I've been a Minnetonka fan for years, but about 6 years ago their quality went WAY down and I switched to L.L. Bean mocassins (even tho' they're made in China) and they lasted well into 2 years. I wear them at least part of every day...in the summer heat and in the winter snow. They are tight for about a week and then fit right to your feet after that. Good value, superb quality, and long lasting.

So, I've owned one pair of these prior, and they lasted me probably 2 years before all the shearling hair was gone. LL Bean replaced them, and they lasted me another 4 or 5 years. I personally think "lifetime warranty" was satisfied. I don't expect a pair of slippers to last 2 years let alone 5. That being said, I think the hair was falling out because I ordered them too small last time, so I ordered a size up. They felt good right off the bat, but I'm still kind of concerned about the fit once they wear in. They might be a touch big, but I'm an 11.5 and that's not an option. Overall though, I would say this is one of the best feeling and constructed pair of slippers I've ever owned. The craftsmanship is obviously there, and the rubber sole is great for going to to get the paper, the mail, or just stay around the house. I would highly recommend, and just caution you to make sure you play around with the size to get the best fit.

Great slipper! I have purchased many of these over the last 20+ years and they never fail to impress me. Great comfort, durable, love the rubber bottoms so I can wear them outside as well. Highly recomended!

I was worried about ordering these for my husband because his feet are EEE width, which means they're too wide for most footwear that offer only two width options. Also, he wears a half-size shoe, so I wondered if sizing up would make the slippers too loose. Well, he got them and, first of all, they were wide enough. They were indeed a little loose, but he tightened them up with the cord and said they're great. Now to see how they hold up over time. If they prove to be durable, we'll be ordering these again for sure.

Comfortable and keep my feet warm

Bought these for husband's birthday; his feet have "spread" as is common with us seniors.so had to get a size larger and wider. So far very comfortable and roomy. They're roomy enough so he can wear them with socks.

My first pair lasted about 5 years. I wear them every day. Just a great slipper. Can't beat it.

The last time I bought my husband these slippers was 10 years ago at least. He did abuse them a bit by wearing them outside but they still lasted over 10 years. Can't go wrong buying LLBean slippers!

I told a friend I had just gone to LL Bean and he immediately said: "Buy the moccasins - they'll change your life!' Needless to say, I already did buy them - my second pair. These are extremely comfortable. If there's anything to quibble about is that they do wear out quicker than I'd like, but that's perhaps I wear them so often. It's really just the inside that eventually falls into place and wears away a bit. Oh well, I'll just have to replace them every few years. Buy them a size up. I'm a 10.5 shoe, and the 11 fits perfectly.

These slippers keep my feet very warm without causing them to sweat. The slippers appear to be very well made and should last multiple years which justifies the cost.

I'm not much of one to write reviews on everything I get, but once in a while a product stands out enough to make me do it. These moccasins are amazing. they have some actual sole on the bottom, so they are suitable for walking outside on occasion. but it's the fuzzy lining that just pampers your feet. Imagine, if you will, a long day on your feet, wearing heavy workbooks, walking miles through the day. Then kick those boots off and put a pair of these on. Soft fuzzy lining that forms to your feet. it's like putting your feet in a cloud. it doesn't get any better than this. a previous pair were still holding together after three years, although they were due for replacement. I've also tried other slippers over the years, but nothing quite compares to these. Just do it. your feet will thank you
