I've had a pair of these for so many years that I can't recall when I purchased them; they are great!. Now my son has discovered these boots and I am lucky to find them when I need them. Problem solved - I just bought him a pair for xmas!

Both my husband & I have had Bean Boots for many years. This pair is for my son whom wanted the same thing as we have as he wore mine a lot last year. He has narrow feet and so ordering the narrow size online (arrived within 3 days of order) fit much better than the meduims we purchased in the local store and was able to return with no issues. My son is looking forward to the next storm as he knows his feet will be warm and dry.

Just worked for hours outside sawing and moving tree limbs after the freak October snowstorm hit New Jersey. The ground was half snow, half slush, and i had to drag tree limbs through puddled water up 1 to inches many times to get them to the street. My LL Bean Gore Tex boots were perfect. Even though the leather uppers got wet, my socks were dry when i finally took them off. Excellent boots.

Ordered two pair for my husband because he wears a 10.5 and I didn't know what size to buy. He kept the 10 and returned to size 11. He loves the boots! Returning the boots to LL Bean was very easy. I have 3 pair of LL Bean boots and love them all!

the boots size fit just the same as any work boot that I have owned beforehand. It fits well and the comfort is super, good inserts, I look forward to styling in the wet weather now.

I ordered a boot by using the size chart provided. I have a 10 1/2 size so I ordered the full size 10. The boot was tight, so I sent it back for an exchange size 11. I should be getting the exchange in a day or two. The free shipping and exchange has worked quickly and with no hassel. (GREAT job LL Bean

Awesome boot. Needed another pair as my son has taken over mine for his hunting endeavors.

Given their reputation I expected durable, well made boots. What surprised me, however, was how comfortable they are. These are among the most comfortable boots I have owned. For American made boots of such high quality the price is very good as well. I ordered mine one size smaller than my usual shoe size, as recommended, and the fit is perfect.

I've had a pair of these boots for many, many years, and they are great. My 13 year old son was wearing mine since he outgrew his old boots, so I bought him his own pair. (Same size - 13 - Big feet!). They are warm, dry, very comfortable, and wear extremely well.

Best item of its kind on the market. You can get cheaper versions somewhere else, but you wont find a better warranty and resource for repair. PLUS THEY ARE AMERICAN MADE, BY AMERICAN WORKERS IN MAINE. I'll pay a few bucks more for that, we all should. Remember, you get what you pay for. I have a pair that are 25 years old and still going strong.

This is a great boot. I am very happy with the quality. The fit is exactly as everyone says..they run large..I wear an 11 EEE shoe and I am very comfortable in a 10 M boot. I think the Insulate and Gore-Tex are worth the extra investment.

I have been waiting for these boots for a month, and wow! is it worth it. They are comfortable, warm, waterproof and fit perfectly. My feet are a true size 7, but wide, so I usually end up in a size 8 boot, but I got these in a 7W and they are just right. I have a fairly high arch, but can get my foot into them without too much trouble (the tongue is fastened all the way way up). They are perfect for walking the dog through the snow and slush of an Ohio winter--no more wet cold feet. They are much lighter and easier to walk in than the much heavier Baffins I sent back. So happy I got these instead.

Bought these boots with a HUGE lead time - said they would get here in April, but they arrived in a couple weeks after ordering... so I was EXTREMELY happy about that. Since I finally have warm, water-proof boots, it has not snowed. I can only assume that my finally having boots that are made for this weather is the cause. As everyone states - buy a size smaller. I did, and they are quite big. Will be good for thick socks.

Love the boot. I originally bought the basic boot, but thought about it some more and went back and upgraded to the Thinsulate/ Gore Tex. I'm going to use these all the time and they're going to last forever, so we'll go with the top o the line!

Since 1969 I have worn my old Marine Corps boots, and my wife gave me new LLBeans. I should have got them forty years ago! You don't even need to break them in to get comfortable. Tell Emily Uncle Daver is one happy customer!

CT has had an unusually bad winter with too much snow. I picked these boots up half way through January and am impressed with my investment. They keep my feet warm, dry, and comfortable. The women's boots were on back order until March so the delightful sales woman was able to match up a smaller, narrow men's size to fit me. My husband has had a pair for 15 years and he believes they are just as good as day one. Talk about return on investment!!!

Truly an amazing pair of boots. Extremely well made. Very comfortable. You will not find a comparable boot at such a good price. After reading many reviews I made sure to size down - I generally wear around an 11D. I purchased a 10W. LL Bean sent a 10M by mistake. After talking to their very nice customer service I just stuck with the 10M. I would definitely suggest sizing down in the length but be careful with the width because the boot has a thinsulate liner that makes the boot even narrower. I'm forced to wear my 10M with thin dress socks! The fact that I must wear dress socks with the boots has not been a problem. This January in NYC has been snowy and freezing, requiring me to wear these boots daily, and the thin socks were fine. The boot is extremely comfortable, I can walk all day in the city without any concerns. The boots are also extremely warm, I would be outside shoveling for over three hours and my feet would be fine (again, in just dress socks). If you are on the fence about these boots I would definitely suggest that you should get a pair. The best purchase I have made in a long time (plus they look even better with age).

The product is great but the best part was the customer service. I ordered them on line and then received a note that they were back ordered for a month. I called and got Pam from the call center in Waterville on the line. She checked the Freeport store and found a pair. She then transferred my call to the store who mailed them to me. Three days later I had the boots and in New England this year they are needed. Used them everyday for two weeks straight and are they are great!

Bought these for my son a size down, fit him perfectly. His feet are warm and dry. He hasn't had the problem of the lining coming out. The tongue being sewn in is not ideal yet not really a problem, especially considering the amazing quality of the boots.

Got my Bean Boots just a few weeks ago and have already put them to the test. They have been on a goose hunt, pheasant hunt, and two large midwest snowstorms. For both the country where I play, and the city where I work they have been absolutely perfect. My feet are comfy, warm and dry. Be sure and use the LL Bean Size Guide when ordering as they do run large.

My husband has not owned a proper pair of snow boots or rain boots as an adult, so I bought him a pair of Bean Boots with Gore-Tex/Thinsulate as a gift. When checking out, it said that it was backordered, but it blessedly arrived much earlier than expected, right before blizzard No. 2 hit Boston. He loves these boots! His feet are warm and dry, and he says they get great traction in the snow. I'm glad I followed the sizing recommendations. he was skeptical that a 10 would fit his size-11 feet, but they fit great!

Love the boots! The sizing information is correct, order a size down. However, do not order these boots thinking they are snow boots, because they are not! I would equate it to walking in snow wearing sneakers. The cold pierces right through them. My feet sweat so I want gore-tex to allow moisture to get out while being waterproof. They are severely lacking in insulation. I would recommend a thick pair of socks which would require you to order the boot size according to their recommendations. As far as comfort, they are fantastic, just NOT designed for trudging through snow!

I gave thse boots as a holiday present to my two sons and both loved them. They both live on snowy areas so they usee very frequently

Mt wife bought these for me for Christmas and they're great! She has raved about hers for years & finally got me a pair too. I've broken them in already - we've had 2 small snows since Christmas. I am definitely a fan!!
