I have a Black Watch Flannel Robe and love it so much I have been checking back periodically to see if there is the same one back in stock so I can have TWO. I really like the softness and the color/pattern and wanted something to wear out of the house so I ordered the Black Watch Hoodie. The zipper situation caused me to return it. It seems the zipper is made out of a really plastic-y sort of polyester. It's really stiff and doesn't relax with the fabric. When I tried it on in front of the mirror there was a huge poof in the middle section. I was debating on keeping it but then I sat down and the chest area got a huge, comical poof in the middle. I can't wear something that creates poof where it doesn't exist. I actually liked the rest of the hoodie well enough to consider if I should take it to a tailor and see if they could put a flexible zipper in it. But I ended up ordering the Black Watch shirt. I plan to take that and my robe to the tailor, have them cut off the excess length of the robe and make functional pockets with good zippers for the shirt so I have a place for my phone, keys, and ear buds to live.

Thought about this for a while before purchasing. Love having bonus interior pockets. Negatives fabric pills and shrinks more than other LLB flannels and though I love the idea of a zipper it is too stiff for the thin flannel

This is my second one of these. I thought the petite would work better as the sleeves in my small regular are a bit long. Unfortunately the shirt length is also shorter which I do not like.

I wanted to like this jacket but matching the plaids was way off. I know I wouldn't wear it so back it went.

Not as warm as I expected and wrinkles very easily.

Not color fast. Zipper became mis shaped after wash.

Not as fitted as I expected. It honestly looks and feels a lot like a pajama top.

Even though we ordered a tall, the sleeves still aren't long enough. We will try sizing up.

Not Memorable! Too expensive. Cheap quality! Cheap & thin material.

The quality is great. The only problem I have is the size. It doesn't fit like a 3x, more like a 2x. Also shrunk after washing in cold water and air dry.

I had to return this tartan flannel hoodie because it was cut too large. I purchased it in reg medium but it was too large overall. The sleeve length and shoulders were fine. I was afraid to order a small because I figured it would shrink too much. I don't like to wear my clothes too tight and I was afraid to chance it with a smaller size. It was well made and the colors were beautiful.

Super square fit (which is noted as most relaxed fit so great if that is what you are looking for); sleeves are a bit short; fabric is a bit stiff. Pretty colors.

Unfortunately I had to exchange this for the next size up. That's when I don't like mail order. They charged my card for the exchanged item as well as a credit, only I haven't seen the credit yet. Also, a 10 day wait until I get the exchange item.

I love shirts like this. Where this zip up top fails is the length. I am 5 feet 2 inches 120 lbs. Thank goodness I did NOT order a petite---which by typical standards, I am a petite---yet this top is very short. Not sure how an average height woman would be able to wear this, unless they put a normal top under it I really wanted to wear this zipped up without having to wear another top under it that extended below it. Other than it being very short, it is a great flannel. I love the material and I love the zip up feature. If they made these in a normal length it would be perfect. Hope LLBean is reading our reviews. When a regular top is short in the length on a woman who is petite, they should clarify that it is cropped.

Love the fabric color, and weight. Construction seems good. Just too small. The sleeves are tight and tight through the shoulders. I'm not overweight or particularly large, I could wear this as is if I never washed it or needed a tee or turtleneck under it. Sending it back.

While the jacket is super cute, the sizing is not consistent across the board. Wish LL Bean would put ALL plus sizes in their stores (not just limited random 1X products). It's a pain to always have to wait for a delivery only to turn right around and return the product. Also, almost all of their tops (jackets & sweaters included), are so short waisted. I have a short torso and they still cut right at the waist. I love LL Bean products, but I wish the sizes ran bigger and all were sold in all their stores.

I thought it was nice. It was over priced for sure!

The plaid is huge. Not what I envision a Scotch plaid should be. Fit is OK. Not a jacket weight, more of a shirt.

Very pretty fabric. Shrunk in dryer though and material bunched up around the zipper and now does not lay flat.

I was so excited to see LL Bean is starting to carry tall tops for women. I am only 5'9" but long waisted with long arms for my size. Sadly, the sleeve length on this top came up short, literally. If I stood and didn't move they were just barely long enough, but any movement made this a no go...that is without accounting for any potential after washing shrinkage. My daughter is 2" taller than me and it would not work for her either. Shoulder/body fit was true to size. Please try again on women's Tall LL Bean!

Cute but pills easily, after 2 washes in my case. I expected better quality, especially at this price point. The pattern is great, colors are vibrant, fit is roomy and flattering.

I returned it because the zipper made a pointy bulge in front unless I stood up perfectly straight and still, ha ha, and I knew I wouldn't like having a "beak" on my chest... but the design and fabric was good so I'm sorry it didn't work.

I love everything about this jacket and the only reason I am giving it three stars is because after washing and drying one time it shrunk. I followed the care instructions exactly as stated and was really disappointed when I put it on after washing and the body of the jacket and the sleeves were shorter.

Cute but short in length. I like the plaid and style. I am 5'7" and bought a medium.

The shirt is warm, but the fit is weird. When I sit down, the zippered front suckers up in my lap, so it would be nice if it had a double zipper so it could be unzipped easily while sitting down. It also rides up easily.
