i bought 2 of these in different colors. they are a true 1x size which i am. i am basically alternating them and wearing one or the other almost every day inside and out. when i wear them outside with a winter vest they provide the warmth and coverage needed and inside i use them as a coverup to take the chill off some evenings. i like them more than a regular flannel shirt with their added feature of zip up front, hood and pockets. i have not found that they shrink in the wash. lastly, i've been surprised by the amount of random compliments i get on them! highly recommended.

Love this zip up flannel hoodie! Got it just in time for the temperature drop. It's a quality flannel and I wear it over a long sleeve tee or mock neck tee. Nice and warm

This makes a great indoor layer for chilly days in the fall and winter. Add a shell and it takes you around town for shopping without being overwarm. Did not shrink in a hot dryer!

Better than expected. I love the zip up style, the sleeve cuffs, rich color, and soft texture. It drapes well and the fit is roomy, which is good for me. Very happy with this purchase!

Great fitting flannel shirt. Light weight & perfect for evening temps in Southern California. The hood really kept the chilly breeze off my neck as we relaxed at campfire. My non-plaid daughter was intrigued, which means a plaid hoody under her Christmas tree this year!

I went out on a limb and ordered two of these flannel shirts, mostly because I thought they'd be a great addition to my closet and would be a good substitute for a sweatshirt. I haven't worn flannel in years- not since I was a kid growing up in the Northeast. I was immediately a little worried upon trying them on after waiting for them to ship- they run large, especially around the midsection. I figured I'd wait and see if they would shrink in the wash. I kept them, and have since washed one according to the directions on the inside tag... which now fits perfectly. I purchased the Bean of Freeport Plaid and the Grey Stewart. I received multiple compliments today on the Bean of Freeport plaid, paired with a royal blue shirt that really made the blue within the plaid pop. The Grey Stewart has undertones of red and green within it. I love them both. Very pleased with these items. Very warm, too. I live in Florida now, and we had our first touch of "cold" this week- 50's and 60's. Was comfortable both indoors and outdoors with this as an outer layer for those temps.

This flannel hoodie is the best!! It is so warm and cozy, I didn't want to take it off.

I bought the flannel as birthday gifts for my nieces and aunt for fall California weather. Everyone loves the flannel, from teenagers to older mature women. It is comfortable and just the right weight for a football games or just going to the market. Like any thing made of flannel it is easy to take care of,washes well and only feels better as it ages. Because it is nice and roomy, you can wear a sweater underneath it.

I normally wear a size large, but I had to send the large back and reorder a medium. Runs big, but the medium is perfect. Love it!

High quality flannel, a cute hood, room enough to layer but not sloppy. This zip hoodie is what LL Bean is about. I am busty - a 36DD - with some muscles - and this fit great.

I keep my house cool in the winter and this is the perfect jacket to wear in doors or outside on a nice fall day. The flannel is a little thicker than most flannel shirts and the zipper feature keeps it interesting. I am wearing it so often that I may have to buy another one in a different plaid!

I am between size 4-6 and bought the small. It's very comfy with plenty of room for layering underneath. The XS may have worked for me too. I wish there was an LLBean store in downtown Chicago.

This is the most wonderful, soft hoodie to throw on and go. I bought the medium. If I wanted it to fit closely, I would have to buy a small. However, I like the extra room. I wear the flannel around the house, for walks, and just when going out to run errands. It is gentle, comforting, and easy.

I love this hooded flannel shirt. I initially purchased the Royal Stewart plaid hooded shirt on clearance. Loved it so much I also purchased the Scotch Plaid hooded flannel shirt when they had a 20% off sale. The shirts are very comfortable! I love the longer length, and the shape of the bottom. I also like the full zip. I ordered a medium, as I do with most LL Bean tops, and it fits very well. The flannel is soft, and warm, without being too hot. I love the neckline of the zip front hooded flannel shirt because the back of my neck is easily irritated by collars. This one does not irritate my neck at all because it does not fit around the neck like a traditional button down flannel shirt. I highly recommend this flannel shirt!

I ordered a petite large. I usually wear a 14P. The shirt is comfy and roomy. I am wearing it as I write this review. I may buy another in a different color.

My favorite flannel shirt. It can also be worn as a jacket. I had purchased another of the same in a different color and liked it so well, that I wanted another color. It doesn't have that ugly low back side that so many shirts have nowadays. Great length for me. Love it!

Bought this special for vacation to the Ozarks camping. The weather turned very cold, and this shirt was an instant hit! Wore a turtle neck under it and was very comfortable. I have two actually!

I love this flannel shirt so much I bought three (dress gordon, grey stewart, and stewart victoria). Living in AZ these light weight flannel shirts are perfect for the cool mornings and evenings. The plaid stripes match up on the side seam which is important to me. The shirt is slightly oversized to allow for top underneath.

I loved this flannel! I put it over a fitted shirt and it looked so cute! I have a large and it fit perfect. Super cute and comfortable!
