I was given this style LL Bean sweater as a gift in another color, and decided I would purchase one for myself in a new color, as I really liked the style and fit. The color Boulder looked brown on my own, and several other devices, but I decided to confirm before I made a purchase. The rep I CHAT with went away to get info, then returned and confirmed the sweater color named Boulder was brown. I was so disappointed when it arrived as it is green, confirmed by a dozen other people. Not one of us saw brown of any shade, it is green. Now I have to return it

Lovely color, nice material. The fit is just all wrong. The pullover is way too tight in the shoulders and upper arms, otherwise fit is ok. I tried Medium, which is usual size and it was small generally, but especially so in shoulders and upper arms. I returned that and ordered a Large, expecting that to work, but it was also too small in the shoulders and upper arms. I returned that and bought a Men's pullover in size Medium. Lots of rigmarole to get to a satisfactory outcome. First time I had such challenges with the fit of a fleece from LL Bean.

Kinda small wish it had been a size bigger but I think it was sold out

This sweater fleece is nice, however, I have only worn it once and do not see myself wearing it much more, except for maybe around the house. Because the collar is very high, my tinted moisturizer has stained the cream colored trim (I purchased the Sailcloth color). I was not able to wash all of it out, so I foresee the collar staying permanently discolored and worsening with continual wear. I will not be able to wear it out like I had originally intended because the stains are very noticeable and unattractive. This is my second purchase from L.L. Bean, and now a very expensive mistake. My first purchase was the full zip quilted sweatshirt, which I recommend.

The Medium was too snug, hard to get on and off. The large was too big and loose looking. Sent all back. Like the oatmeal color however.

The pullover washes out of shape. I've dried it flat always, but in successive washes it has lost shape, especially around the bottom edge and at the shoulders. Doesnt look good on anymore.

My husband can order XL in anything and know it will fit. I order XL petites and it's always a guess, usually a bad one. My biggest complaint is that the people who make these garments for women don't realize that if she needs an XL, her arms are probably large too. Otherwise the garment is beautiful and I love the color. Just can't wear it.

I own several of this style. They always look nice, wash and hang dry well. I've not had a problem with pilling or misshaping. I wear them layered and am usually warm on cooler days

I had high hopes for this fleece and ended up sorely disappointed. I wanted a fleece with a pocket and this one fits that bill. However, the pocket lining hangs below the hem of the fleece when used to hold any item, light or heavy. And to make it worse, the material used to create the pocket is white, which is a horrible aesthetic with a blue fleece! Why would you do that? Justwhy? I didn't find the material to be particularly soft, which is very noticeable when the collar is snapped up and it rubs my neck. It's overpriced for the quality in my estimation. I have a fleece from a competitor that I paid much less for and has a much higher rate of satisfaction for me (just no front pocket!) It's also warmer/more comfortable to wear than this one. Nevertheless, this LL Bean one fits true to size; sleeve length is good also. I do like the color, Arctic Blue, but overall, very disappointed.

Not actually very long in the arms. Im just shy of 6'0" and it barely reaches my wrists.

I loved the color of this sweater, however, the collar was much too high for me. Unfortunately, I had to return this sweater.

This fleece pullover unfortunately did not work for me. I ordered a small which I usually wear in Bean tops, but it was just a bit too small. Ordered a medium and that was much too big. The medium was not flattering. Hung a bit too low and the kangaroo pocket pooched out and made the top look less than flattering on a trim person. Had to return both. Unfortunate because I liked the color and hoped to wear it in very cold weather. Will stick with the Bean fleece that is flattering and warm. Not this fleece.

I am disappointed with my latest LL Bean purchase. It's very pretty, but uncomfortably stiff, when I expected a soft sweater. The collar is especially stiff and pokes my neck.

Would love to buy this, but disappointed that LL Bean continues to prominently display their logo on so many of their clothing items. Love LL Bean clothing but won't buy anything with a logo.

There is a lot to love about this sweatshirt - great fit, thick but pliable material, very cosy and soft, lovely colors to choose from - however the pilling is a deal breaker for me. I was using a de-piller comb prior to each wear but I grew concerned the high friction areas would wear thin. I finally downgraded these to underlayers which is a shame. These keep me toasty warm during the cold and damp PNW winters but I no longer wear them when I know I'll be taking off my outerlayer. The pilling is too sloppy looking.

The sizing is off. I wear large but ordered X-Large because it was an over sweater. Couldn't get it on it was so tight. It also appeared short.I am 5'2" tall.

Too long and odd bulge at hemline. Nice fabric and trim color.

There was an LL Bean store closing in Tysons, Virginia and this pullover was pushed to the front of the store so everyone who walked in could see it. Well, I loved it but it was not marked down even for a store closing. I bought it on line and got 10% off. I was not disappointed, this is so well made. I know I will keep it for years to come. I have several LL Bean pieces I bought years ago and the colors and quality have stood up.

I love LL Bean but this fleece is too short and the sleeves are too short. I wish they made it in a tall. Otherwise this would be great!

I live in my four XS Reg fleece pullovers during the late fall and winter. I ordered the muted purple in the same size but I knew it was too small the moment I took it out of the bag. I was willing to size up but the smalls are sold out. I can't help but wonder if this is the 'new normal' for sizing in this item.

Material is not soft. The way it fits is odd. It was tight up top and too roomy on the bottom. Very strange fit and texture. I ordered a bigger size because I wanted it to be roomy and I could barley get it on or off

A pretty color and shape, and toasty warm. BUT WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??? The Pocket Lining on the Arctic Blue Color is White!!! It hangs down when your hands or anything else is in the pocket (as others have noted) and because it is white, it stands out against the blue and Looks Like Your Underwear is Hanging Out -- especially when you are sitting down. Ugh. Also, because the fabric has no stretch, it is near impossible to get on and off. A sad failure, LLBean, especially as it is otherwise pretty. Returning it.
