Great fit, looks like a different design from my 20 year boots - hope they last as long! lol

I absolutely love these boots! Got them for my son who has wide feet and they are a godsend. Comfort AND function. Highly recommend.

Comfortable from the start. Very generous cut and width. Great with thick wool socks in cold weather. "Chain" link tread very secure on ice and frozen snow. Note: These boots have the original high tongue that is sewn right to the top to keep snow OUT! I treated the sewn seams with mink oil for use in heavy wet snow.

Great looking comfortable waterproof boots. Great in snow and rain. Make sure to heed the fit suggestions, they will fit great if you do.

I am not easy on shoes. These boots are 10 years old and going strong. Will buy another pair.. eventually :)

This is my second pair and they're perfect for the rain or the snow. I got the 8 inch and even for just a casual walk about town, perfect. Easy to take off, decent quality.

Boots were a gift to daughter who wears a women's size 12 Narrow and a size not provided by LLBean in these boots. So she received a men's size 10 Narrow, and they're perfect!!!

Love these boots. They will last for years. Bought them as a gift for a guy who is size 9.5 in his other shoes and boots. Ended up with size 8 in these! So they do run big. For more warmth and comfort, try the LLBean fleece insoles!

Boots are comfortable and fit well. They are easy to walk in, relatively warm, and look really good. Love them.

About the only thing I might suggest for any Bean Boot owner is replace the laces with leather laces as the cloth laces are very still!

It's has very little ankle support so I don't suggest rucking in them. But as far as walking in the city snow they are perfect.

I love these bean boots..The bean boot fit is perfect (no harsh break-in required) and I love the tan color of the full-grain leather upper. It's great that LL Bean waterproofs the leather right out of the box so I don't have to worry about adding any protectorate or conditioner. I wanted a super clean appearance with the rubber bottom. I applied a favorite tire shine product (Armour Al gel) liberally to the brown bottom (not the chain outsole) I let it dry to a tacky finish overnight. The next morning I took a soft dry cloth and wiped down the rubber bottom to get rid of the tackiness.The results...a beautiful satin finish that is not too shiny and not tacky at all. This super clean satin finish will make the boots really stand out in a crowd. Give it a try...you'll like it. (and I chatted with the pros of LL Bean and they confirmed applying this satin-finish process is perfectly fine and doesn't harm the boot at all. They said, "Go for it" It's a great look !

I bought these boots as a Christmas present for my husband, thinking it was the gift he didn't know he wanted and I was right. Perfect, comfortable fit right out of the box. They're also great for our midwestern seasonal changes as my husband can adjust the thickness of his socks for the weather and still be comfortable. Things become classics for a reason and this boot is no exception. I think I hooked him for life.

These boots were extremely comfortable from the moment I wore them. As others have recommended, you'll want to get them one size smaller than what you traditionally wear. But I promise you won't be disappointed with the comfort and style of them!

10.5 EEE is my normal size. Bought 10EE Bean size. Perfect fit. Love these for working a vineyard in Oregon.
