Before this flannel Hoodie I never wore flannel. I now have two of these, Black Watch which is so beautiful, yes, I said beautiful and now I have the Stewart Grey. I feel so smart and tidy just walking my dogs. I did do live chat before purchasing to get chest measurements on this item. Outerwear I wear anything between a large and x large I bought the large and it fits perfectly with a light layer underneath.

This shirt fit well, it is a bit small through the hips but I knew this is how LLbean normally fits so I ordered a size up. I love the shirt/hoodie it isnt too bulky, but is comfortable and looks good.

Love this plaid hooded shirt. Fabric is high quality and it's just the right weight for most fall and winter days here in the Pacific NW. Other customers should know that it runs a little larger than most other LL Bean items, in my experience. Usually a Petite Large would fit me, and that's what I first ordered, but returned it for a Petite Medium, which fit better in this case. Again, very nice item, I'd just say order a size down especially if you're on the line between sizes.

This is definitely a generous cut. (I normally wear medium, but purchased the x-small for a more fitted look.) Nice flannel material; good zipper, very warm and comfortable! (Plaids match in front, but not on the sides.) Nice plaids. Very classic looking. Thanks, LLBean!

More cozy than a sweater. Great for late fall before really cold weather hits. Now that it has works as extra layer when I get chilled. Like the dark green and white plaid as it goes with all my flannels and denim. Really cozy comfort piece. Has couple deep pockets at side seams which are generous enough for car keys, money and phone. Nice leather tab pull on front zipper adds nice touch.

I purchased a S in the Bean of Freeport Hunting color (I really really like that pattern). It's a relaxed fit and fits exactly as I expected it would for a relaxed S size. It's roomy but certainly not huge - it'll be really super for wearing over turtlenecks and long-sleeve shirts this winter. Such a cheerful pattern! I have washed it and it came out of the dryer beautifully. I thought flannel would come out of the dryer all wrinkly, and if I weren't such a stickler for ironing, it would be fine as is, but I iron everything haha. Very pleased with this purchase.

I'm grateful to the other reviewers for posting about this shirt/jacket, as I bought it based on their recommendations. I love it. I needed something roomy enough to go over other clothing as I wear it when I walk the dog. It's really just perfect. I throw it on over a t-shirt or a sweatshirt, and it's roomy enough in the body and arms to accommodate the extra fabric. Also, the hood is big enough to go over my watch cap. (Temps are in the 30's and 40's when I walk in the mornings here in winter.) So glad I bought it!

I love these hoodies! They are a hoodie just like a flannel shirt but it has a zipper and big pockets and a hoodie ! What a winner ! I wear them to work and on the farm under my chore jacket. I bought one of every plaid..

I ordered this flannel hoodie in a medium petite so I could layer underneath. Works well for that. Flannel is very soft and extremely comfortable. Love the plaid.

This is a great flannel hoodie. So soft, roomy, and comfortable. Fits great and drapes nicely. Love the pockets on the side and the zip front. The Dress Gordon is a beautiful plaid. Always pleased with the quality and service from LLBean.

I was in an LLBean store in August specifically to purchase a tee shirt. That didn't work out - but I spotted this flannel shirt and on a whim tried it on. Needless to say, it came home with me! I love this shirt and have recommended it to others. The negative reviews said it was large - it is a "relaxed fit" and is very roomy, which is one of the things I love about it. It's large enough to layer, but fits well enough to wear over a tee shirt. I wear a medium or large depending on the cut - and the medium fit easily. A negative review said the hood was too large. I was curious about this and checked. Sure enough, it is large - but until that time I'd never had the hood up! I consider it more for looks and drape than function. The pockets are deep and roomy. Another negative review said the sleeves shrunk when washed. This may have been the case - but if so it was minimal. I bought the black watch pattern and it goes with jeans or black pants well.

I like this so much I'm ordering another as a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law. It is cozy warm, and will be a great addition during the cold months to come. The colors are very good. I washed this before wearing and it didn't shrink at all. If anything it feels even softer now.

I love this shirt. I live in it. It's so comfort and keeps me warm now that the colder weather is coming. I love how it fits. It's roomy and I like that. I did but one this summer at the outlet store which has buttons instead of the zipper and I like it better but I still like this one too. I do wish they would make the button ones though too. I wear them both like jackets this time of year(fall). They are perfect for that.

So cute, comfortable (cotton), looks great and perfect for the fall weather. Runs a bit small after washing so for my 2nd purchase I went up a size. Very happy with this item.

This hoodie is just beautiful. Nice style and fit, with pockets for your hands also. The zipper is handy, the hood is not overly bulky. The plaid is absolutely beautiful. True and vivid colors. Washes and wears beautifully. Try one. You'll love this for your comfy cozy fall, winter and spring wardrobe.

I love the colors of the Grey Stewart---very fall/winter. The jacket is light and warm with a substantial weight. It is a relaxed style so flares out a bit at the bottom. Plenty of room for layering. Pockets are a good size for carrying items or keeping your hands warm. The hem was a bit wrinkly after washing but not a deal breaker---after all this is 100% cotton.

Loved this so much I bought a second one. Soft. Warm. Roomy enough to be not constricting. Love the hood and the pockets so much. Even the zipper pull feels solid. I really can't take this thing off. (Hence the second!) This is the answer to my fall-and-winter-in-New-York prayers.

Runs a little large, especially in the length of the sleeves. Zipper is really convenient

I bought this in my normal large and decided I needed a size up. It's fitted like a normal flannel shirt, so if you want to wear it as a jacket, size it up one. The zipper style is great, I have a button fleece lined as well and it's more cumbersome to get closed and opened, of course. The pockets are slash style in the front, better than my fleece lined with the side seam pockets. But both of them are great, and my son wants one now! I could've gotten a petite, sleeves are a tad long, but since it's warm it's not the end of the world.

Treated myself to one of these as an alternative to my usual sweatshirt-material hoodies. Fell in love with it the minute I tried it on and will probably order another at some point. Long enough but not too long...roomy without looking sloppy. I have had several compliments on it! Thanks again, LL Bean!
