The jacket fits well which is hard to find when you wear a petite, the color is lovely & it is nice and warm. Unfortunately I would never buy another one. The pockets white lining stand out as horrible white slashes every time the zippers are open. For me this is most of the time as I like to be able to keep my hands warm in them. What I don't understand is why this jacket has the white lining when the lighter weight jacket I have, in the same style, has a lining that matches the jacket. It is so much nicer!

Size Small is loose fitting. Not clear in on-line photo are gray flecks throughout the fabric.

I usually order size 8 or medium. Bean's sweater fleece was too large, returned it for extra small/Tall.

LLBean needs to modify their product lengths. I am petite, this fleece is super warm but the body length is so short. Fleece, jackets from any other brand is longer, even for Petite sizes. The length of their petite items, this fleece and Pima shirts are barely to your hip. I am returning this zip front fleece for a regular size one, to see if the length improves and sweater has more warmth with more coverage. Anyone who has ever borrowed this fleece sweater for warmth has also commented that it is short. Another note, I love the blue color, but the flesh colored pockets look terrible. Wish the liner fabric was matching blue, darker. It looks weird with these light pocket liners.

Love the quality of the coat, plus size arms need to be larger. Sleeves are too tight, overall fit seems correct.

I looked forward to receiving this - as a replacement for a much worn sweater. I even branched out to grey instead of the usual black. However, what the photos of the product don't show, is that the lining of the pocket is a dark grey. So if you don't have your hands in your pockets and the zip open, the pockets bulge open (it seems very bulky across the midsection in general), showing two slashes of dark grey, which spoils the look. I didn't catch onto why I was avoiding wearing this jumper - until it was too late to return (by two months...). I have a nervous zip checking twitch whenever I wear this.

The pockets are lined with white and when unzipped spoil the clean lines in appearance. Otherwise as comfortable as a sweater.

I found this jacket very fitted. I am 74 and need a fuller jacket. Even the sleeves are cut very narrow, although they were plenty long enough. The quality of the jacket seemed excellent. I had to return it however, because of the fit.

I got this to replace an old fleece jacket my father-in-law had gifted me from the company he used to work at. That old jacket was warmer than my winter coat, it was amazing! I was hoping for the same from this one. It is okay. I really like the color, and the sweatery look and feel of the outside. The collar is a bit stiff and pokes me in the face though. I'm hoping it will learn to lie flat. It's not as warm as I expected so I'm a bit disappointed by it.

Attractive sweater weight jacket. Raisin color and contrast piping in pinkish shade. Not very warm for temp below 45 degrees. Collar too high and a bit scratchy

I bought this sweater fleece in a gorgeous purple color (Bright Sapphire) 2 years ago and have loved wearing it three seasons out of the year. It's warm, it's comfortable, and it fits my short-waisted frame perfectly. To my frustration, though, one of the pocket zippers recently stopped working, and the Bright Sapphire color was discontinued. Hoping to replace it, I ordered the Arctic Blue, which is a beautiful shade, but to my surprise it has bright white pocket lining that's visible anytime the pockets are unzipped and doubly visible anytime someone sees the inside of the jacket. This odd design choice makes the jacket look cheaper than its fleecy peers and more likely to show dirt, so I sent the Arctic Blue back and ordered the Teal Blue. The Teal Blue is really more deep green than teal, but that's okay with me. What's surprising here is that it has navy trim rather than a trim in a darker shade of the same color, as is standard on other sweater fleece. I'm keeping it because it's still fairly attractive, and it has gray pocket lining instead of white, but I think it would be much prettier with a complementary seam color (darker teal) as is the case with the other sweater fleece jackets. If the Arctic Blue had had gray pocket lining (instead of white) I would have kept it instead. Ultimately I'm just sorry that keeping either fleece involved an unexpected compromise in design. But at least I won't be cold this season.
On a happier note: I had to call the Freeport store to get the teal fleece in my size and was bowled over by the superb and efficient custom service I received after the team somehow goofed and pulled the wrong color for me the first time. LLBean continues to wow me with their generous treatment of customers, and that will keep me coming back even when I have fleece design frustrations! :)

I have two pullovers that are several years old and was looking forward to having the jacket style. I was disappointed with the color as the raisin brown had more purple undertones than it looked like online. More importantly, though, the quality just isn't the same. It was very stiff, scratchy, and not nearly as soft as the older model.

Heavy duty fleece jacket, petite. Too short. Cuffs too loose. Love the color and the weight of the jacket.

I'm 5'5" tall and the sleeves were about 1.5" longer than I would like. The zipper also cuts into my throat a little so I wear the zipper down a bit. Probably designed for someone about 5'8" tall. Nice weight and color and shape. Love the inside pockets.

I love the color of this jacket, the "sweater" outer material is attractive, and the fit is comfortable. However I don't care for the white nylon like pocket linings. But I'm disappointed in the quality of the stitching on the seams. My jacket arrived O/A 14 October, and after I wore it a few hours on a plane the left side seam has come apart. I will be returning it as soon as I return to the USA from my trip overseas and hope the replacement jacket is still available in the arctic blue color.

Liked the jacket - seems warm, sturdy & nicely designed. But the multi-color LLBean logo on the right breast pocket killed it for me - if I'm going to advertise your brand, I want to be paid! Seriously, it's just too much with the multicolor and prominent placement. I kept another item that had the logo discretely placed on the side arm in a simple brown leather patch. Tone it down guys.

I love these jackets and have at least 3 of them. I bought the blue one and it is beautiful but they lined the pockets with white fabric and it is very visible when the pockets are unzipped. I'm a sewer and that was a big mistake. The pockets should be lined with a dark blue or at least a color that matches the jacket. I'm keeping it but cringe whenever I have the pockets unzipped.

I love the look, color and fit of this sweater jacket but I have sensitive skin and it's itchy around the collar. Tried washing it, but still itchy. I'll have to wear it with a high collared shirt

The fit is tight, more like a sweater. I would not consider it a jacket. You can not wear more than a tee under it.

I ordered the XL in Arctic Blue. It is a good fit and beautiful color. However, the pockets are white which isn't a problem if they are zippered close. However, once opened when your hands are not n the pockets the white lining is very noticeable. It looks like white tissues are falling out. This takes away from what otherwise would be a very attractive jacket.

I liked the jacket at first and if fit snugly but not too tight. I did not like the material though. I agree with some of the other customers who said that it was too "stiff". I felt the same way. Thought it might be softer.

The binding around the neckband/collar is stiff and uncomfortable.
I am sorry to return this jacket, which is otherwise warm and beautiful.
