I liked the jacket, I got it large because I purchased a hoodie to double layer worked out great and it's super light and warm.

I'm very happy with my 850 Down jacket. The color is great and it is very warm. I live high in the Rocky Mtns with single digit temperatures and I have been very warm! So happy that I can purchase a jacket of this quality and style in plus sizes!

I saw this jacket online but went into the store to see it and try it on. I am usually a small in every other brand of winter coat, but this one ran a bit large, and the extra small fits perfectly, with room for layers. My husband and kids ended up buying it for me for Christmas. YAY! I got it in dusk blue. I love the color! Its a super light jacket but plenty warm. I have super warm and long parkas for the bitter cold days, but this is perfect for the milder winter days in the Midwest. The shorter length is great for outdoor activities.

Women's Ultralight 850 Down Jacket is perfect! This is a jacket that I will wear for many winters.

Very pleased with this coat. It is lightweight and keeps you very warm. I also like that it is a packaway style which helps with our packing for trips. The color dusk blue is very pretty. A nice, comfortable coat.

This coat is as advertised...ultra light, warm, great fit, beautiful color. Thinking of getting another in different color. Recommend

Absolutely love this jacket! I bought the juniper color and it's gorgeous. The outer shell is lightweight and you do have to be careful not to snag on sharp objects, it's a bit more delicate than most outer shells. It's very lightweight and very warm. I walk daily, even when the temps are below zero. I add a turtleneck or wool long underwear, and I'm set to go.

I purchased this jacket in a petite and the sleeve length was perfect. The jacket is warm and very lightweight and I love the plum color.

The light weight and stuffability of this jacket makes it ideal for winter traveling. It's comfortable and flexible for driving, and it fits easily into any carry-on bag for flying. The self-contained pouch is neat, but mostly I just cram the jacket into my backpack after I get to the airport. The jacket fits well. I ordered a size up to make sure I could zip it up over a sweater- turns out I can close the jacket over my thickest cable-knit sweaters with no problem. The pockets are capacious. The front zipper works very smoothly- no snags. The outer material is nicely water resistant and keeps me dry in heavy rain. The color (light blue) was as shown in the photo and it is lovely. My one concern is warmth- the jacket is not nearly as warm I expected and I would be astonished if the temperature rating is truly as advertised. It's fine with layers, but not warm enough for me over just a light top.

This jacket is my new go-to. It is warm and lightweight. Packs easily for travel. The size fits me and accommodates layering. I also love the Dusk Blue color. Thank you for carrying larger sizes. I have tried to buy a down jacket locally, but stores don't seem to carry larger sizes for women and men's jackets are too snug in the hips and too long in the sleeve. This jacket fits great!!

I really love this jacket. I love the slimming fit. I got the neutral black even though there seems to be so many nice colors. Maybe I'll go back for another one. I know I'll wear this a lot. It's very comfortable. The fit is slightly large. I may have been able to wear a medium, but I like the loose fit.

Great mid weight everyday jacket. I live in Alaska so this is not my cold weather, be outside all day jacket but rather my do everything else jacket. It's great quality and perfect for my needs!!

I love this jacket. It the warmest one I ever had. It fits nicely , slightly tailored so you don't get that boxy look.

I first ordered a small and medium because I own both sizes in LLBean clothing. Both were very big. I never thought the xs would work bc I have longer arms. I ordered anyway and it fit perfect! So this runs a bit big. Color is beautiful. I wish the jackets had the interior jacket color on the zipper like the dark blue has but it's a great jacket. Warm!!! Haven't worn in rain yet but it states it's water resistant so I'm hoping it keeps some rain off as I'll be wearing this to Ireland in February! Glad I bought it.

I have these 850 jackets in all weights; this is the 4th, replacing my first one which was now too large after I lost weight. They are wonderful, almost weightless, and very warm. Their only negative is that the thin outer fabric can be damaged by something sharp. Not recommended for working outside with tools or such things!

The coat states it's the "warmest" but I do not find it all that warm.

Very nice lightweight yet warm jacket coat. Upon ordering, didn't realize that it didn't have straight across hem and linger in backside. Unfortunately returned because of this and was surprised it was shipped in a bag with shoe boxed item which caused box to puncture the jacket. Usually llbean is more careful in packaging. Though return process very accommodating as usual.

It was just what I thought I wanted-light weight but warm, so that was great. It had lots of room for layering, also great, but that comes at the expense of styling. It would be nice to have both.

I can't believe the forest gray is in the men's 850 and not women's! I want a new 850 for myself and my husband. The forest gray is too light for him but just right for me! The other women's colors are boring except blue but I have a similar blue. My husband has navy. What color can I get him? Ok. Olive is ok but it's the only color I like for myself. Darn! I'll wait another year.

Great light jacket, like wearing a cloud. Best without a thick layer underneath as the shoulders, upper arms are not too roomy.

I took one star off due to the sizing, I am a petite 5ft tall and 102 lbs, I do wear usually size Small from LLBean, this time it was a bit bulky, a XS size would have been probably perfect, I kept the well constructed, light and warm puffer jacket. It seems that the sizing was on the large scale for a Small.

Light weight, quite warm, looks sleek and fits well.

I bought the gold which I love. But the down feathers showed through the light colored jacket material, making it look dirty. Every seam was gray and the whole jacket looked striped because of the lightweight shell. Otherwise would have loved it!
