, the pile kept them snug ( almost too tight). But when the fleece compacted over time, the slippers became quite loose and the thongs were needed to keep them from slipping off. With the second pair I ordered 9 wide. To my dismay, both thongs were even thicker and wouldn't stay tied even for short periods of time. They are tight both in length and width, but I hesitate to return them knowing how loose they get once the fleece pile compacts. I viewed the video on tying a sailors "bow". I don't care for the look of it but will try it anyway.

The quality seemed very good, but the soles marked up my hardwood finished floors in a way that no other similar moccasin ever has. I would have kept them but for the fact that they marked up my floors.

Nice but runs quite small. I am an 11.5-12 and ordered 12 but I needed 12.5-13 I think. Materials (fake fur) were quite underwhelming too.

If you have no hobbies and nothing else to do, these are for you. You can spend all of your time re-tying the laces. I wear them as you would expect, for a couple of leisurely hours in the evening when it is cold. I am not walking more than a few hundred steps. I have to tie them once or twice each time I wear them. The crude leather thong tie is a bad specification of this or any other moccasin. In fact it would be even worse if they were shoes that you wore for hours. Extremely annoying, to say the least. It's too bad because they are warm and comfortable. The laces are not really long enough to double knot and anyway, it creates a giant wad of leather on top of the moccasin.

I loved my LL Bean slippers over the years. However, size has always been an issue. My big toe has always been jammed into the end. A size up was like walking in a boat. Why do you not make half-sizes? I tried the slipper moccasin one more time. Low and behold, the length work, but only because of less fur inside. And to my chagrin, the sides were at least 1/2 inch lower than what I have. I want my ankles warm. I returned them and switched to another brand.

Fits small. Purchased size 12. Length is fine but foot volume is tight.

I've had several pairs over the years and I really like them, comfortable, well made. This last order, not so good. The box was marked 8 Medium, as I ordered, but the shoes were marked 8 Wide. Also, it appeared that while the soles were paired left and right, the uppers looked like two rights - weird. Not a real problem for slippers but disappointing.

Laces will not stay tied. It becomes a tripping hazard.
