This is a better fit than XXL tall. I am grateful to finally own this.

A bit lighter than I anticipated, however I find it works well when layering and to wear while driving on cool days.

This vest fits as expected, but is very, very thin. It is not as warm as I was expecting. Air moves right through the insulation. I'm keeping it, but not what I wanted.

It's very comfortable. But, based on the catalog description, I expected it to be heavier.

It fits well. It is a real warm jacket, the answer is no. would I pay 200.00 for this jacket. Absolutely not, plenty of much better jackets out there. I was really disappointed with the purchase.i have been doing business for many years.excellent quality clothings and the customer service is the best in the market

I hate it does not have a 2 way zipper. One cannot sit down and be comfortable if zippered up for warmth, or easily acces & secure a seat belt, or adjust ones personal warmth factor gradually without starting at neck - the last place I need to expose to colder temps first. @#$% Would of given it a 5 star rating if it lacked this oversite. Done with oneway zippered coats, vests... an add insult a one way zipper makes even a thin man instantly pot bellied when sitting!

The look is classic L.L.Bean but that also means it's a bit boxy and oversized (I prefer their Signature line or Slim fit). I usually wear a vest over a dress shirt for work or under a shell for added warmth, but this particular vest is too poofy for either. The performance and construction is as expected, as it's very warm and well made. I'll be returning it for a different style, something slimmer and better overall fit.

the material is soft and sturdy. Unfortunately, it is not warm enough for temperature below 50 degree F. I guess that's why is called Ultralight, because it is very thin, not very much loft, thus not able to provide much warmth retention.

Much less palpable down than an identical vest I bought last year. I am a long term customer and usually very happy with LL Bean's excellent products. But this was an unequivocal disappointment.

I bought this vest as a replacement for one that I bought in 2018 (Item number TC295908). I LOVED the old one. I lost some weight and the medium fit me too loose and so I purchased a size small in this vest. Little did I realize that it has been redesigned. The new one is GAUDY compared to the old one. In addition to the logo on the chest, there's now another logo on the back. These logos scream to me and I cannot stand them. The vest is black. If the logo were black on a black vest, I would be fine with that, but not the one on the back. There's no need to advertise LL Bean so loudly. None. If you like the vest, ask me and I'll happily tell you the maker. Also, the quilting of the new one is different. The spacing between the quilting stitches of the new vest are further apart--they're larger pouches of down. This looks really goofy to me. The old vest looked understated and smart. I WISH that I could find old stock of the old one. I chatted with customer service and I searched the internet for even a used one with no success. Very sadly, this new one is going back.
