I've always loved LL Bean for its quality products. My husband has a pair of the original duck boots from 20 years ago and they are still good. I brought these updated ones for my son for the winter. He loves them. They are comfortable and keep his feet warm and dry. He used them for the first time yesterday to shovel snow from the driveway. Definitely recommend. LL Bean products are dependable and in an environment where we are trying to reduce waste, these will last for years to come.

I needed new boots to withstand a western Massachusetts winter with snow and cold. So far they have lived up to everything that was noted in description. Excellent warmth, even with thinner socks. No leaks. Comfortable for prolonged wearing. Definitely recommend.

I've had these since 2015. Use them for snow shoeing, snow throwing and anytime I need to be out in cold snow. I have very cold sensitive toes thanks to them being frozen once upon a time. After five years they have held up exceptionally well, not the toes, the boots, and have keep my feet warm. Even the laces are still in good shape. Of all the Maine Bean Boots I have, and I have a few, these are my favorite winter boot.

These are real snow boots. They fit great with insoles added inside the liner or really thick socks. Great for snowshoeing or standing in cold snow environments. Just as warm and dry as my old "lifty"Sorrel boots but with better traction on ice. Can still be slipped on and off for quick dashes outside if you loosen the laces all the way.

Purchased last winter. I have enjoyed having my feet warm when I blow snow on my tractor for hours. The floor is metal and will rob your feet of warmth. These snow boots really slow the heat loss for me. The best snow boots I have purchased in years.

I bought these boots two weeks ago because I needed a warm boot for winter hare hunting. My biggest complaint was how long it took to process the order, but ordering just before Christmas was not a bright idea. I hunt in snowshoes and find the tread on these boots to be excellent for the bindings I use on my traditional snowshoes. I wear a size 12 shoe but ordered a 13 and with heavy hand knit wool socks they fit good and are very warm. I wore Mucks the last two winters as my 25 year old bean pac boots with chain tread wore out. Mucks make my feet sweat and then freeze. Those old Bean pacs, made in Maine were great. These new ones are very good so far, but can't compare to those that used to be made in Maine. Bring those back and I will buy them in a heartbeat. As far as these boots, I will review them after a winter's use and miles on snowshoes chasing hounds.

My wife purchased these boots and loves them. She has a 8.5 woman's size with a wide width so she purchased a men's 7 which is wider than a woman's boot. A size 8.5 in a women's boot is the same size as a size 7 in a men's boot. Happy Wife!

Received my new boots last evening, just in time for a modest January snowstorm today. Love them right out of the box. Normally wear size 9, ordered size 9, perfect fit (without extra socks). I ordered these boots specifically because I have always been a fan of the feel and warmth of felt lined winter boots. These don't disappoint. Love the color (root beer), styling, fit, and feel. If I could change one thing, I would have preferred a coarser, lug style bottom. Hopefully the sole pattern doesn't wear out too fast.

My 13 year old son loves these boots. They are warm and waterproof for the cold Boston winter.

Bought these boots for snow shoveling; for years I've used basic Wellies and my feet froze. We recently had the first snowstorm of the season and these boots kept my feet toasty! Sizing seems accurate. They are very comfortable; after shoveling we went for a walk to enjoy sunrise and the boots were still very comfortable. I'm looking forward to wearing them through the rest of the winter - but not to the shoveling!

My husband's snow boots needed replacement so I first bought the traditional LL Bean boots. Husband said the fit was fine but the boot was too heavy. This style boot is more to his liking.

Just got these boots and I wear a size 11 in most boots and shoes and these fit perfectly to size. These boots look great and are very comfy. I look forward to many years of winter snow blowing and shoveling with these. Thanks L.L.Bean for American jobs and quality products.

I brought these for my son. Who did not have any winter boots at all. The ones in the past that we purchased never made it past a winter season. He likes to be outdoors most of the time. The boots in the past were always getting wet, cold and never fit correctly. so for chirstmas this year I decided to purchase the LL bean boots. we have never had any LL bean boots. I heard that they were durable and good. But, that even surprised me even more with the quality that they were made with. The warmth they gave him. The fit was perfect. I chatted on line with one of your consultants - I was not sure of I sure have gone a bigger size or not. In the past with boots we always had to go a bigger side and they never fit correctly. The consultant told me to stay with his origianl size and she was right on with that. he is so pleased with his boots how compable the boots are. he cannot get over how warm they keep his feet. we had a snow storm shorlty after He received the boots. he was so pleased with how they performed. Didnt get wet, his feet was warm the entire time he was outside. great product. we will be ordering more from LL bean for sure. thanks, debby clutter

Bought these in November to be prepared this year. I wasn't disappointed. Took a 1/2 mile round trip to mailbox in 27 degree weather with 6" of snow. Then shoveled walk, deck and chicken coop. One and half hours later my toes were as warm and dry as when I started. Found that they fit well, especially since I had a bunionectomy a year ago and some shoes are painful and tight. These have so much padding I don't limp while wearing them.

I had been looking for a new pair of L.L. Bean snow boots to replace the ones I have had for a really long time. After having searched through the boots for women, I took at look at the snow boots for men. These boots were a great find!! They're just as comfortable and stylish as any boots for women. Let it snow!

These are warm, give fantastic traction, and are mostly good at keeping the snow out of the boot. My socks are slightly wet after delivering mail all day in the snow. It's not sweat since I'm a rural carrier that has a 50 mile mounted route.
