I am so happy with this coat. Light but so warm. Two way zipper is easy. Got it just in time for deep freeze.

I didn't own a down filled coat or jacket, but the weather in NC just got too cold not to have one. That took me to the LL Bean website where I scoured all the women's coats and jackets...Primaloft and Down filled. Actually I bought one of each, but want to give a review on just the down filled coat. It is the warmest coat I own now. When I get ready to go to the gym I am wearing my workout clothes, but the top is only a t-shirt. This coat keeps me very warm in a very cold car until the the heater kicks in. Even the hood instantly insulates my head and ears. The fit is perfect and I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy this coat. I bought it in "gunmetal" which is a blue/gray color all rolled into one and it's beautiful. I am so happy with this coat and I would definitely buy it again.

It's now her everyday coat! Looks great and it's snuggly warm!

Very warm, yet lite. Very much worth the money. I am an elementary school teacher who spends a decent amount of time outside. This coat has been meeting my warmth needs during Ohio winters.

I have a short down coat, but wanted a longer one. This is perfect. I love the lightweight down. It keeps you so warm without weighing you down. The design is elegant. I did order up a size to go over bulky layering items in the winter and it worked perfectly.

Fits beautifully over layers but not too big without them. Got it in my usual size M. Color is great, and it's so warm but still very lightweight. Folds down easily into its own zip compartment for easy packing. Love!

Bought as a gift for a very picky, often cold, and physically challenged (extreme scoliosis) family member. She LOVED it! Elegant styling, very light (which is important) easy to get on and off, zipper, etc. Purchased the grey color which has undertones of a bluish purple. We got the petite medium to accommodate her tiny frame and short stature and it fit perrectly!

Wonderful light weight winter coat! I already have the long version for beach walks in the winter and needed a shorter one for around town. This is a great looking coat that is incredibly warm.

A friend of mine, who was not cold and shivering on a European trip, had this coat. When we returned home I bought one. It is perfect at home or on the road. Cold wind, transitioning from the outside to a store, or just cold temps: it keeps you just right through all of it. I appreciate the light hood as well. It folds into its pocket for travel and makes a great lower back pillow on the plane.

My favorite coat. Purchased the jacket a few years back and wanted to get something lightweight, longer and warm. We were traveling to Canada and wanted something good for travel. This coat is warm. We did experience every season it seemed during our visit. I was concerned when it rained if I would be soaked and cold but the rain rolled off and kept me dry.

This is exactly what I needed. a coat with a smooth inside lining and most of all light weight. I was very pleased with the fabric and most of all the expert finishing of the seam lines. Plus being light weight it was very warm with a light scarf at the neck.

This is the perfect lightweight, warm winter jacket! I am 5'3" and weigh 145 and bought a size medium regular.

I have been looking for a lightweight very warm coat and this is it! That is is also waterproof, thanks to the downtek inside, is bonus since we have moved to the Pacific Northwest and the winters are more rainy and cold that the Southeast from whence we moved.

So glad I bought this coat. It's very lightweight and comfortable. I do a lot of fast walking around the neighborhood. Wearing a turtleneck and lightweight sweater (and sometimes cuddledudds) with temps in the 20's and wind blowing, it keeps me warm. I love the weight of it. I've bought coats in the "warmest" category and they are so heavy I can barely move. This one, in the "warm category," does not restrict me at all. I'm 5'3", 115 lbs and bought size small. Fit is perfect with light sweater underneath. Though if I were to wear a heavy sweater it would probably be a tight fit. The only change I would like to see is for there to be a wider variety of colors, especially lighter or brighter colors (but not white) to help make one more visible.
