These slipper Mocs, with a non-slip sole, are very comfortable and replace a 30-year-old pair of similar footwear from another manufacturer with extraordinarily slick soles. As an older individual, the tread on the sole is an important feature for me. As for the size, while LLBean recommends buying a size up for those with half-sized feet, I bought down to 7 rather than up to 8 for my 7.5-sized EE-plus wide feet. It was the right call for me. The left shoe is slightly snug, and the right fractionally less so. I expect the left will get a tad looser as the fleece packs down and the slipper stretches.. Had I bought up to 8, I expect that I would have had to return them as too loose. I've only worn these about a half-dozen times as I usually only use slippers on Saturday mornings when I don't immediately exercise upon arising, but I feel confident these will serve me well over the coming years.

These are probably the third - or fourth - pair of slippers I've bought for my husband. They keep his feet warm and he wears them every day. I replace them when he wears the soles out. Highly recommend.

Bought these for my husband. The fit is perfect, especially because he has a wide foot. He wears them daily when he is in the house.

My son loves these moccasins- he wears them around the house and even to hang out with friends because they are so warm and cozy!

I've been getting these moccasins for several years. Constant use, they last about a year, two years if you don't mind the fleece wearing out.

Gift for husband who has trouble getting a comfortable shoe. He loves these slippers, warm, great looking and fit perfect. Happy Hubby

Very nice slippers keep my feet toasty warm. Love the look and fit one of the few slippers I could find in a wide. Rubber sole allowes me to go outside on deck don't think I would walk on the grassy area they are to nice to dirty up. Best slippers ever hands down !

My husband loves these slippers! Just bought him his second pair to replace the first pair which wore very well, but needed a replacement. He says they are the best - wears them immediately when he gets home fro work. They are soft, warm, comfortable and sturdy. Who could ask for more!

I have tried many pairs of slippers over the years, and always scrapped them as uncomfortable or inadequate. These new LL Bean slippers are very different. They are comfortable and warm, and can be worn outdoors. Quality seems excellent. I have only had them a few weeks, but have worn them a lot. Could be the last pair I ever buy.

I wear my slippers most of the day around the house and these are the only slippers that I have found that fit (wide feet) and last.

Bought these for my 16yr old son and he loves them. Wears them all over, house and school. He says they are super comf!!! They are durable and the inside molds to fit your foot so perfectly. Fit great, with or without socks.

I was a bit worried at first when I felt the shearling inside, as it didn't feel all that soft. My worries were quickly allayed, however, when I tried them on and felt that they hugged my feet perfectly and kept them toasty warm the entire time. I got these as they were recommended by The Wirecutter, and I have to say that I highly recommend them as well!

I had gotten my own pair a few months ago, and I look forward each day when I get home to put mine on. Then I went on to get a pair for my elderly father. He wears them all the time! What can I say but they are the standard by which all other slippers and moccasins are compared to. Quality, workmanship, comfort is outstanding, and each one is beautiful in design. Go straight for the best!

I bought these for my husband, he just loves them. He wears a 9 1/2 EE so ordered the next full size up. Perfect fit. He loves how they keep his always cold feet WARM. The only thing better is if this wonderful insides were in his steel-toed work boots, too :) Thank you LL Bean I have a happy husband.

For Christmas I purchased 4 pairs (2-9's & 2-10's) for my 3 boys and my husband. I wound up keeping the 2 9's and returned the 10's only because my husband and one of my sons said they were too thick and didn't want their feet too hot:). With that said, the moccasins do what they're made for! My other 2 sons love them! I actually bought 3 women's pairs for my mom, mom-n-law and myself:)!
