These are the greatest! I have several pairs of Bean Boots in standard and high top, and they are great if you're going to be in the woods for an extended perion of time, but realistically they do take time to put on and lace up. These slip on mocs are great to go out for firewood and other trips a short distance from the house. I had a pair of mocs made by another manufacturer but was very glad to see that Bean now makes them. Very happy with the purchase.

I shop mostly at LL Bean and I needed something that was easy to slip on and off while working around the house. These do the trick and keep your feet dry too. Well made product and I'm sure they will last a long time. Made here and not in China.

These Rubber Moc's are awesome but we all know most of the time L.L. Bean products will exceed our expectations so no surprise there but I felt compelled to comment on the obvious with L.L. Bean footwear...the sizing. I have purchased several Bean boots over the years but have finally learned my lesson. I am a size 11 1/2. I hate it when my shoes are even slightly questionable when it comes being anywhere near too small, if my front toe touches the top end of the shoe or boot I simply won't wear it. Being an 11 1/2 most of the time it will drive me towards a 12 but then again some 11's will do the trick. I haven't been to an actual shoe store in years and purchase most things online so there is a risk of not getting the right size and returning is simply a pain in the neck so let me help you out here. Follow L.L. Beans sizing recommendations and you will be fine, don't and you will be returning or having to wear extra thick socks and buying insoles to get a proper fit, that I can promise you. I ordered a size 10 and it feels exactly like a size 11 1/2. I tried these Moc's on with a thin sock, a medium sock and a thick sock. There is no problem. Some of their lined boots don't offer as much extra room but their sizing recommendation reflects that. They know what they are doing. Why they size them so weird is another question and one that probably no one can answer. These Moc's are the only size 10's in my closet, far outnumbered by the many 11, 11 1/2's and 12's but they know it's only a number and they will be accepted as equals in time. I'll make sure they don't get lonely until then.

I have a pair of the Maine Hunting Shoes for wet work outside but wanted a slip-on for wet days in town. These are perfect! And made with the same quality as my other ones, thirty years later. They even sent a card signed by the person who made them by hand, so thanks, "Bobby", for a great pair of shoes!

I've tried to purchase these in the past at the Freeport store, but they were only sold in medium width -- no other size change could make them fit. I almost fell to the floor when I saw them within a recent catalog advertised in the wide width and ordered them immediately.. Now I have something to slip into for shoveling two to four inch snow falls. Great!

Easy on, easy off, water proof and comfortable. Just like the traditional Bean Boot without all the laces. Sizes are much larger than normal shoes. For instance, I need a size 13 loafer and wear a size 11 in this product. To avoid an exchange, you should try on in the store. Half sizes would also be helpful.

Highly recommend these slip ons! I tried on in the store to get a sense of the fit. I went down one size from my usual shoe size for the length and went wider EE for the width. This created a perfect fit. I have the above the ankle for winter snow and this slip-on pair for rainy days. Comfortable enough to wear throughout the day, whether standing or walking. I no longer have to worry about ruining a pair of shoes. When it rains or snows, I know exactly which pair of shoes I'm wearing with no worries. Peace of mind, makes these priceless!

Absolutely love the product. LL Bean always has quality items. Biggest issue we are having at the moment is size. My husband wears a 12DD shoe and we ordered the 11EE as most of the reviews and company said do. However, they were gigantic. So, we sent them back and requested an 11M. WOW! They are still flopping off his feet. We are seriously thinking of ordering the 10B. Love the shoes and want them for Ireland trip so we're gonna try once again. Beware the size though folks. It costs $6.50 every time you send them back. So wish we had a store nearby!

These shoes last forever and are comfortable and good looking. My husband wears a size 13 and that's the size I ordered, but they were a size too large. There is a store near us so we took them back and traded them for a size 12. Perfect. No hassle, even trade and very helpful sales people. I recommend these shoes and intend to purchase a pair for myself!

Just what he was looking for. He usually buys a size 10.5 or 11, but listened to the recommendations and ordered a 10. Just right!!

First, I did not believe it when they said you should order a size smaller. After wearing my "correct" size for two weeks, it became clear that my feet were slipping out with every step.
I simply called and they immediately sent me a size smaller (as they recommend) and no charge to ship/return the old pair that I had worn. They are fabulous weather shoes and the customer support is unbeatable. Thank you LL Bean

I moved back to New England from Southern California. I had been looking for an excuse to buy these shoes, I bought them size 11, (although I had read the reviews I still dismissed them) They were huge! Alas! For I live within driving distance to an actual store. I returned them no problem, and actually ended up buying a size 9 boot style (it was snowing that day). While the boots work well, I still intend to buy the rubber mock at a later date; perhaps the rains in spring will give me an excuse to buy them. Great boots!

Have always enjoyed my Bean Boots, Rubber Moc.
They are perfect for rainy days and my go to when visiting family on the Cumberland Plateau!
When I state, "true to size" I mean if you follow size instructions as provided by llbean!
I wear a 9 medium in most shoes. A 9.5 medium in some athletic shoes.
I wear out the insoles - fortunately replacements are available.

I've had a pair of calf high Bean boots for years which I absolutely love, but I wanted to get something easier to slip into for warmer, Spring weather. These moccasins are excellent and are great for wet weather. They're very easy to get on & off, which I am really appreciating since I had knee surgery. I highly recommend them, and they'll last forever.

I had a difficult time settling on the correct size. Depending on the type of shoe, I range between an 8-1/2 & 9-1/2. The 8 was definitely too big, so the 7 works with a medium weight sock. ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE, is that the laces loosen very quickly. I am always having to tie them.

Had to exchange for one size down in EE width. Half sizes would be nice for those that wear them. Nice shoes, perfect for wet and muddy conditions.

First of all, the shoes do run a full size larger. We bought a pair for our UK trip and they were great except that the shoe was a bit too long. When we got back, we called and asked if there was any chance of exchanging them for a fee. They immediately sent a new one size smaller shoe at no charge including the return. One could not ask for better customer service. The shoes, are fabulous. Wet outside, dry inside and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

I don't care what people say about the sizing of the moc. Once you figure out what size fits you done. I have 6-7 pairs of these Mocs and have been wearing them as my regular shoe for over 30 years now. When I'm out and about, there on my feet. Easy on and off. Very comfortable. I usually get one new pair a year but I have a hard time getting rid of a pair. So I always have extra backup. Love this moc. Keep up the good work LLBean.

I love these shoes! I have had several pairs of these through the years. They are great for cold or rainy weather and snow if you have it. We don't down in LA (Lower Alabama) but these are great in any weather. I have a narrow foot and these are some of the few shoes of any kind offered in a narrow width. They fit well and are easy to slide on and off. I wear them around the house like slippers in the winter. When I buy a new pair I move the older pair over to my "work" shoe category and use them to work in the yard. I wear these shoes more than anything I own. Can't say enough good things about them. I even wear them to church with jeans. I hope L.L Bean never stops making these!

Purchased Rubber Moc as replacements for same item eaten by my new pup. He apparently appreciates the fine craftsmanship and quality leather in my prized footwear. These are so good, he located my wife's pair and ate the leather upper off of hers too! Difficult to get out and about without these on our feet during winter. Have to replace her pair PDQ. On serious side, these are comfy, if matched with appropriate sock thickness. Easy to slip on to get the dogs out of doors on that urgent moments notice in foul weather. I wear them while driving to and from the hockey rink. Other winter footwear just to clumsy to wear while operating vehicle.

This was/is my second pair. After 19 years, my first pair still do not leak but they are wore down. I sell cars and if rain is in the forecast my Beanboots are on my feet - plain and simple. As a matter of fact I have them on today.

I needed a waterproof shoe that I could slip on and off quickly on rainy days. Now that I have these, I wear them all the time. I normally wear 10 1/2 wide and ordered a 9 wide, as directed. It fit very well with regular socks.
