I knew when I opened the package I was going to love this hoodie. I bought the grey stewart petite small, it is very soft and a bit more structured than a regular hoodie, fits more like a comfortable shirt. The fit on me is roomy but not too big, I wear a long sleeve tee under it. I am so happy it comes in petite. Looks great with my dark grey heather and also my black perfect fit pants. Great LLBean quality!

This flannel hoodie is my go to in the evenings. It is very well made and is warm and cozy. Whether I am sitting around reading or watching TV in the evening, or out on our deck, it seems to be the perfect weight to keep the chill at bay.

This is a great alternative to a traditional flannel. It looks more put together and has more structure. It's a heavier weight fabric as well. I want to buy a couple more!

Perfect weight flannel for fall days to wear as a light jacket or inside on chilly mornings. Excellent construction with attention to matching plaids. Sleeves on me were exactly long enough, and I can't say that for a lot of flannel shirts I own. Have machine washed, and dried on delicate setting, with no shrinkage or fading. It's like wearing a soft, warm hug!

This is a perfect light weight, washable jacket. I live in Japan and I bought my first of these hooded flannel jackets at my LLBean store here in Japan. Some items here are sized for Japanese shapes and I couldn't recall if my firstJacket was a regular American size or Japanese size, but I recall it was a medium. So I bought this in a medium big mistake because it is relaxed fit. My mistake as I got a fitted flannel shirt with this order in a size small and it fit very well. I will enjoy this new one, certainly, and may be tempted to order a third jacket, but in a small this time, now that I know my US catalog size. All I can add is that this shirt jacket is cozy, with good plaid matching and nice tailoring. I have washed and worn my first one to shreds, whether to wear on a chilly morning or to wear outside layered up. I love having access to excellent quality flannel that holds up. Thanks LLBean for making the effort to ship overseas.

I bought four of these flannel tops. I bought 2 large and 2 medium. I like to wear my clothes loose. The medium fit perfect. I am usually a medium but I ordered the large to wear over another shirt. A medium fits over another shirt fine. These tops are soooo comfortable. They wash great as well. I highly recommend if you like to dress casual.

Very warm and comfortable. Will be my go to fall jacket.

I'm looking forward to cooler weather so I can pull this out. So soft and so comfortable.

I needed something with just enough warmth to put on, on chilly mornings but not heavy to weight you down.

I've always liked hooded zip sweatshirts, but couldn't find one that fit or that I liked this year, so opted for ordering this flannel zip hoodie instead. (I actually didn't think such an item existed.) Not as warm as a sweatshirt, but very comfy. I usually order large in LLBean and knew with a relaxed fit this would be great. It is pretty roomy (the way I like things) and I rolled the cuffs up once for a better fit since I have shorter arms than some people.. Have enjoyed wearing it around the house and it goes well with my navy blue pants. Would consider ordering another color, but like my Dress Gordon color for now.

I love these hoodies so much that I have two and will probably buy a third. They are an excellent weight for fall and warmer winter days.

I thought this was cute the moment I saw it! Very comfortable, I wear it over my t-shirt on a cool evening when walking the dog. The only thing that could make it better, would be to have an inside pocket that Velcro shut or zipped shut. It would allow me to hang onto my keys/phone and not be concerned with them possibly falling out.

This flannel hoodie is the perfect weight jacket for late summer/early fall. The quality is exceptional and it is roomy enough for layers underneath. I bought the medium and it fit a bit large, but I love it. I would recommend this jacket.

I love this. I took it to the MN North Shore and it kept me warm and comfortable in 60-65 degree weather. Super soft. Love the hood. It's relaxed fit is great for layering. I probably could have done XS but wanted to have great layering capacity. Definitely would purchase again and probably will buy another pattern.

Love this hoodie. Lightweight but warm, purchased for trip to Wyoming. Will be perfect for winters in Florida. Excellent material. Fit true to size, I like it a little loose.

I bought this to wear as a lightweight jacket or to wear over a t-shirt or tank top. It fits perfectly for this since it is a relaxed fit, not snug and not boxy, with a nice length. I love that the sleeves are plenty long for my long arms. The fabric is soft and comfortable. I bought the Black Watch color which looks exactly as pictured. I washed it, with the zipper closed, in warm water, hung it to dry, then fluffed it for 5 minutes in the dryer. It did not shrink and there was no puckering along the zipper line. I love the leather zipper pull and the pockets.

A great pre winter jacket- going on a Fall trip in Bristol NY in late October and plan to pack ! Also pockets a must !

Good fit proportionally for short people. I don't really need another flannel shirt/jacket. But this one is available in Petite sizes! So I ordered one, and it's a keeper. Hood is roomy enough. I like the hem is enforced with a fabric tape at the inside. It somewhat weighs down the hem for a nice drape and a firmer edge, suitable to use as a jacket. Depends on the cut, I'm usually between S and M. For this one, I like how I look in S, and I think an M mightl be too wide.

This is by far one of the best flannel shirts I have ever purchased. The weight is perfect - not thin at all. I bought the Gray Stewart, small. I really, really like the look and the fit. Perfect for fall! And the hood is a great stylistic touch. This is my new go-to shirt.

Love this hoodie. I have two and both have been washed multiple times. There is some shrinkage but with it being a bit big, the shrinkage is fine. It makes a great spring, fall jacket. Please consider making it in a solid color. Jewel tones would be great! It is a great alternative to a sweatshirt hoodie.

I love this zippered front flannel, it is sooooooo soft and its 100 % cotton. I will wear it like a shirt then when gets cold I will wear it over a long sleeved shirt.......the color is wonderful too. LOVE LOVE I will wear with leggings boots and I will feel good!

I bought the Gray Stewart flannel hoodie on the daily sale, and it is a very high quality shirt in every way. The soft but sturdy twill taping all around the inside of the bottom hem makes it feel extra sturdy and finished. The zipper is solid and works well. It is neatly sewn, the fabric is soft and substantial, and it looks stylish--not sloppy. I love the classic dark gray plaid. I bought a medium; I usually wear a small or medium in knit tops, and this it comfortable big enough to wear over a regular t-shirt without looking oversized. I do not think I could wear a t-shirt under a small. The pattern lines up very nicely at the front (very important), along the right side and almost lines up along the left. Not a problem for me, given the price and excellent overall quality, and the forgiving pattern makes such things less noticeable. It is a beautiful and warm shirt--looking forward to wearing it this autumn.

Currently it is August in Kentucky so it is way too hot to wear this hoodie yet. However, I am ready for fall and so excited about this hoodie. I am a long-time Bean shopper and I believe this will be one of my favorite purchases ever. It looks to be very well made. I tried it on and the fit is perfect. It is meant to be a relaxed fit so there is room to wear a tank or tee or even a turtleneck under it. It is soft as butter right off the bat and I expect it will get softer with age. I cannot wait for cooler weather!!!

I chose the Black & White Scott plaid because I could start wearing it now, and then year round.The other colors seemed more "seasonal" It's been too warm still, but the first cool evening I'm putting it on. I love the versatility, soft comfort and ease for layering, and I love small plaids over large. So let the weather change..I'm ready.

Just love it, thick, soft flannel. Well made
