This is the perfect "shoulder season" layer...I throw this on to take my daughter to school or the dogs for a walk. I love the large pockets and especially the zipper...just zip and go, no buttons to fumble with! I own 2 of these.

This is a cute, comfy, casual top. I bought the XS and it is a generous fit, with plenty of room for a t-shirt or turtleneck underneath. The flannel is soft and heavy enough that this is similar in warmth to a hoodie, but without the thickness, weight, and super casual appearance. The colors on the colquhoun (sp?) are pretty. I appreciate the attention to pattern matching across the zipper. I expect to wear this all year round- it will be a good jacket in the summer when the evenings are cool.

The only request would be to offer this in solid colors. Love the big pockets. Nice!

Was looking for something different than the typical hoodie sweatshirt, but more like a full zip sweatshirt than a regular flannel shirt. This was just the thing!! Fit is definitely relaxed, but that is what I wanted so for me it is perfect. Highly recommend! The one I got was on sale, not all colors were. Would get another if price is right. Love the plaids too.

This is my second hoodie in this soft flannel fabric, a different plaid. It has become my go-to choice for cool mornings, comfy fit. Prefer the zipper to snaps, so this one is ideal. One of my smarter decisions!

Well-made and fits me perfectly -- even the sleeves are the right length and I have short arms. Aw, heck, I'm short all over so I took a leap of faith when I ordered this flannel hoodie in Grey Stewart. I'll probably have to order another one because I'm going to wear this one out!

Purchased this for mild winter walks in North Carolina but found it equally cozy to wear around the house. Love the pockets and hood. Zipper is a bit tricky because it wraps into the shirt fabric a bit, but the design makes for a "shirt look" instead of a hoodie, so I'm okay with the zipper.

Normally I wear a medium but small was what was available. I'm very happy with the way it fits. The plaid is so rich and beautiful. Warm and very useful. Love it.

I ordered the Dress Gordon version of this flannel early in 2019. It was on back order but so worth the wait! Even though it is now April, it's still chilly in Wisconsin with snow patches here and there. Last week, I wore this flannel jacket four times...all day. Of course, it had to be washed. When my husband caught me with my nose pressed up against the dryer, waiting for the cycle to end, he said, "Oh for Pete's sake, order another one"! So I did! In true Bean form, this jacket is exceptionally well made, with a cozy hood, deep front pockets and plaids that match up perfectly. The fit is boxy but I expected that since this is more of a jacket than a traditional flannel shirt. The medium size fits well. I hate to fuss so this has been trained to the dryer and even after, still fits well. Nice job, Bean! If you ever stop making this, I'm going to start up my own factory.

Comfortable and soft. Using as a light jacket over gym clothes, walking the dogs or grocery shopping. Love the deep pockets. Wear size 12, got the large. Very happy with it. Would need a smaller size to wear it as a shirt.

I have waited since January for this back-ordered hoodie. I'm glad I did. It's really cute, fits great, the flannel is super soft, the zipped style is something different than the ordinary. It's a nice length and has a slightly rounded hemline, which I like. The sleeves are a regular shirt-type with cuff and button rather than a sweatshirt-type, which makes it look unique. Washed it right away, as I always do - no shrinkage at all. Looks great with skinny jeans and tall boots. Roomy enough for a henley underneath.

This is a great colder weather top; can also be worn as a jacket over a turtleneck or sweater. It is warm and feels good against skin. I love flannel. I will most likely purchase another one.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hoodie! LL Bean... do not change this product! It fits me perfectly and the flannel is so soft. I wish I had been better abt washing/drying my first one. It shrank a little (.I hard dried it). The others I hang dry. I bought every color... actually have 2 of the same color. It's perfect over a layering turtleneck for more neck warmth. I train dogs and the pockets are generous enough I don't need my training vest or kilt. Would love more colors!

I love this hoodie. I practically live in it. It's a great second layer. The pockets are a nice big size. The hood is adjustable so it lays flat when you just have the jacket on. I'm waiting for another sale to pick up another one.

I just love this hoodie. It is very roomy without being boxy. I have worn it in the house all winter over long sleeve t-shirts. It washed up beautifully without wrinkling. I think I will be buying another!

I absolutely love this flannel jacket. The pockets are great, you can actually fit your whole hand in them! I would love to get another one in a different color.
