This is a great jacket. The fit is pretty much true to size, though an extra few inches longer in the torso would be awesome for those of us who are on the taller side. That being said, I don't mind the length as it is now. There is a slight bit of extra bulk in the shoulder area, but that could come in handy if layering, which I have not yet done. It's difficult to find sleeves that are long enough for my gorilla arms in general, but these are perfect and hit right below the thumb joint, without interfering with use of my hands. It weighs practically nothing, but keeps me warm and cozy. I like that the pockets are nice and deep, and REALLY love the interior zippered pocket. Overall, a winner.

This petite jacket is quite warm and very light - a good combination. I especially like the dusty blue color and the fact that it was on sale was an additional benefit!

I actually bought two of these, one for myself and one for my daughter in law for a gift, which I haven't gifted yet. I've worn mine numerous times and find it very comfortable and warm. I got them both on sale for a tremendous markdown and it is a fantastic value. The quality is great, and there's been no issue with down shedding which I've had with other jackets. I've gotten several compliments on the jacket. Don't hesitate, this is a great item.

This coat is just what I was looking for. I chose LL Bean because I have several sweater fleece jackets that fit me well and this coat fits well also. The color is beautiful and the coat is warmer than a sweater down jacket I previously owned from another brand. I highly recommend this coat.

After using this for an entire season of snowboarding & other wintry outdoor things, usually under a water- and windproof shell, I am ready to declare it my favorite thing ever. Super light, super warm, packable/compressible. The face fabric is silky and slides under and over other layers really well. And, it comes in a petite and fits my mom bod better than any other brand (and I did shop long snd hard). Worn on its own it's a pretty color and flattering enough (given that it is basically a puffy marshmallow). Today we were at Stowe and it was 5 degrees at the base lodge, and thus coat kept me warm. Five stars.

Really LOVE this jacket (got the teal) and will be keeping it. It does run a little big however, even with an extra long-sleeve layer underneath. I could've gotten a petite small or regular XS and I think the fit would be a little better.

After I received this jacket I realized I was wearing it for EVERYthing.....out to eat, out in the yard, errands, etc. It was getting so much use I decided to go ahead and get a 2nd jacket! The MOST comfortable jacket, lightweight, attractive all in one jacket I have ever had! (P.S. mine is a LP.) The fit is perfect. The color is the steel blue, goes with everything, packs very small.

I ordered 2 jackets for my mother in blue and black, my mother loves this gift I made her, she left her old jackets and both wears daily, she is happy, they were perfect in length and width, and the sleeves are completely at arm level. Thank you L.L.Bean for these products!

Just what I was looking for without being too expensive. I stay warm without the bulk of a heavier jacket. Love the lightweight too.

A very nice, warm jacket that is very lightweight.

I bought the hooded version of this jacket 5 years ago (and still wear it all the time). I figured I'd take advantage of the great sale price and grab this one too. The color is beautiful - the crimson is a bit richer and darker in person, more of a maroon really. It feels very high quality and fits true to size, with room for layering underneath. These jackets are like a light, surprisingly warm hug... perfect for backcountry trips, hiking, camping, travel and everything in between. Their only Achilles' Heel is that they don't do so well when wet (like nearly all down products). I recommend this jacket highly and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I needed another jacket, as I have purchased these before it was a no brainer! Seeing the crimson on sale and boy what a great sale! It arrived and I absolutely love the color. A nice strong Copper color in my opinion, pleasant and becoming! It will go with just about anything. The fit is perfect as usual and I just can't order a coat from any other company. Bean's always the best and I always come back. I am 5'9", 142 pounds and the medium is a perfect fit!

Received my jacket today. It is very nice. Got the Dusk Blue. Beautiful color. More fitted than many LLBean jackets but plenty of room for a sweatshirt under it. Very pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful jacket. Bought it in crimson (sale color - it was a steal). The color is nice, not as rusty as I thought it would be, even slightly on the maroon side. The jacket is the perfect size - not too large, not too tight. Arms are a substantial length. Of course, the quality is wonderful, and it is warm but very light, as described. It has deep zip pockets on the outside and another very deep pocket inside the jacket. My only complaint is that I wish they hadn't put LLBean on the back of the jacket, too. I'm okay with advertising this product, but the logo was already on the front...a little much. If the logo would have been in crimson instead of white, I probably would have been okay with it.

I absolutely love this coat. It is so warm and I love that it's not bulky. Everyone needs one of these!!

super nice jacket!!

This is a beautiful jacket. I have an old llbean down jacket also in a size M. The new one fits a little snugger, especially at the bottom when zipping up. Otherwise, I am delighted. Part of the problem is my newly acquired Covid isolation weight.

I was looking for a coat that I could hang next to the door and throw on when I need to step outside to fill bird feeders or go out to the market and this fit the bill. It's warm without being bulky and it's comfortable to move around in. I just wish it came in more neutral colors.

Great jacket. I blue is a beautiful color. Fits me perfectly. Moves with you and great coverage...not too short and not too long. Just right!

Ordered this jacket and received it today. I can't comment on warmth yet, but it fits perfect. Room for a few layers underneath. I wasn't sure if I would like the crimson color. It looked shiny online, but I love it! Looking forward to enjoying the outside in this jacket!
